When we are trapped in a difficult spot, we have two options to choose from – do or die. But for Jennifer Lawrence, it’s either “die or become a sparrow”.

Jennifer Lawrence is undoubtedly one of the most versatile and commendable actresses in Hollywood. From ‘Passenger’, ‘The Hunger Games’ series, ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ to the ‘X-Men series’ and the recently released ‘Mother!’; Lawrence has proved her mettle with each movie and gave us a sneak-peek into the various challenging roles she will be taking up in her upcoming movies.

Last year or should we say a few months back, Lawrence teased us with her badass Russian spy avatar for her upcoming movie ‘Red Sparrow’.

Our jaws literally dropped to the floor when we saw her mercilessly strangling a man in the teaser, and now that its full length trailer has been released, one can only imagine how difficult it is for us to contain our excitement.

‘Red Sparrow’ is a story about a Russian ballerina, Domonika Egorova, who transforms into a dangerous assassin who uses her skills to seduce, manipulate and kill her targets. On one hand where we were starting to fall in love with Dominika, we realize that there’s someone who has actually ‘been there, done that’ and even went on to become one of the most popular Avengers in the Marvel universe.

If you are a true Marvel fan, you will know who we are talking about – Black Widow aka Natasha Romanova. We understand, it’s unfair to draw comparisons between the two, but when we have characters that resembles so strongly with each other, one can’t help but think of this movie as a ‘Black Widow’ spinoff that we always wished for.

Although we loved Scarlett Johansson as Natasha, after watching Lawrence’s badass avatar; our faith is wavering a little bit.

i can’t believe we’re getting the red room origin story of black widow….but for some reason with jennifer lawrence?

i love jlaw but idk if she has this particular range

WRITER 1: What can we title this so nobody suspects it’s just a Black Widow knock-off?

WRITER 2: … Red… Sparrow?

‘Red Sparrow’ is releasing on March 2, 2018 and will also feature Joel Edgerton, Jeremy Irons, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Charlotte Rampling. Honestly, we feel it will take immense discipline and agent-like skills to be patient and wait for this movie to release.

When Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) decided to make Spider-Man part of their world, people just couldn’t stop talking about it. It came as a surprise to many when Marvel announced that Tom Holland was replacing Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. Fans wondered if Tom could do justice with the character that is loved by millions. And finally, we got a glimpse of Marvel’s Spiderman in ‘Captain America: Civil War’.

People loved the film and couldn’t stop raving about MCU’s way of representing Spider-Man. Tom going head to head with major Superheroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye and more was a treat to watch. In fact, critics applauded Tom for his acting skills and style.

And now after Captain America, Tom is all set to entertain us in his film ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. Joining him is Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) as the ‘Coolest Mentor Ever’.

Few seconds into the clip, we see Tony saying, “I think with a little bit more mentoring, you’ll be a real asset to the team.”

Robert shares how Tony in the film is looking for Peter Parker. “Tony is keeping a real close eye on him and making sure that he is a worthy recruit for the Avengers. He’s quite gifted and a very talented guy. Peter Parker is constantly learning throughout the movie and he is trying to prove himself to Tony that he is ready to be an Avenger. He is old enough to take on bigger tasks. I saw that relationship like a big brother relationship,” shares Tom.

Well, no doubt Iron Man is the best mentor one can get. Wondering what is Iron Man’s advice for Spider-Man? Well being his best he says, “Don’t do anything, I would do. And definitely, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. There’s a little grey area in there and that’s where you operate.”

Looking at the clip, we just can’t wait to see Iron Man and Spider-Man together. The film ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is set to release on July 7.
