As we all eagerly await the release of the trailer of ‘Tomb Raider’ starring Alicia Vikander, there is an interesting thing that caught the Internet’s attention and how. On one hand, where the makers were basking in the popularity the movie’s poster was enjoying, Twitter on the other hand was engaged in proving the directors that they can do a better job when it comes to Photoshop. The official Twitter handle of ‘Tomb Raider’ recently released the poster where actress Alicia Vikander is slaying it as Lara Croft. But, there is a tiny mistake that they couldn’t figure out, but people were quick to catch on. Check out this poster.

Now if you look closely, Alicia’s neck looks really weird and it’s evident that the photo was retouched to make her neck appear longer. Clearly, fans were miffed and laughing at the same time over this photoshopped image and came up with their bizarre and f**ked up variations for the poster.

Tomb Raider or Tomb Raptor? Sup wit dat photoshop job, dawg? #tombraider pic.twitter.com/2sf6p9gHv9

Someone even gave an explanation as to why her neck appears longer and it kind of does make sense.

She just had an accident earlier. pic.twitter.com/xQSTrdqNbX

Personal trainer: “Rise and shine, it’s neck day!”
Alicia Vikander: “AGAIN?!”
Personal trainer: “No neck pain, no neck gain, girl.”

They need to try and get more original with how to pose a female character in a poster… pic.twitter.com/INCg6kCPYF

The only way Vikander’s neck makes sense in this poster is if the movie was originally TOMB RAPTOR. pic.twitter.com/VfDRk5mFIU

No disrespect meant to Alicia Vikander, because she’s lovely. But this poster makes it look like she has a neck like E.T. lol. pic.twitter.com/Ah3dAF50lq

While we were still recuperating from these hilarious reactions to the poster, Tomb Raider had already dropped a major bomb on us in the form of this 15-second teaser that hints at how killer this movie is going to be.

The trailer is yet to be released, but if the teaser and the poster has already created so much buzz, we can only imagine how big an impact the trailer will have on us. The movie is slated for a March 2018 release.
