I think you all will unanimously agree with me that the ending of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ was one of the most emotional and heartbreaking scenes in the entire movie. With almost half of the MCU fading away into dust and the remaining fighting it out with Thanos with all their might; even the toughest of us pretended to have something in our eyes just to hide those tears.
While most superheroes were vanishing into thin air, there were only a few who got to say their share of parting words and that was all it took to blow our minds away.

Of all the superheroes that disintegrated, it was Spider-Man aka Peter Parker who won our hearts in literally a time-frame of 5 seconds. FYI that scene and that tear-jerking line ‘I don’t feel so good Mr. Stark, I am sorry’ was completely improvised by Tom Holland.
If that scene and the climax of the movie is still fresh in your memory, then chances are that you will feel more miserable when you get to know the meaning behind Groot’s last words to Rocket. Recently, a fan asked James Gunn, the director of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ what were Groot’s last words.
@JamesGunn Might be too soon to ask this, but do you know what Groot’s last line is at the end of the movie?

Do you want to hear what Gunn said? Are you sure you are ready for this spoiler? Okay. Well, this is what he told Rocket…’Dad’.

“Dad”
— James Gunn (@JamesGunn) May 6, 2018
Groot was with Rocket when he started fading and as he vanished he said, “I am Groot” and all of us were left on our own to fill the blanks of what he was trying to say to Rocket. And now that Gunn has revealed it, fans couldn’t help but go into a meltdown and these tweets are proof of how crushed they are right now.

That Groot and Rocket shit devastated my heart and soul. I have NEVER imagined a time where a talking tree calling a talking raccoon dad would be this much, unironically, sad. Marvel what have you done to us.
