Race 3: Salman Khan to don 45 custom-made tuxedos in the film

Salman Khan’s Race 3, which is one of the most anticipated films of 2018 will have the actor in 45 different custom-made tuxedos. Like the first two films, this one also boasts of high octane action sequences. While some of the action scenes were shot in Mumbai, the ensemble cast also travelled to Abu Dhabi for other key portions.

What’s interesting to note is that Salman will be donning 45 custom-made tuxedos through the length of the film and even during the action scenes. In fact, the poster of the film featuring Salman showcases him with his suit jacket slung over his shoulder.

Salman Khan will be seen in a stylish avatar in the film and his attire is pivotal to his onscreen persona. However, the franchise requires Salman to perform high octane action as well. So, nearly 45 custom made suits were designed keeping in mind the requirements of his character in the film.

The actor just warned fans as he shared Bobby Deol and Jacqueline Fernandez’s poster on Monday. We wonder what the mystery behind the new still is all about? We are sure like us you too must be thinking – Who is Jacqueline romancing in Race 3?

The action thriller will feature the blockbuster pair of Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez for the second time after the success of Kick.

Race 3’s trailer is one of the most awaited trailers on 2018 as Salman will be seen in an action avatar yet again.

Starring an ensemble cast of Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saquib Saleem and Daisy Shah, the action thriller is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films.

Produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films, Race 3 is directed by Remo D’souza and will hit theatres on Eid 2018.

Well, Ranveer Singh was supposed to perform for Sonam’s mehendi/sangeet last night. But unfortunately he couldn’t make it and the whole world wanted to know where Ranveer Singh was.

Alright we admit, we were asking the same question as well. The entire B-town was there but we cared more about Ranveer (it is kind of obvious). After all, who would not have wanted to see him grooving on the dance floor?

We almost gave up our hopes of seeing ‘Padmaavat’ actor when Sonam and Anand were all set to take their vows.

One by one, Bollywood’s A-listers arrived, dressed in their wedding fineries, looking bright and desi for the summer wedding. But there was no sign of Ranveer. And then he arrived like a boss taking away all the limelight, making the paparazzi go crazy for his picture. And we couldn’t help but just talk about him.

The most fashionable diva of Bollywood is getting married. All eyes are on the A-list stars and, of course, the much-in-love couple.

While Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Dhawan dance away their blues, Swara Bhaskar looks stunning in Indian wear. Karan Johar poses with a half-smile which he claims is the new pout. Anand is an affluent businessman, the owner of a successful fashion label, but unlike the Kapoors, he is not used to living his life in the limelight. Being a second-generation Bollywood family, the Kapoors are well settled in their celebrity status now. And Sonam, of them all, takes to the camera like fish to water (even if there is some struggle, it doesn’t show) – she is chirpy, she is goofy, she is living her Punjabi wedding.

Have you ever gotten inked for something you truly love or believe in? Kind of a crazy idea isn’t it? It becomes crazier, when you know the permanence of your tattoo and the fact that’s it’s going to stay with you forever!

The original Avengers did something as bizarre and exciting and it’s really making us question the finality of the Avenger franchise! The 5 original Avengers got matching tattoos to celebrate the cinematic event of the decade- ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, which is a remarkable culmination of 18 films, over the span of 10 years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Heading the tattooed bunch was Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), as it was totally her idea and she roped in Chris Evans (Captain America), to get inked in New York, by a very successful tattoo artist Josh Lord. After these two got their tats done, they requested Lord to fly to LA, so the rest of the motley crew could get the same tattoo, by the same tattoo artist! That’s when Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) got their tattoos done too. The only one who was missing from the bunch was Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner AKA Hulk) ‘ços, you know body ink is not very ‘Hulk’ like!

Wait, it doesn’t end there though! Guess what these tattooed junkies did right after they got their tattoos? To make this a memorable event and thank the ink-lord, the originals each drew a line on the tattoo artist, with the same tattoo gun that was used on them, creating a complete massacre on the artists body and of course thanking him for inking them so beautifully! Oh wait, I completely forgot to tell you what they got though! They each got the Avengers logo with the number ‘6’ entwined into it, to represent the original 6 members, as body ink! I mean, it’s pretty obvious and also makes us question the fate of the next Avengers movie!

