National Award-winning choreographer Chinni Prakash made his foray into the small screen. He has choreographed the title track of an upcoming show, Porus.
The dance sequence will depict 350 BC India. It features over 1,000 dancers, 100 sitar players, 200 dhol players, over 500 Bharatanatyam dancers and 150 Kalaripayattu artistes.
“India is known for larger-than-life celebrations. The dance sequence opens with approximately 2,000 dancers. The sequence was shot on the set in Umbergaon, Gujarat,” says Prakash.
