As Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming crime-biopic ‘Haseena Parkar’ gears up for release, Apoorva Lakhia reveals some behind the scenes incidents that took place on the sets of the film. While Shraddha plays the titular role of ‘Haseena’, her real life brother brother Siddhanth Kapoor will play her reel-life brother, Dawood Ibrahim. Since, the movie is an intense thriller, the mood on the sets of the film was intense as well. Even if there was no shooting, the people on the sets used to be serious. Apoorva realised the people needed to have a good-time as well and hence decided to organise a cricket match for the cast and crew.
Siddhant Kapoor being a good cricketer decided to play, even Shraddha was not a part of this match. However, she indirectly ended up becoming a part of it. When Siddhanth hit the ball, it unfortunately hit the car window of Shraddha’s favourite ca and smashed it. Her mercedes benz!Everyone thought that Shraddha would be angry, but she did not mind it all and director Apoorva Lakhia seems to think it is because her car was insured.
‘Haseena Parkar’ will hit the screens on September 22.

Haseena Parkar is an Indian biographical crime film directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Nahid Khan. The film was initially named “Haseena: Queen Of Mumbai”. The principal photography of the film began in February 2016 and the shooting started on 11 October 2016.The film is based on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar. The film marks Shraddha Kapoor’s first female protagonist venture as she is essaying the title role.Kapoor’s real brother, Siddhanth Kapoor portrays the role of Dawood Ibrahim, and Ankur Bhatia plays the role of Haseena’s husband.
