But before making it this big, when he was a junior artiste, he was told that people would not cast him because they would need ‘extra light’ to makes him ‘visible’.

Despite all this, he proved that there was no stopping him. After almost a decade, he is now one of the most appreciated actors in the industry. The fame that he has received today is absolutely deserved.

Lately, the actor has been in the spotlight because of a racism fiasco.

And, recently in an interview with IANS, he spoke about his early days where he had to struggle to make ends meet, and how he represents the majority of Indian people with dark skin and how people call him unusual.

He said, “In those days, I used to work on a daily basis for television shows as a junior artiste. Because of my brown complexion, people used to say, We can’t take you… we have to put extra light to make you visible, you are dark and we don’t have time.’ Even after 12 years, nothing much has changed. People call me ‘unusual’. They say that a dark skinned man is too unusual to become a hero of a mainstream film.”

“In our country, a majority of the population have dark skin complexion. Even I have dark complexion, which means I represent the majority. I want to ask, how am I ‘unusual’ when I represent the maximum,” he added.

He also feels that the makers should make a film on the “existing hypocrisy of our society”.

“I know it might make many people uncomfortable to accept the truth, but cinema should be the mirror of our society,” he stated.

Good point, Nawaz! After all, why do we keep obsessing about colour when we ourselves have the same skin tone and the majority of people in India are born with this colour? When will we stop talking about colour and broaden our horizons?

Shah Rukh Khan is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ and recently visited Varanasi with the movie’s leading lady Anushka Sharma and Director Imtiyaz Ali. While, we have often seen SRK dance on the tunes of Bollywood songs and hum them as well, watching him sing a Bhojpuri number was definitely a shocking surprise for all of us. As expected, the crowd burst into cheers and hoots as he went on his knees and started singing ‘Lollypop Lagelu’ for Anushka Sharma. Priyanka Chopra is literally taking over Hollywood. There is not a single day when we don’t hear about what she’s up to.

And now she is in news in both parts of the world after she announced her collaboration with Madhuri Dixit for a comedy series based on dhak dhak girl’s life in the US.

One of the favorite parts of my job, is to be able to tell stories across genres, languages and to a varied audience.  Today I’m happy to share with you another step I’ve taken on that creative journey, in my role as a producer. This particular story is one of a few Hollywood projects that I am currently developing. The incredible Madhuri Dixit’s real life has been the inspiration behind Sri Rao’s amazing story, and I can’t wait to work with the both of them to see how this will pan out. Again, it’s unchartered territory for me, producing a show for American television but I’m blessed to have a great set of partners in Mark Gordon Company’s Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper, along with ABC Studios to develop and produce this very fun idea. PeeCee is literally doing everything possible. She is a brilliant actor, she can sing and now she is all geared up to produce her first American TV show as well. Looking at her we just wonder, if there is anything in this world that she can’t do?

Well, we ain’t the only one who feels smitten by her achievements. While many are obsessing over Priyanka’s achievements, YouTube sensation Mallika Dua is disappointed over the fact that no matter how much work you do, it is still nothing when compared to what our desi girl does.

When everyone was congratulating the ‘Baywatch’ actress for her upcoming venture, Mallika tweeted and wrote, “I feel exhausted, demotivated and overworked all the time. Then I see @priyankachopra and I feel like a chappal dipped in keechad.”

This Big Bang Theory Actor Is Really Interested In Working With Priyanka Chopra

Since the time Priyanka Chopra started working in Hollywood, the girl is in news for some or the other thing. Be it big or small, she always makes it to the headlines. We got to agree that she is loved by the Western media as much as we love her.

A couple of days ago she was all over news as she announced her collaboration with Bollywood dhak dhak girl Madhuri Dixit for a comedy series. 

One of the favorite parts of my job, is to be able to tell stories across genres, languages and to a varied audience.  Today I’m happy to share with you another step I’ve taken on that creative journey, in my role as a producer. This particular story is one of a few Hollywood projects that I am currently developing. The incredible Madhuri Dixit’s real life has been the inspiration behind Sri Rao’s amazing story, and I can’t wait to work with the both of them to see how this will pan out. Again, it’s unchartered territory for me, producing a show for American television but I’m blessed to have a great set of partners in Mark Gordon Company’s Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper, along with ABC Studios to develop and produce this very fun idea. For people who don’t know what we are talking about, she will be producing an American comedy series based on the life of Madhuri for ABC Studios. And the news has got many excited. After all, Madhuri has ruled the hearts of millions for a very long time.

The title of the show hasn’t been decided yet, but the show will revolve around how the gorgeous diva lived in the US when she shifted there after her wedding. The script will be written by Sri Rao who has also written the script for ‘General Hospital: Night Shift’. The serial will introduce us to that part of actress’s life that many of us are not even aware of and that’s the reason why people can’t wait to watch the show.

After Priyanka confirmed this news, everyone flooded her Twitter page with wishes. But what caught everyone’s attention was when ‘The Big Bang Theory’ star Kunal Nayyar tweeted approaching Priyanka for a role. Well, we ain’t joking—the actor is actually interested in working with her and he wrote: “In case you need a beautiful heroine @priyankachopra I’m available!”

This is just so amazing! Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Priyanka and Kunal could collaborate too?

Well, that might happen someday but for now, we are pretty excited about Madhuri and Desi girl working together and can’t wait to get a sneak peek into what the show will offer us.

If you haven’t noticed already, in the previous picture he was holding an 8 kg dumbbell in one hand and 10kg weight in the other and the internet isn’t a place where things go unnoticed easily. As expected, people were quick to notice this and started questioning him. Well, we don’t know about other celebs, but Zafar wasn’t someone to leave any room for confusion. So, he actually went ahead and gave an explanation for why he was using two different dumbbells and has won our hearts again.

The mystery to the 8 & 10 dumbbells? 🙂 Fractured my left wrist and elbow a few months back pushing me back to a point where I couldn’t even lift 2 kgs after my basic recovery. It was a long struggle to get to here with the support of my trainers. This technique is to balance the strength and size of the left arm with a slightly heavier weight. Gym buffs would know. So about time everybody hits the gym and live it up 😉
