Indian weddings are all about amazing food, some dramebaaz relatives, and non-stop naach-gaana. And with rumors about Sonam Kapoor getting hitched to Anand Ahuja, we can’t help but think what an amazing wedding it will be.
As far as we can say, it is going to be the ‘THE’ function of the year and everyone will have their eyes on it. Sonam getting married is going to be a big deal and to make it the most happening gala, you will be seeing celebs lining up on the stage giving their rocking performances.
From the couple giving the performance of the night to Farah Khan choreographing the dance, everything about it will be like a movie rolling live. Janhvi Kapoor (Sonam’s cousin) will be seen performing to her late mother Sridevi’s popular numbers like Mere Haathon Mein Nau Nau Chudiyan Hain and Kisi Ke Haath Naa Aayegi Yeh Ladki, according to reports.
Well, watching Janhvi taking her mother’s legacy forward would definitely be a treat to our eyes. After all, we already have our money on her to become the next big star. Adding more to Sonam’s fun-filled night will be a special performance by Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.
Yeah, we know the thought of watching the two dance together is enough to get your excitement level up. Both of them will be seen stepping into the shoes of her dad Anil Kapoor and guess the song they have picked?
It’s none other than Anil iconic number- ‘My Name Is Lakhan’. We have already seen them performing to this track a zillion times, but when you know it is Anil Kapoor’s daughter’s wedding you will not mind watching it once again.
It is going to be a must watch for sure. And imagine what if Anil joins the stage too? That would be a treat to our eyes. We are already super excited to see all the inside videos.
Though Sonam’s marriage will be a star-studded affair, it is going to be an intimate wedding with just close friends and family members. The function will be held at their heritage bungalow.
In fact, Sonam is a very private person and in fact, she even mentioned in an interview recently, “ I think there is too much money spent; it’s all very crass, and I would rather give that money away. I’d rather have a wedding at home than anywhere else. I think it’s important to do all the rituals, but I don’t believe in spending all that money, I find it disgusting and very wasteful, and I’m not okay with that at all.”
If everything goes as planned, Sonam and Anand will be getting hitched on May 8 as per reports.
