Steven Soderbergh, the man who earlier gave us movies like ‘Ocean’s Eleven’, ‘Contagion’, ‘Out of Sight’ and ‘Solaris’; is back in action with yet another intriguing and mind-numbing psychological thriller called ‘Unsane’. And the recently released trailer, although kind of gives away most of the plot, manages to capture our attention like nothing else.

To refresh your memory, Soderbergh is the same guy who dropped massive hints of his retirement from filmmaking back in 2013. But, we’re glad he didn’t, else we would have been deprived of this gem of a movie, which has raised the bar of psychological thrillers and horror movies to an unmatched level.

However, the movie’s quirky and trippy story plot isn’t the only talking point of the movie. *Drumroll* Looks like Soderbergh loves the iPhone so much that he went ahead and shot this entire movie with it. The quality is so incredible that had we not told you, you would have never believed that this movie was shot using an iPhone.

Honestly, we feel Apple should leave everything else and use this trailer to promote the camera quality of iPhones because it can’t get more convincing than this. It just shows how the camera quality of iPhones has improved over the years.

Talking about the movie, the story revolves around a woman (played by Claire Foy), who is under constant fear that someone is stalking her, especially after she receives weird messages from an unknown person. While seeking help, she suddenly finds herself trapped inside a mental institution against her will, where she is subjected to traumatic forms of treatment. Whether she is being stalked by a psychopath for real or is everything just a delusion, weaves the rest of the plot.

Throughout the trailer, connecting the dots were quite easy, but the moment you thought that you’ve unlocked the whole gist, the tables are turned and you are back to square one wondering if it all was a myth or reality. Well, probably that’s the charm of Soderbergh we were missing all these years. The film also stars, Joshua Leonard, Jay Pharoah, Juno Temple, Amy Irving and Aimee Mullins. ‘Unsane’ is expected to release on March 23.