“Five of the original six Avengers got a tattoo and the sixth was the tattoo artist, who gave it to five of us, the one who opted out being Mark Ruffalo.

It was (Scarlett) Johansson’s idea, and she and (Chris) Evans did it in New York. Then, their New York guy, Josh Lord, who is amazing, flew out to LA, he did me, did (Jeremy) Renner, and then we just bullied (Chris) Hemsworth into doing it, and he got it.

And each one of us drew a line on the artist with his own tattoo gun and it was a total massacre. Each of us contributed to giving the tattoo artist the sixth tattoo that he designed for us.

Despite the crooked lightning bolt Scarlett tattooed on Lord, I am sure the bunch had a ball and I really wish we could witness them all getting inked to see who really flinches with pain and who’s nonchalant about it! I also hope we get to see the final tat the Avengers gave Josh Lord, because apparently it was truly a ‘massacre’ and we love massacres, don’t we?

But, did you know, this isn’t the first time a successful movie franchise team is getting tattooed together. This happened way back in 2001 as well, when the actors who played the 9 members of The Fellowship from ‘Lord of the Rings’, celebrated the end of a fantastic trilogy by getting matching tattoos! Well, everyone except John Rhys Davies (Gimli). They all got the number ‘9’ in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Elvish Tengwar script and I am sure it looked beautiful!

4 Kapoors That Didn't Care About Sonam Kapoor's Wedding

One of the biggest Kapoor weddings in the recent times has finally happened in Mumbai today. Sonam Kapoor just tied the knot with Anand Ahuja (her recently-acquired boyfriend) at a sea-facing venue in Bandstand, Mumbai. Of course, the closest ones to the families, including most of Bollywood’s Kapoors, were present on the couple’s big day. Most, as we said.

To be honest, not every single Kapoor who’s known to the family decided to attend the wedding. While it’s known whether they were invited or not (they should have been), all we know is: a few Kapoors were completely MIA on Sonam Kapoor’s wedding day. Though, we hope to spot them at the wedding reception tonight, here’s a list of the Kapoors that gave the past three days a miss:

1. Ranbir Kapoor

While it’s completely unknown why Ranbir took a miss on Sonam’s wedding day, what we know is: he was definitely in town. On occasion #1 of Sonam’s mehendi at home, the actor was spotted attending the Raazi premiere alongside his rumored girlfriend, Alia Bhatt. Following the same pattern, last night, during Sonam’s Mehendi/Sangeet ceremony for one and all, Ranbir was amiss. And well, there he was: attending Isha Ambani’s engagement ceremony. LOL.

2. Shraddha Kapoor

Shraddha may not be directly related to Sonam’s family, but she has been seen hanging around with Bollywood’s in-house fashionista. Though, in the past, the two have been at logger-heads, they both confirmed that they have nothing against each other. But while Shraddha’s brother Siddhant Kapoor was present for a few festivities for Sonam’s wedding, Shraddha was nowhere to be found. Hmm?

3. Rishi Kapoor

Much like his son, daddy Rishi Kapoor, too, preferred giving Sonam Kapoor’s wedding a big ignorance letter. Though, let’s admit: he wasn’t seen around anywhere in Mumbai during this time, we’re wondering whether he wasn’t invited or was just not interested in attending it. Whatever said and done, we hope to spot him at the reception tonight.

4. Ekta Kapoor

Ekta Kapoor is the co-producer of Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming movie ‘Veere Di Wedding’. But while that’s factual knowledge, what’s to discuss is the fact that she wasn’t seen anywhere at the wedding festivities. Was this a conscious decision of not letting work mix with personal relations? Or did they have a fall-out during the promotions? We’re not quite sure.

It has finally happened. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are married and fans clearly can’t keep calm. The couple had an intimate Sikh wedding at Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh’s home, Rockdale in Bandra, Mumbai. After throwing a starry Mehendi bash where we saw the whole B-town dancing to Badshah and Sukhbir’s beats, the duo had an intimate wedding. The function was held at Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh’s home Rockdale in Bandra, Mumbai.

Keeping it low key, the Kapoors and Ahujas had invited their close friends and relatives. And we saw Sonam’s wedding in full flow with all the Bollywood stars in tow. From Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, to Karan Johar and more, it surely is the wedding of the year.
