KRK reveals Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Harry Met Sejal plot, Compares it with DDLJ

srk-krk-7591 Shah Rukh Khan’s act in Jab Harry Met Sejal has created a lot of curiosity on social media. He will be seen doing a full-fledged romantic character in Imtiaz Ali’s film, but somehow makers haven’t yet let you feel so. There is a freshness and novelty to SRK and Anushka’s sparkling on-screen chemistry as revealed by Jab Harry Met Sejal mini trails. Instead of a trailer, the film will have eight such Jab Harry Met Sejal trails out of which three have already been released.

But self-proclaimed critic KRK thinks otherwise. In his latest review of Jab Harry Met Sejal mini trails, while KRK stays away from trolling them, he did cause some damage. KRK not only revealed the plot of the whole film but also drew a comparison between Jab Harry Met SejaL with Shah Rukh’s classic 1995 movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

KRK while revealing the plot of the story says, “Anushka Sharma who belongs to Gujarat is already engaged. She wants to travel all over the Europe before getting married. Anushka meets Shah Rukh Khan who is a tour guide in Europe. Both Anushka and SRK travel all over the Europe. After completing her tour, Anushka calls her fiancee and says she is returning back to India. But Anushka also finds out that her engagement ring is lost and when she informs her fiancee about it, he asks Anushka to bring that ring at any cost.”

“Anushka who is now forced to find her ring asks Shah Rukh to help her in finding the ring. SRK takes Anushka to all the places they had visited during their short tour and in the journey, both fall in love with each other. But Anushka eventually finds out that her engagement ring is in her purse only but she couldn’t locate it in the first place,” KRK adds.

KRK also says that Jab Harry Met Sejal is the same old story of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge with a twist of the ring. The self-proclaimed critic also asks Shah Rukh this, “If I have seen you in the same role 25 years ago, why would I see you again repeating the same act. If you would have been able to imbue same magic in such roles, why Aditya Chopra wouldn’t have cast you in Befikre instead of Ranveer Singh?”

salman_mati In a promotional masterstroke, the makers of superstar Salman Khan-starrer Tubelight introduced the audience to the little boy from the movie, Matin Rey Tangu, four days before the film’s release. The kid, who hails from Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, and was only seen in film’s trailers shared the stage with the actor at a press meet on Monday evening. Salman Khan has been full of praises for eight-year-old Matin and we could see why at the event.

The event, which was filled with moments of wonder thanks to Salman’s little co-star, took an embarrassing turn when a reporter asked Matin if this is the first time he is visiting India, assuming he is Chinese. The journalist was corrected by another scribe sitting beside her, who told her Matin is from Arunachal Pradesh. Realising the goof-up, she changed her question to, “If this is the first time you have come to Mumbai?” Even as Matin asked her to repeat her question for it wasn’t audible to him, Salman, who had heard the first question, interrupted, turned towards Matin and asked him, “She is asking, if you have come to India for the first time?” The journalist repeated and said, “Is it first time in Mumbai?” Salman, however, stuck to his question and asked Matin again, “She is asking, if you have come to India for the first time?”

The boy, who had already by then left the mediapersons in awe with his sharpness, replied, “Hum India per hi baithta hai, toh India mei toh aayega na (I live in India only, so obviously I will come here),” as the crowd emerged in cheers and applause.

Tubelight is set against the backdrop of 1962 Sino-Indian war and Salman’s Chinese co-star in the film is actor Zhu Zhu, who is making her Bollywood debut. She hasn’t been to India yet for the promotions and director Kabir Khan has said that her India visit will only happen after the film’s release. Tubelight hits theatres this Friday.

shahrukh-salman-251013 Salman Khan reveals that it took him less than a phone call to convince Shah Rukh Khan for a cameo in his upcoming film ,Tubelight. He says that even before he could complete the sentence, Shah Rukh said ‘It’s done,’ cutting him in the middle.

Salman Khan says it took just a phone call to convince Shah Rukh Khan to do a special appearance in his film Tubelight. The Kabir Khan-directed movie, which hits the theatres on June 23, is set against the backdrop of the 1962 India-China war.

While Sohail Khan is in the role of a soldier, Salman plays his simpleton brother. The actor said the Shah Rukh didn’t even listen to the entire conversation before saying yes. “When Kabir narrated the subject to me, he said for this role we should get Shah Rukh. So, I called up Shah Rukh and told him, ‘In Tubelight, there’s this small’, and he cut me, saying, ‘It’s done’. He didn’t even let me complete the sentence. He just said ‘it’s done’,” Salman told reporters here.

