Rajkummar Rao is one of those few actors who can go to any length for an on screen role. Just to ace the look and the mannerisms of the character, he doesn’t mind travelling those extra miles and that’s what makes him an exceptional actor.

Well, for Rao, being Netaji required him to get trained both physically and mentally in order to get that authenticity. To understand the pulse of the character he was going to play, Rao did an interesting thing. He filled his make-up room’s mirror with various pictures of Bose. Before every shot, he used to observe those pictures. In fact, whenever he was on breaks, he made it a point to take a look at these photos. This process somewhere helped him to get an insight about Bose’s posture, mannerism, style, which eventually helped him play this important character with such ease.
