Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has collaborated with Mumbai-based stand-up comedy group All India Bakchod (AIB), which is known for taking up on the social issues in a hilarious way, for a new video.
When an actress of Kangana’s calibre allies with AIB, one can expect a hilarious, uncut and unadulterated ride on the topic chosen.
Their association is for a promotional video song for Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film ‘Simran‘, helmed by director Hansal Mehta, which releases on September 15.
The parody video has finally been released, and we bet you’ll start rolling over the floors while watching the video, directed by AIB‘s Tanmay Bhat.
In the song, Kangana Ranaut takes a jibe on Bollywood’s obsession with sexual objectification of its actresses.
The unabashed video is also a takedown on nepotism and the actress’ involvement only being limited to titillating the audience and banking on its integral prurience.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he was not allowed to board a flight to the US after the September 11 terrorist attacks in the country in 2001.
During that time, he stayed in a hotel room for three “treacherous” days.
“9/11 was most tragic and sad and frightening… I was shooting for ‘Kaante’ in Los Angeles and had taken a couple of days off to travel to Egypt for the International Film Festival in Alexandria, where they were honouring me with a special award,” Amitabh recalled on his blog on Monday on the 16th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.
“Ceremony over, the next morning I took a flight out of Cairo, to Los Angeles via London… Arrived in London, Heathrow Airport, and after a short wait was announced to board my flight to Los Angeles via New York City,” he added.
The 74-year-old said when he was about to board the flight he got a call from “very frantic and screaming Shweta (Nanda) from Delhi” who asked him to see TV.
“I did not have time to ask why, and I think it was quite obvious that something important and serious was happening … also immediately there was a sudden commotion in the entire airport … people were moving about rather rapidly in all directions, some with muffled screams and a large portion of them running to the large TV screen at the terminal,” Amitabh said.
He said he saw one plane hitting the World Trade Center on TV.
He added: “Motionless and in shock and stunned silence, people watched the second one go in too and it was a most inexplainable situation .. some had anger written all over them, some were in tears, others were frantically making calls …
“I just stood there for a while stunned and then quietly walked across to my gate to board the flight … boarded, taxied off and then the plane turned back … announcement … all flights to and from US blocked and stopped.”
Amitabh said that he stayed in a hotel for next three days.
“Airline after much to and fro arranged for us to get to a hotel and there we stayed for the next three days until there was clearance to travel,” Amitabh said.
“Those three days at the hotel were treacherous … did not move from the room and only watched TV giving news of the incident and talks and debates and details of what and why and where and how. A sad moment.
“A few years later I on a visit to New York had driven past the site, where preparations were being done to rebuild the spot with a memorial,” he added.

Television heartthrob Karan Kundra, actor Sumeet Vyas, and YouTube sensation Sahil Khattar are the adventurous ‘stupid men’ on the block. Blame it on their upcoming show that people call them ‘stupid.’
The trio was at the mid-day office to promote their upcoming adventurous show ‘Stupid Man Smart Phone,’ which is all set to break the notion of how one sees an adventure show.
Talking about the show, the boys exclusively told mid-day, “In the show, we are all ourselves with our cell phones. From the time we wake up. The format is that if you are left in a godforsaken place, in very critical circumstances, you only have your cell phone (no food and money) to survive. So, can you do it? And of course, we can survive with the cell phones, therefore we are here. “
When further questioned them about the various challenges and hurdles they went through, the trio shared some hilarious and scary anecdotes.
While Karan spoke about how he literally stole momos from a kid for his survival, and a point, where he had to climb the tree of a dense forest and fetch for the route ahead, Sahil Khattar’s experience with a camel in Rajasthan is a hilarious one, wherein Sumeet and Karan made fun of him over his experience with the camel.
Sahil said, “We climbed the camel, got down. We didn’t know how to climb it. So, we took Google’s help and managed to do it. It was very difficult. Only we know how we escaped that terror. There was a point, where the camel was about to kiss Sumeet (laughs.)” He added, “We had to sit on the camel, but the camel just wasn’t ready for the ride. Technically, until the camel doesn’t sit, how would we sit on it? We went live, and people gave us brilliant (being sarcastic) suggestions. I jumped and managed to sit, then Sumeet asked me, ‘you went up but how will you come down?”
Later, Karan Kundra mentioned about his experiences of how he made products made of yak milk, Sahil cut in and said that he had to have camel’s milk as he was very hungry. While Sahil explained that how on his travelling expert’s suggestion, he milked the camel Karan and Sumeet joked as to how he found the animal’s gender and they realised that they need to fondle the camel, before extracting its milk.
Sahil told, “For around half-an-hour, Sumeet ‘bhai’ fondled it, and when the camel got charged, a river of milk started pouring in.” After which, Karan smartly said, “This is a very sophisticated way of explaining the entire incident. (Laughs) A while ago, when he was narrating it, Sumeet was actually rolling on the floor.”
The troop’s first-day halt was in Rajasthan, which is one of the most haunted places in India, and that left us petrified. Their show ‘Stupid Man, Smart Phone’ releases in September 2017.