The actor was speaking at a special event last night where they introduced child actor Matin Rey Tangu to the media. The five-year-old actor, who hails from Itanagar, plays an integral part in Tubelight. Salman said with Tubelight, Tangu will become as popular as Harshali Malhotra, his co-star in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The movie is an official adaptation of the 2015 American war drama Little Boy.

The movie was recently in the news as its play-time has been reduced by 19 minutes. The film was as long as any other Kabir Khan film but the CBFC decided to reduce its screen time, making it the shortest film of Salman Khan in recent times. Tubelight is set against the backdrop of 1962 Sino-Indian war and Chinese star, Zhu Zhu is also starring in the film.

The makers of Anushka Sharma-SRK-starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal have come up with an innovative way to promote their movie. The team shot a video with film’s lead actor Shah Rukh Khan in which his character Harinder Singh Nehra aka Harry can be seen missing Sejal, the character played by Anushka Sharma.

The video starts with Jasbir Jassi’s famous song ‘Dil Lae Gayi Kudi Gujarat Di’. The video aims to find the all girls with the name Sejal. SRK will visit the city with the maximum number of girls named Sejal.

The 51-year-old actor shared the video on his Twitter handle and captioned it as, “Kithe hai kudi… Kithe hai meri Sejal? Aa raha hun dil waapas lene. Let me know your city: http://www.redchillies.com/sejal/#HarrySeekingSejal.”

Team Jab Harry met Sejal also plans to introduce one of the many “mini trails” from the film to sports and cinema lovers during the India Pakistan match Sunday afternoon.

Mini trails are a series of 30 second clips from the film, which will be released first as an introduction to what Jab Harry met Sejal team has in store to offer. The mini trails will serve as a build up to the songs of the film, and help communicate the essence of the love story.

Imtiaz Ali’s Jab Harry met Sejal traces the love story of a Punjabi guy played by Shah Rukh and a Gujarati girl essayed by Anushka.

Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jab Harry Met Sejal is directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is all set to release on August 4.

shah-rukh-anushka As promised Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer is not going to walk down the beaten path for the promotions of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. The makers are releasing mini trailers that would give us a personal sneak peek into the lives of Harry and Sejal.

The first such short clip saw Shah Rukh’s character Harry tell Anushka’s character Sejal how he looked at women in a lecherous manner and the second one saw Sejal reading him the content of an indemnity bond in case the two do indulge in any ‘sexual interaction’ with each other.

While the two trails had raised enough curiosity for the film, the third one is also out now and perhaps is the most interesting one of the lot.

In the video, Harry seems extremely irritated in Sejal’s presence as he expresses his frustration in Punjabi, with the latter just looking at him helplessly.

While Harry is all Punjabi, Sejal is also seen calling him ‘A1 character’ in the typical Gujarati accent.

She also tells him she won’t leave without the ring, revealing perhaps why the film was tentatively titled ‘The Ring’ earlier.

The film helmed by Imtiaz Ali is one of its kind and sees two people from different worlds collide. The story revolves around their journey across Europe. The highlight of this trailer and the film is the search for Sejal’s engagement ring. Amidst so much drama, this is also the story of their new found freedom, security, solace, love and paying heed to the inner voice.

The Imtiaz Ali film is set to hit the screens on August 4, 2017.

Up until now in the Indian music industry, if there’s one person who can mimic any and every singer out there, it’s Sonu Nigam. The singer can even sing in a woman’s voice so brilliantly that you won’t be able to tell the difference.

Every singer has his/her own style that sets them apart, but there are a few gifted singers who have all the versatility in the world. And singers have never shied away from trying to stretch their limits. A case in point is Aksh Baghla, who attempted to mimic the voice and singing style of 9 different singers.

His impression of Mika, Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Mohit Chauhan, Sanam Puri, and even Honey Singh is right on point and it’s a no brainer that the guy is exceptionally talented. But even he can’t replicate the magic of the legend that was Jagjit Singh. The ghazal maestro, with his soothing deep voice, really is irreplaceable.

The sad demise of Paul Walker shocked everyone and, of course, eventually led to the seventh instalment ending on a different note than it was originally planned. Our hearts broke when we saw the two friends bid goodbye in the closing scene of the movie.

Have you ever wondered about the fate about the series and, particularly, this movie, if Paul was still alive?
