Speaking about her love to play a negative role, the actress in a conversation with film critics Anupama Chopra and Rajeev Masand in their podcast show titled as Take 2, said that, “I’m dying to play a villain! I would love to play a villain. Gone Girl is totally me! When I saw Gone Girl I was like please can somebody make this film for me. I called up my friend Abhishek and said listen can you please forget what you’re writing just write this gone girl and make it right now! It’s a killer part. How amazing is it to play something that is so completely off, we only can do it in the movies.”
Would you like to see the actress as Villain?
On the work front, Alia recently wrapped up for the shooting of her upcoming film, Raaz opposite Vicky Kaushal. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced under Dharma Productions and Junglee Pictures the film is set for May 2018 release.
Apart from this, she has will also be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which will hit the theatres on August 15, 2019.
