After reading ‘Ram Kapoor is desi Harvey Weinstein?’ (Hitlist, October 18), producer-director Shailendra Singh received a call from filmmaker Prakash Jha.
He told Singh to drop the idea of casting Kapoor in his film, Casting Couch Ouch, and instead consider him for the character modelled on the tainted Hollywood producer.
Jha said he was bored and was willing to start shooting immediately. Was he joking or serious?
