When it comes to filming action movies, it’s nothing new for the actors to have a stunt double. However, there are some actors who prefer to put their own lives at stake and perform certain dangerous stunts on their own. Probably this is what makes us fall for them over and over again. 

One such actor is Hollywood’s heartthrob Tom Cruise. Honestly, we will totally believe that Cruise is a vampire (and quite a handsome one at that), if someone claimed him to be. Or the actor is secretly sipping from some magical anti-ageing potion. The point is, even at 55, this man can easily give any actor half his age a run for his money and we guess we’re going to say this even after 20 years.

Cruise is possibly the only actor in Hollywood, who can perform extremely dangerous big-ticket stunts and then walk away like it’s nobody’s business. However, things turned nasty when the actor crashed into a wall and got injured during a stunt where he was trying to jump from one building to another. It was because of that injury that the makers had to halt the shoot for several months.

Well, now the actor is back with a bang and these pictures of him performing stunts in London is proof why he deserves all the respect in this world. Londoners were in for a surprise on Sunday and traffic was reportedly brought to a standstill, when they saw a helicopter flying over the Blackfriars Bridge and a man in black running along the rooftop of the bridge. That man is none other than Tom Cruise and these pictures will surely fill you up with jealousy and make you want to move to London already.

Now that we got our hands on these pictures, we honestly can’t wait for the sixth installment of ‘Mission Impossible’ to release and watch Ethan Hunt in all his glory as the badass IMF Agent Hollywood has ever seen.

But, for me, the stunts and Cruise aren’t the only reasons to watch ‘Mission: Impossible 6’. Honestly, we are dying to see Henry Cavill and his ubercool mustache, which cost Warner Bros. $25 million to digitally remove it for ‘Justice League’. 

Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the movie also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, Michelle Monaghan and Sean Harris.

While, travelling to London to get a glimpse of Cruise will be a bit too much, let’s just settle for gorging on these pictures, before the movie hits the theatres on July 27. 

2017 was undoubtedly a great year for Rajkummar Rao. Rao not only proved that he is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, but also showed the world that he is here for the long run. From ‘Newton’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’, to ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ and ‘Bose’; Rao literally ruled the box-office this year with his back to back brilliant performances.

And he completely deserves all the awards and respect in the world because this man works really hard and gives his all to the movies he works on. Earlier this year, he posted his transformation pictures on Instagram, which proves that things were never easy for him and that he has achieved all this only and only through hard work and dedication.

After impressing us with his exceptional performances, Rao is back to make 2018 scarier for us with his upcoming horror-comedy flick alongside Shraddha Kapoor. The movie is directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. For quite some time, reports of Rajkummar and Shraddha featuring together in a movie were making rounds. The news was further confirmed when Shraddha posted a picture of her with Rajkummar Rao, teasing us about the movie.

Well, guess what, now the movie has a name and the title is completely unexpected yet intriguing. Rajkummar revealed the title of the movie on Twitter and announced that shoot has already started for the movie. The title of the movie is ‘Stree’.

Apart from ‘Stree’, Shraddha will also star opposite our beloved Baahubali Prabhas in the upcoming thriller ‘Saaho’. She will also work next to Shahid Kapoor in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’. As for Rajkummar, he will be seen in ‘Fanne Khan’ alongside Aishwarya Rai and Anil Kapoor.

Despite completing almost 24 years, it feels like only yesterday that a bunch of ‘Friends’ (Rachel, Joey, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe) came into our lives and showed us what true friendship means. 

They also gave us a reason to burn with jealousy over their perfectly imperfect lives and how they managed to be with each other through thick and thin, in their luxurious apartments that we still don’t know how they got in the first place (since everyone was struggling with their jobs in most part of the show.) Yes, we are talking about our beloved sit-com ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’.

I have seen every episode of the show a thousand times already, yet each time the song ‘I’ll be there for you’ plays on the TV, no matter which corner of the home I am in, I rush to go and watch the show. The point is, ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ will always have a special place in our hearts and we don’t think there’s any other show or bunch of characters that can leave such an impact on our minds.

Having said that, we don’t think we are the only ones who think this way. According to Ranker https://www.ranker.com/crowdranked-list/the-greatest-sitcoms-in-television-history, ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ has been crowned as the greatest sitcom of all time and we feel it rightly deserves this accolade. And with this, it has left behind shows like ‘The Simpsons’, ‘The Big Bang Theory’, ‘How I Met Your Mother’, ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, and ‘Seinfeld’ to name a few.

This is not the only list and we are sure it won’t be the last to rank ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ as the number one show. Earlier, in a list released by IMDb, the show ruled the first spot in ‘The 30 Greatest Sitcoms of All Time’. These lists are proof that ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ rules our hearts like no one else and we don’t think there can ever be a show that will enjoy such cult status, although we hope to see such great shows real soon.

The show ran for a decade (1994-2004), the actors went home with huge paychecks by the end of the last season and the characters got their own happy ending. But, what stayed with us were the memories, which are still fresh in our minds like it happened yesterday.

Be it Ross’ hilarious ordeals with his lesbian wife and her girlfriend, Chandler’s annoying ex Janice, Phoebe’s insane songs, Monica and Chandler’s amazing love story, Joey’s love for food or the friends taking turns to ogle at the Ugly Naked guy; we don’t think we can get over this show ever, no matter how old we get.

As we remember all those happy memories, let’s listen to our favourite theme song of ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’…again!

I know you will be tired by now since I am going to say this for the nth time that superheroes, jedis, ghosts and deadly clowns owned Hollywood for most of 2017. However, I forgot to mention one show that has been ruling our hearts ever since its first season premiered in April, 2011. This show made us fall in love with gore and dragons, and actually deal with the concept of incest like no one else. Yes, we are talking about our beloved show ‘Game of Thrones’. GOT’s insane popularity is evident that people across the globe not only love it, but also eagerly wait for every teeny tiny update about the show, its release date and actors.

However, not every revelation is as good as the rest of the information and you guys will know this by now, given that we braved all the spoilers, script leaks, hacks and are now all set to welcome the final season of the show. 

But, before we venture into the next season, we have come across this one particular piece of information that will give you sleepless nights, not because it’s scary but because it’s super creepy to imagine.

We all loved Daenerys’ dragon babies and watching them grow and turn into beasts was definitely a visual treat for all the GOT fans. Every time the dragons roared on screen, our hearts shuddered a little in fear. But, after the show’s sound designer Paula Fairfield revealed how that noise was made, we don’t know if we should fear them or laugh at this recent revelation.

Fairfield, in an interview with WNYC radio show Radiolab, said that Drogon’s purr or voice was actually the groan of a pair of giant tortoises mating.

‘I have sounds I might choose simply by certain personality traits that I might want to push forward. She named that dragon after Khal Drogo, her hot late husband, so Drogon is like her lover. He’s whistling at her all the time, he’s whistling at her butt and saying, ‘Ooh baby.’” 

In fact, Fairfield also feels that giving these mythical creatures some distinctive voices will make them empathic to the audience. Which is why, every dragon has different voices and personalities.
