Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan looked stunning as she turned showstopper for fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s show in Kenya. Dressed in white lehenga, corset and dupatta, Kareena looked fabulous as she walked the ramp for her BFF. Manish Malhotra, Bebo’s manager, Poonam Damania, make-up artist and stylist took to Instagram to share pictures from the fashion gala held in Nairobi. Take a look:

Kareena Kapoor Khan: Motherhood has not changed my work life

While some may thought that motherhood might have changed Kareena Kapoor Khan’s work life, the actress says that it hasn’t affected her professional life much. While giving an interview to a leading magazine, Filmfare, the 37-year-old actress, revealed that she has always been a family oriented person, so since the start of her career she has managed to balance between work and family.

She said, ‘My family is my priority. I am ambitious, but I’ve always had time for my family. For me, it’s not always like work, work, work, I think I have managed to balance between my professional life and personal life since the starting of my career.’ The actress was back fulfilling her professional commitments the very next month after having her son Taimur in December.

The ‘Ki & Ka’ star also shared that she and Saif now avoid late nights because she has to get up really early in the morning for his son Taimur. ‘My whole timing has changed and this is a big lifestyle change for me and Saif both,’ she added. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena is currently shooting for her upcoming film ‘Veere De Wedding’ that also stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar. Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, the flick is slated to release on May 18, 2018.

Sonam Kapoor trolled on Instagram for sunbathing in a bikini

Sonam Kapoor found herself being trolled on Wednesday evening after her sunbathing pic went viral. The actor is shooting in Phuket for ‘Veere Di Wedding’. Co-star Swara Bhaskar shared a video of the girl gang by the pool. Trolls had a field day passing comments about her bikini body, not that Sonam cares.

'Veere Di Wedding' first look has turned up the heat this October

We are already experiencing the October heat and the first teaser poster of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ has set temperatures soaring. In the poster we see all four leading ladies Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhaskar dressed up in traditional wear and yet are looking extremely sultry. Sonam is zipping her dress, Shikha is pleating Kareena’s saree and Swara is wearing her ‘mojri’. You can even catch a glimpse of Swara’s cryptic tattoo and it looks hot!

The cast and crew shared the first official image from the film that also revealed that the mahurat will be out tomorrow. The vibrant colours blending into the image and the stunning outfits donned by the leading ladies make this first glimpse a delightful one. Their posts have taken the internet by storm keeping the digital audience on the edge to find out what will be announced tomorrow. Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor’s ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is still on floors and the cast and crew just successfully wrapped their Delhi schedule. However, we are left wondering why Sonam has held a Japanese flag which hides Kareena’s face. Is there some mystery behind it? Is it a part of the film’s storyline? Who knows, once the trailer is out, people can gauge further into this ‘mystique aspect’ of the first look.

Actress Sonam Kapoor is livid over gossip around an alleged ‘cat fight’ on the sets of her film ‘Veere Di Wedding’, which features an ensemble of actresses including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Sonam’s reaction came following a ‘blind item’ posted by an entertainment portal.

In a Twitter post, Sonam wrote: “Dear websites, you can put out as many ‘blind items’ (aka gossip you were too lazy to fact-check) as you like pitting women against each other. It may get you clicks but it won’t be the truth. Must you insist on shoving this tired patriarchal concept of women cat fighting into our film (which is not about a road trip) as if grown, intelligent women have nothing better to do.

“We will continue to be actual friends and try and make a kick-ass movie and prove that women can work with each other, get along and have a blast. Because we can, we are and we will continue to. And on schedule. Please keep in mind how outdated, irresponsible, and harmful your narrative is and frustrating for a culture of women who actually want to work together. There is no place for it anymore. Sincerely, The cast and crew of ‘Veere Di Wedding’.”

Produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, the film’s first schedule was wrapped in Delhi. It is directed by Shashanka Ghosh. Sonam and Rhea’s father and veteran actor Anil Kapoor also shot down the gossip item. “Veeres stand together, through ‘blind stories’, false accusations and smear campaigns. That’s true friendship.”

Shikha Talsania, who is also starring in the film posted a video on Twitter, where we see Kareena and Sonam making fun of each other’s diets. We hear Rhea Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania in the background who are also pulling Sonam’s leg. Sonam is seen asking, “What do you want me to say?”, to which Swara replies, “What is your favorite dessert?”. Sonam replied, “It shouldn’t have calories.” Bebo joins in saying, “She shouldn’t eat desserts so she has just eaten a box of pringles.” Sonam then calls out Kareena for being ‘mean’ to her.

The film is being directed by Shashanka Ghosh and shot in Delhi and Bangkok. The film is based on a wedding and four women who embark upon a fun roadtrip. ‘Veerey Di Wedding’ will mark the comeback of Kareena Kapoor Khan on the silver screen after her maternity break. Kareena Kapoor Khan hits the gym for 10 hours a day for new look

within months of giving birth to Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, Kareena Kapoor Khan had already shed her post-pregnancy weight and was back to her svelte shape — just in time before her next, Veere Di Wedding, went on floors in September in Delhi. Now, mid-day has learnt that Kapoor is sporting two distinct looks in the Shashanka Ghosh-directed film — while certain portions see her in a voluptuous avatar, the first half will have her sporting a lean frame. The actor, we hear, is currently following a high-intensity workout regimen to drop a few more kilos to achieve the lean look. A unit hand reveals, “Kareena has been working out for nearly 10 hours a day over the last one week. A special Pilates machine has been set up for her in the Delhi hotel where the cast is put up, on which she works out for an hour every day.”

Kapoor has taken it upon herself to whip into shape before they start shooting the portions in question next week. The source adds, “There have been days when she has been on set for almost 14 hours and followed it up with a few hours of intense workout in the night. Even on her day off, she sweats it out at the gym.” While she has changed her workout regimen, the actor has been following the same low-calorie, high-nutrition diet that has been specially designed by her nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar.

A source close to the actor says, “Bebo has been sticking to the diet and the results are showing. At the recent Ambanis’ bash, she received many compliments for her toned body.”
