For years we have seen love stories about hugs, kisses, two people falling head over heels for each other. But what if you come across a film that’s not a love story but a story about love?

Well, the thought sounds pretty much interesting and can grab your attention really. We can’t agree that Bollywood really needs to get over the old cliché and bring us a story that’s mature, fresh and yet gives us a slice-of-life feel.

Shoorjit Sircar’s ‘October’ is all that you have been looking for. When we first watched the teaser the gloomy world of Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu did break our heart a little and the trailer does the left job for us.

Wonder what’s so wonderful? Not even once the trailer talks about love or attraction but what it does talk about is care, respect and missing someone’s presence. It talks about human emotions and presents us with different shades of relationship in our daily lives.

The story simply revolves around people in hotel management. Varun wants to grow but is not being given a chance to prove his worth and is often asked to clean and sweep the hotel rooms. Banita is his colleague who works along with him. A tragedy strikes and Banita ends up in the hospital fighting for her life. While everyone resume with their lives carefreely, you see Varun caring and failing to understand how can people instantly get over someone so easily.

From the first to the last frame, the trailer totally keeps you hitched to the story. The way the sequences have been picturised leaves an imprint on your heart. The highlight of the clip is, of course, its background music that stays with you for some reason.

Sometimes the greatest way to say something is to say nothing at all but baby I can’t help myself. #OctoberTrailer  out tomorrow @BanitaSandhu @ShoojitSircar @ronnielahiri @writeonj

And lastly, Varun and Banita are so good in every frame that you just want to watch them over and over again. What’s even more stunning is watching Varun in a way we have never seen before. He totally leaves you impressed, to say the least. And Banita is like a breath of fresh air.

Check out the trailer yourself and celebrates love, nature and the autumn season in the most unseen manner.

The film slated to release on 13 April and we eagerly look forward to watching it.
