He rules the northern belt of India and is making his own space in B-town. Diljit Dosanjh may have done just two films in Bollywood but the man is already ruling millions of heart. From establishing himself as an actor who can ace any character to winning Best Male Debutant in IIFA for ‘Udta Punjab', he has already become a name that many watch out for.

He gave a great performance in ‘Udta Punjab' and his chemistry with Kareena Kapoor Khan was appreciated. Well, one has to agree that sharing screen space with Kareena and not being over-showed by her charm is something Diljit really rocked at. Soon he left us amazed when he bagged ‘Phillauri' starring Anushka Sharma and people loved his Sufi avatar in the film. And how can we forget songs by him!

And now this Punjabi heartthrob is all set to romance leggy lass Ileana D'Cruz. Now isn't that an amazing news? We bet these two will set the screen on fire and we can't wait to see them together.

This film is being directed by Shaad Ali who is known for his films ‘Saathiya' and ‘Ok Jaanu'. The title of the film is yet to be decided but one got to agree Shaad has roped in a fresh pair and people will definitely love to see them together.

Currently, Ileana is gearing up for the release of her film ‘Mubarakan' starring Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Athiya Shetty which is set to hit the theatres on 28th July. Also, she will be seen in ‘Baadshaho' with Ajay Devgn, a film that has the emergency period as its backdrop.

Not many know but Diljit was also offered the role that Emraan Hashmi is playing in ‘Baadshaho' but things didn't get materialised. “Milan sir is a nice director. The role that I was offered I felt I would not be able to justify. It was a nice role. But I couldn't relate to the character. I felt I couldn't just do it. I did speak to Milan sir after that,” Diljit told in a media interaction.

Well, Shaad Ali's movie is set to start its shoot from September 2017 and we bet many of us are already loving the idea of watching these two together.

With the whole cast going all out to promote it, everyone has been eagerly waiting for the release of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. But, it has been reported that the movie, which is set to release on 15th August, has already been leaked.

It is very unfortunate to hear about how the movie has been circulating on pen drives and CDs, when so much goes into the making of a movie. One of these pen drives even landed in the hands of Remo D’souza as well.

Remo D'souza Revealed He Got A Leaked Copy Of ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' On A Pen Drive© Viacom 18 Motion Pictures

In an interview with Spotboye, he revealed how a leaked copy came into his possession through his gym trainer.

He said, “My building’s gym trainer, Vithal, came up to me and said that he had a pen drive which has the first half of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. I thought he was joking, but he insisted that I believe him. I immediately told him to bring it to me.”

He further added, “I opened up the pen drive and almost fell off from my chair. It was not the first half, but the entire second half.”

“This implied that if this pen drive had started doing the rounds, it would have created havoc. I am a filmmaker and I know how the world comes crashing down if anybody’s film from my fraternity is exposed before it hits theatres.”

Even though Remo couldn’t contact Akshay since he is currently in London shooting for his next movie, he made sure to inform the film makers so something can be done about it as soon as possible, before a lot of damage could be coming their way.

Piracy is, unfortunately, quite a common thing in the industry, with movies like ‘Udta Punjab’ leaking just one day before the premier. People need to understand how much actually goes into making a movie, especially a movie like ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and need to give up these unethical practices.

International Indian Film Academy Awards are always the most talked about event of the year and yet again since the last couple of days, social media is just flooded with IIFA updates. Well, we are sure no one is complaining; after all, who doesn’t like getting hottest updates from the event?

We bet there is not a single Bollywood lover who wouldn’t want to know about what happened at the award night and if their favourite actors bagged the award or not.

Well, since you couldn’t be there at the event in New York, we bring the updates directly from the event here to you. The event, as usual, began with some awards being announced. Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan were the host for the day and charmed everyone out there. But can we expect anything less from the two?

But it was Alia Bhatt’s opening performance that people couldn’t get over. Being her true self, she gave a full on entertaining performance, and even made her co-actor Varun Dhawan groove with her to Badrinath Ki Dulhania song. Now, who wouldn’t love to see Badri and his dulhania setting the stage on fire together?

This year was great for team Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, as they won various awards. Varun who attended IIFA for the first time didn’t return empty handed. And Alia didn’t just win one but bagged two trophies. And this just doesn’t surprise us, after all the gorgeous actress has amazed everyone with her versatile acting skills.

Anyways check out the complete list here and let us know if you agree with the jury’s decision or not.

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were on Saturday named Best Actors at the 18th edition of the IIFA Awards, for their remarkable work in ‘Udta Punjab’. Diljit Dosanjh also won the best debut actor male for the same film.

Both Shahid and Alia were emotional about winning the award for a film which made its way to the big screen after fighting the censor board, and let mainstream performers like them take up something risky.

Diljit too thanked his fans for support in a Twitter post.

“Love my fans. Guys this is all because of you. Thanks team IIFA and ‘Udta Punjab’,” he tweeted.

Katrina Kaif gave away the award to Shahid, while Varun Dhawan announced Alia as the Best Actor – Female at the event, held at the Metlife Stadium in New York.

The Best Picture honour went to ‘Neerja’, based on the real life story of Neerja Bhanot, an air hostess who lost her life while trying to save others on a hijacked flight at Karachi.
