Fight Between Kapil Sharma & 'Gutthi' Is The Year's Most Savage Twitter Battle So Far

Me: ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ are the best shows.
Well, I am sure I am not the only one who feels the same way. If your late night plans on weekends include sitting in front of your TV sets and waiting for Kapil Sharma to roast his guests and people from the audience, you will know what I am talking about.

However, it wasn’t just Kapil Sharma’s comedy that made us fall in love with the show. ‘Gutthi’ aka Sunil Grover was one who stole our hearts like no one else with his funny gigs and hilarious introduction style.

And while we laughed our hearts out watching the two bicker on screen, their real life fight took us by storm because it was far from being funny or even mildly amusing. Almost everyone is aware of the fight that took place mid-air, between the two when they were coming back to Mumbai. Many stars left the show, some came back but the damage was already done and the show went off air citing bad ratings.
Since then things have not been normal between the two and while we were hoping for the two to become friends again, things escalated way too quickly after Kapil announced his comeback with a new show on the same channel. Honestly, no episode from ‘Bigg Boss’ can ever come close to this fight.
After a failed attempt at impressing people with ‘Firangi’, Kapil is all set to begin his new show ‘Family Time With Kapil Sharma’ and while we expecting ‘Gutthi’ or ‘Dr. Mashhoor Gulati’ to tickle our funny bones, looks like he wasn’t given the offer.

When someone asked him to come back on the show, he wrote on Twitter, “Bhai aap jaise kuch aur log bhi mujhse same poochte hain. Lekin mujhe iss show ke liye KOI call nahin aaya. Mera phone number bhi same hai. Intezar kar Ke ab maine kuch aur sign kar liya kal. Aap logon ki duaon se ek achhe project Ke sath juda hoon. Jaldi aapke samne Aata hoon.”

As expected, this tweet did not go down well with Kapil and he replied to Sunil saying that he called him 100 times and even went to his house, but he wasn’t there. In fact, Kapil went on to say that Sunil should stop spreading rumours.

Soon, a twitter battle started between two of the greatest comedians of India and their respective fans. Kapil even went on to say that Sunil is lying and that he will not let anybody take any advantage of his name.

But, Sunil hit the last nail by responding to Kapil Sharma’s tweets. He wrote a long message stating how he is talking about the new show and stood firm on the fact that he wasn’t called for it. He further asked him to take care of his health, “Kidney 2 aur liver 1 hee hai. Take care of your health.” We don’t know if it was genuine or a jibe at his drinking habits, but things will only worsen from here on.

We don’t think this fight is going to end anytime soon. As for Kapil’s new show, he has already roped in Ajay Devgn for the first episode, now only time will tell whether this fight or Sunil’s absence affects his show or not.
