maxresdefault The much-awaited trailer of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ was launched in a grand manner in Mumbai where the cast and crew met and interacted with members of media. Shah Rukh Khan, who is overseas on a family vacation, graced the audience with his presence via video-conferencing.

The trailer sees the journey of Harry and Sejal who meet through sheer fate. What follows is a series of unfortunate events that paves way for their budding friendship and eventually love. In the search to find the love of his life, Harry falls head over heels in love with Sejal while the latter is hunting for her lost engagement ring.

For the first time in his 25-year-long career, although briefly in the film, Shah Rukh will be seen playing the role of a Sardar, while Anushka pulls off the Gujarati girl-next-door vibes well.

Interestingly in a recent interview, King Khan revealed that he wanted to work with Imtiaz Ali, who approached him for a dark film initially. But SRK wanted to do a happy film and asked Imtiaz if he had any other story. When Imtiaz said that he had a love story, SRK immediately gave his nod.

Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’ is directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is all set to release on August 4, 2017.

‘Guide’ Shah Rukh Khan is traversing across the country to promote his upcoming film ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. And wherever he goes, his fans plan elaborate fares for the Bollywood superstar.

SRK was recently in Rajasthan as part of his promotional tour and the locals made sure it was a memorable trip for him.

In Jaipur, Shah Rukh had a mouth-watering traditional Rajasthani thali to gorge on. The King Khan, who was presented a pagdi, enjoyed dal baati churma and many more delicacies.

He even had singers performing some of his iconic songs with a Rajasthani twist to it.

Later, SRK also got a Rajputana sword as a gift.

Talking about his experience, SRK said, “I had just heard of dal baati. It’s fantastic and really nice.”

On Friday, the 51-year-old star received an honorary membership of the Jodhpur Tourist guide Association in Jodhpur and the Superstar immediately took to his job and toured the Mehrangarh Fort in Rajasthan.

The actor was bestowed with an Honorary Membership by the Guide Association for his portrayal of a Guide in his upcoming film ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’. The Association was grateful as the superstar accepted the membership and visited them.

Shah Rukh, who was on a promotional tour for ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’ and was heading to Jaipur, made alterations to his plans to visit the Association in Jodhpur. The actor took his Membership quite seriously as he was immediately seen taking a tour of the Mehrangarh Fort in Rajasthan.

The actor took to his social media account to share moments from his tour, he said, “Taking my job as a guide seriously¿started with a tour of Mehrangarh Fort one of the largest in India. Khamma Ghani”.

The Superstar took no time to get into the skin of a Rajasthani Guide as he went on to visit one of the largest forts in Rajasthan donning a pagdi and greeting his tourists saying, ‘Khamma Ghani.’ The actor perfectly dissolved in Rajasthani flavour and proved to be a perfect host.

The actor posted about the same on his Twitter handle saying, “Ma Ma main Guide ban gaya (honorary) Jodhpur Tourism Guide Assoc Thx for making Harry a part of ur family.”

SRK would be bringing to celluloid the profession of Guide nearly after 52 years since the legendary actor Dev Anand’s iconic ‘Guide’.

Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming directorial venture would see Shah Rukh Khan aka Harry guiding Anushka Sharma aka Sejal through the picturesque locations of Europe.

Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’ is directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is all set to release on August 4th 2017.

Shahrukh Recently, Shah Rukh Khan, Imtiaz Ali and Anushka Sharma launched their second song “Beech beech Meina” which is a club song from their forthcoming film, in a club called Tamasha.

While speaking to the media, Shah Rukh revealed that he has not gone for clubbing much because back then he didn’t have money.

He said: “I haven’t gone for clubbing much. When I was in Delhi, that time I never used to have that much money to go into clubs and then I came here (Mumbai) to act in movies and became a star so I haven’t had much opportunity to go into clubs here as well. Whatever club hopping I have done is all because of Imtiaz while shooting for this film.”

Talking about the song “Beech Beech Mein”, he said: “‘Beech Beech Mein’ is a club song…this song comes when Harry and Sejal start celebrating in pubs, karaoke bars and night club with very few (friends) around them. It’s the couple partying. So our team thought that if we go to club or lounge to launch the song then it will be nice.”

“This song symbolizes the fact that there are times in a relationship when you are not certain about it. It’s somewhere in the middle without any conclusion so this whole song is like that and I feel people will relate to it,” Shah Rukh added.

Currently, Shah Rukh Khan, is gearing up for the release of his film “Jab Harry Met Sejal” and is leaving no stone unturned to promote it to the fullest.

The Sanskari Censor Board of Film Certification does it again! We woke up this Sunday only to hear how CBFC Chief Pahlaj Nihalani has a problem with the word “INTERCOURSE” in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming rom-com ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’.

Well, well…we ain’t surprised at all. Mr. Nihalani aces in erecting (he might have an issue with this word too) such problems that might not actually sound like one. We are a bunch of ‘sanskari’ people who actually do ‘intercourse’ but saying it loud offends tons of people!

Apparently, Indian parents are not in favour of their kids learning this word. However, in the case of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer, he is generous enough to say that he is ready to clear it only if he gets 1 lakh people voting in favour of the usage of the word.

In an interview on TV, he said, “You take voting from the public and I will clear the word on the promo and the film also. I want 1 lakh votes and I want to see that India has changed and Indian families want their 12-year-old kids to understand the meaning of this word.”

And just when we thought that a King Khan film can easily get those many votes, Nihalani decided to let the cat out of the bag! So these votes come with a condition!

