The official trailer of ‘Nanu Ki Jaanu’ is out and watching Abhay Deol after such a long time feels like an early Christmas present. Unlike what you have seen before, Abhay’s new flick is the story of a ghost falling in love with a crook. The trailer clearly gives us a glimpse of an after-life love story between the beautiful Patralekhaa and Deol.

Started work on a new film! A dark comedy, my favourite genre. #Nanukijaanu pic.twitter.com/blK9YBndy7

While many might think horror is Bollywood’s new genre, let us tell you this one looks like a promising slapstick comedy with some witty one-liners. The film will also bring the amazing Jodi of ‘Lucky’ and ‘Bangali’ (Abhay Deol and Manu Rishi Chadha) from Dibakar Banerjee’s 2008 film, ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’ and looking at how these movies fared you just know, this is going to be a great watch indeed.

Directed by Faraz Haider, the film is all set to hit the screens on 20 April. Written by Manu Rishi Chadha, it looks like a light-hearted quirky film that might entertain the viewers thoroughly. Also, Bigg Boss contestant Sapna Chaudhary will be seen in the film playing a vital role.

What also makes us hopeful is the fact, that Abhay is very picky about the content and often signs films that had always made us love his performance and the story.

Watch the trailer below:

With films like ‘Dev D’, ‘Ranjhanna’, ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’, Abhay has always moved us with his unconventional roles. He will soon be seen in Anand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ and also will be seen working on ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’, a sequel to the hit 2016 film ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’.

The actor will also be making his Tamil debut with ‘Idhu Vedalam Sollum Kathai’ and we are pretty thrilled to watch him rocking the silver screen again.