Who says mommies-to-be play it safe? Sunidhi Chauhan, in the news recently for expecting her first child, delivers a power-packed number at a concert held in Mumbai on Saturday.
Sunidhi Chauhan is excited as well as nervous about embracing motherhood and describes it as a most magical experience. The singer says she will not keep her career on the back-burner after delivering the baby, but will try to balance both worlds with utmost care.
“I am excited and nervous like any other girl. I hope everything goes well,” she said.
Sunidhi got married to music composer Hitesh Sonik in 2012, and the news of her pregnancy came out in August. The singer says she has not planned her move, but is sure that she will not abandon her “first and last love” — singing.
“I am thankful to all the amazing wishes coming my way for me and my baby. I am super excited. This is something that I am experiencing for the first time. I am thankful to God for that because, now that I am in this state, I have realised that it is the most beautiful thing, the most magical thing on earth,” Sunidhi told IANS in a recorded response from Mumbai.
“To be able to give birth to a new life is definitely the most amazing phenomenon. Yes, I get tired too quickly nowadays, but I am loving the conversations that I am having with my friends because this is all I talk about all the time, trying to know more about motherhood and babies, preparing myself, conditioning myself for the day when I will see my (my baby) in my hands and taking care of it,” she added.
After delivery, the singer, who started singing for films when she was 11, will go with the flow.
“I have never planned many things in my life. I have always gone with my instinct and flow… There will be some decisions that I will be taking… but have no plans. I will go with the flow because this is the most natural thing that could happen to a female.
“Every girl in the world goes through this and I am one of them. I have to balance both. There is going to be a new life in my life and it will be equally or more important than anything else. I do know… that my first and last love is my singing, the gift God gave to me. So, I will take care of both and just make sure I am at peace with myself,” the songstress said.
Sunidhi, who had a live gig at Dublin Square, Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla, in Mumbai last week, feels if she is “sound” in her head, then “everything will fall in place”.
The singer has sung tracks such as “Mast”, “Kamli”, “Desi girl”, “Navrai majhi” and “Saaki”, shown her acting skills and judged singing realty TV shows.
She says she has evolved as an artiste over the past two decades.
“I started singing for films when I was 11. I have seen a lot. I have seen music change and lyric-writing change. Thankfully, even after all those changes, I am still (here) and that is very exciting because I think you need to grow as an artiste. I have got just the right opportunities — and people to work with, with whom I could grow further,” she said.
“I try to sound different and better… each time I sing a song, and that is what I thrive on,” the singer said.

If you are too bummed about the 2-year wait to the 8th season of ‘Game of Thrones’, don’t be. We’re sure there’s going to be a lot of speculations, sneak peeks, set photos, spoiler hints dropped by producers if we’re lucky. Just in is a photo from the ‘Game of Thrones’ set in Belfast.
The shooting for ‘Game of Thrones’ season 8 is expected to begin in October 2017 and preparations are on in full swing. Filming locations, props, sets etc. are being readied for the shoot. Some hawk-eyed people spotted a hut that looks much like a Dothraki hut at Titanic Studios in Belfast, Ireland.

The photo was captured by Spanish website Los Seite Reinos. It is claimed that in all, there were 3 huts – 2 small ones and a third bigger hut. If you’ve been a dedicated GOT fan and have watched all seasons closely, it’d take you no time to realise that it looks like a Dothraki hut. The kind we’ve seen in the Dothraki Sea and in Vaes Dothrak.

Now we all know that the Dothraki army is headed North with Daenerys to fight the army of the Undead. They could be setting up camp by building Dothraki huts in Winterfell, but winter has arrived in the North and it’d be too cold for them to reside outside. They are the strongest men in the land but surely not used to the harsh winter of the North.
One thing is for sure – there will be some development in the Dothraki plot. We would probably also get to see more of the Dothraki general, Qhono.

If the huts are not in the North where the Dothraki army is, where is this scene headed to? If there’s a scene scheduled in Vaes Dothrak, it could only mean one thing – Khal Drogo is coming back?! It could be a prequel, but nevertheless it’d be great to see Daenerys and Khal in happier times.

From calling her a ‘Bollywood Diva’ for making “unjustifiable demands” to giving her a script written on toilet paper and bowing down in front of the male leads, this video is spot on. This is possibly the best cover of the famous ‘Chittiyan Kalaiyan’ song one can ever make. With lyrics like “Coz I have vagina re”, this is definitely the peppiest number of this year.
Bollywood fraternity breathed a sigh of relief when Pahlaj Nihalani, the ‘too-sanskaari- to-handle’ Chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification, was finally sacked.
The man made headlines every other day during his reign because of his insane demands to eliminate certain words and scenes from movies. He even disallowed the word intercourse in the trailer of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, reasoning that the Indian mentality is not ready for such progressiveness yet.

Nihalani managed to stir the country by becoming the ‘presenter and distributor’ of an upcoming (erotic) thriller, ‘Julie 2′.
But, of course, he had an explanation for the same. When the trailer was released, he was of the view that ‘Julie 2′ should get an ‘A’ certificate because it is a “very, clean adult movie” even though the trailer was in complete contrast to his clarification.
He further added in an interview that ‘Julie 2′ should be given an ‘A’ certificate without any cuts. There is no vulgarity, obscenity or even a language problem.”Turns out, his dreams have come true as the movie has cleared the censors and has received an ‘A’ certificate from CBFC without any cuts. We repeat: no cuts whatsoever!
Mr. Nihalani is obviously on cloud nine now as he even expressed his happiness by saying, “This is just what I had hoped for. If I was still the CBFC chairperson, I’d have given Julie 2 an ‘Adults’ certificate with no cuts. It is a clean adult film for adult members of a family. Though it’s a film on an adult subject – the exploitation of strugglers and newcomers in Bollywood—the film has no nudity, no skin show, and no double-meaning dialogues. Like I said it is a family film for adults and the CBFC has done the right thing.”
The internet went ballistic when the trailer was released and didn’t shy away from calling Nihalani a hypocrite for peddling soft-porn, to which he conveniently replied, “Soft porn or soft corn, or harsh reality, let the film release. The world will know.”
“I can’t even”…“daf***”…“Ye kya bak****i hai”. Go on. Take your pick from these expressions while venting about this hysterically ironical moment!