No votes from unmarried and people below the age of 36, yes that’s the catch!

“Importantly, I will not settle for votes from unmarried people. And neither will I be satisfied if votes come from people who are less than 36 years old. Assuming that an average age when a man/woman gets married is 23, I think they would have a 12-year old child when they are 36. Hence I want the voting public to be at least 36 years old. Only then I will feel that India has broadened its outlook and I shall recommend to the government that the word ‘intercourse’ should be included in Jab Harry Met Sejal and any film hereafter,” he told Spotboye.

The makers of Anushka Sharma-SRK-starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal have come up with an innovative way to promote their movie. The team shot a video with film’s lead actor Shah Rukh Khan in which his character Harinder Singh Nehra aka Harry can be seen missing Sejal, the character played by Anushka Sharma.

The video starts with Jasbir Jassi’s famous song ‘Dil Lae Gayi Kudi Gujarat Di’. The video aims to find the all girls with the name Sejal. SRK will visit the city with the maximum number of girls named Sejal.

The 51-year-old actor shared the video on his Twitter handle and captioned it as, “Kithe hai kudi… Kithe hai meri Sejal? Aa raha hun dil waapas lene. Let me know your city: http://www.redchillies.com/sejal/#HarrySeekingSejal.”

Team Jab Harry met Sejal also plans to introduce one of the many “mini trails” from the film to sports and cinema lovers during the India Pakistan match Sunday afternoon.

Mini trails are a series of 30 second clips from the film, which will be released first as an introduction to what Jab Harry met Sejal team has in store to offer. The mini trails will serve as a build up to the songs of the film, and help communicate the essence of the love story.

Imtiaz Ali’s Jab Harry met Sejal traces the love story of a Punjabi guy played by Shah Rukh and a Gujarati girl essayed by Anushka.

shah-rukh-anushka As promised Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer is not going to walk down the beaten path for the promotions of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. The makers are releasing mini trailers that would give us a personal sneak peek into the lives of Harry and Sejal.

The first such short clip saw Shah Rukh’s character Harry tell Anushka’s character Sejal how he looked at women in a lecherous manner and the second one saw Sejal reading him the content of an indemnity bond in case the two do indulge in any ‘sexual interaction’ with each other.

While the two trails had raised enough curiosity for the film, the third one is also out now and perhaps is the most interesting one of the lot.

In the video, Harry seems extremely irritated in Sejal’s presence as he expresses his frustration in Punjabi, with the latter just looking at him helplessly.

While Harry is all Punjabi, Sejal is also seen calling him ‘A1 character’ in the typical Gujarati accent.

She also tells him she won’t leave without the ring, revealing perhaps why the film was tentatively titled ‘The Ring’ earlier.

The film helmed by Imtiaz Ali is one of its kind and sees two people from different worlds collide. The story revolves around their journey across Europe. The highlight of this trailer and the film is the search for Sejal’s engagement ring. Amidst so much drama, this is also the story of their new found freedom, security, solace, love and paying heed to the inner voice.

The Imtiaz Ali film is set to hit the screens on August 4, 2017.

Unlike the last mini trailer, Anushka is shown as a strong and confident girl, which she is, off-screen. She plays a Gujarati lawyer who knows how to keep trouble at bay. She issues an indemnity bond of “no sex” to King Khan who plays Harry in the romantic comedy.

The mini trailer gives mixed signals. There is a hint of intimacy but hilarity ensues when Sejal hands over the “no sex” indemnity to Harry. The confusion here makes all the fans extremely curious.

The mini trailer of the film is out and it has Shah Rukh playing a ‘cheap’ guy with a lose character, in his own words. SRK seems to be his usual witty brutally honest self that we so love. Anushka plays the role of a Gujarati girl Sejal Parikh while SRK is Harinder Singh Nehra, a tourist guide, known as Harry, of course.

This Harry is nothing like the coy simple-minded Surinder Sahni madly in love with his young wife Tani from ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. With SRK and Anushka playing the lead pair and Imtiaz Ali’s direction, we have no doubt this one’s going to be worth our money.

From Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt to Ranbir Kapoor, everyone gave suggestions for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film. Several reports stated that apparently the film was supposed to be titled The Ring and later the makers sealed the name Rehnumn. However, no one was happy with the titles.Finally, the makers chose Ranbir Kapoor’s suggested name and he just couldn’t contain his happiness when the title ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ made it to the posters.

When the name was officially announced, Ranbir said in an event that he was the one who suggested this title. “I suggested the title ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ to Shah Rukh Sir and Imtiaz Ali. But the sad part is that I had no idea about the reward, so Shah Rukh Sir, I am coming to Mannat (SRK’s residence), keep the Rs 5000 ready in cash!” he said. “To be honest I was shooting at Mehboob Studio, where Shah Rukh Sir, Imtiaz Ali and Anushka were also shooting. We all were sitting in a van together and discussing various options for the title of the film, and I suggested this title Jab Harry Met Sejal, everybody laughed at me for the ‘bakwas’ title I had suggested. Today they have used my title, and I am very happy that I could be a small part of this film. It is by far the most exciting actor-director duo, Shah Rukh Sir and Imtiaz Ali is my favourite duo as a fan and as an audience. Pritam is in this film, Anushka is in this film, and I am happy even I am a part of this film,” RK added.

However, now finally King Khan has finally settled his debt with Ranbir Kapoor. ‘Hisaab barabar’, as he called it and paid him Rs 5000 ‘in cash’ as RK demanded.SRK took to Twitter and shared a photo handing cash to Ranbir.
