Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow in ‘Game of Thrones’ and has already died once in the show, played a nasty ass prank on Rose Leslie, his Wilding girlfriend on-screen and his fiancée in real life.

Talking on the ‘Jonathan Ross Show’, Kit revealed the cruel April Fool’s Day prank he had played on Rose. He had placed a replica of his own head, severed and bloodied, in the fridge of their home. As an unsuspecting Rose opened the fridge door, she screamed in horror at the sight of the head.

You may have acted in a show full of blood and violence, but nothing prepares you well enough for the sight of your boyfriend’s bloody head in your fridge. Rose nearly faints with the shock and collapses on the floor in the video.

Kit reveals, ‘It didn’t go down well. She pretty much told me if I did it ever again that would be it – and I think that’s marriage included.” Of course, it would be it. That’s too much of GOT for a lifetime, Jon Snow.

Well, turns out the GOT stars are distant relatives! On their respective Wikipedia pages, it is mentioned that Kit’s 8th great grandfather was none other than Charles II of England, and Rose’s mother is a distant descendant of Charles II England too.

The first trailer of the third and last film in the young-adult sci-fi ‘Maze Runner’ series is out. With Dylan O’Brien as Thomas in the lead role, ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ takes you into the most dangerous labyrinth which is Last City. Thomas and his fellow Gladers must chart the dark depths of the maze in order to get to the truth about the cure that can potentially save many lives.

The movie is directed by Wes Ball and is scheduled to release on 26 January, 2018. It was originally supposed to release in February this year but it was delayed when Dylan was grievously injured on set and had to recover fully before resuming shoot.

The film also features Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Giancarlo Esposito from ‘Breaking Bad’, and Aidan Gillen who plays Littlefinger in ‘Game of Thrones’. The action sequences resemble classic nineties action replete with train sequences and gun fights.

Death Cure is a sequel ‘Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’ which itself was a sequel to ‘The Maze Runner’. The films are based on the ‘The Maze Runner’ book series written by James Dashner. The first two films were a box office success, raking in $348.32 million and $312.33 million respectively.

HBO Is Looking For Young People To Act In Season 8 Of 'Game Of Thrones'

The shooting for season 8 of ‘Game of Thrones’ starts on 17 November 2017 and preparations are on in full swing. Last week we told you how fans spotted a prop that looks like a Dothraki hut at Titanic Studios in Belfast, where many GOT scenes are filmed. From locations to sets to visual effects, it is believed the team is going all out to prepare for the last season of the epic show.

And now, to the delight of fans, it has been reported that HBO is looking for actors to play new characters in season 8. According to ‘Watchers on the Wall’, HBO is looking for a young boy and girl for the next season.

The girl would be required to play a character aged around 8, so actors between 8-10 would ideally be considered for the role. The character is a Northern girl who is fearless and outspoken. The role description specifies her as a “strong-minded young girl with a fighting spirit.” Right now, the only such girl on the show we can think of is Lyanna Mormont.

The boy’s character too is aged between 8-12 and is someone with a sharp personality and agile body language. The character comes from a poor background and is required to “completely own the scenes that he appears in”, Watchers on the Wall reports. Could it be a young Varys? When he was a child, he was kidnapped by a wizard and left to fend for himself on the streets.

Considering that the producers wouldn’t be introducing anyone insignificant at this stage, these two characters wouldn’t be having minor roles, we are guessing. Since flashbacks explaining back stories are expected in the next season, these two could also be the young versions of major characters. The girl, for example, could very well be Lyanna Stark, a spirited young woman of the Stark household who falls in love with Rhaegar Targaryen.

The boy, on the other hand, couldn’t be a recognized heir from either of the major houses, since his character hails from a poor background.

Well, we can only speculate what the roles might be, but if you have young friends in the UK who love to act, share the news with them! Who knows you might just get a free pass to visit the sets of GOT!

Former Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani has turned distributer for ‘Julie 2′, a thriller directed by Deepak Shivdasani. The film is a sequel to the 2004 film ‘Julie’ which Wikipedia describes as an ‘erotic film’. The man who denied a clearance to ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ for being too ‘lady oriented’ among other things is presenting a film whose tagline is ‘Bold, beautiful, blessed’.

Nihalani, whose censor axe fell down heavily on a lot many films, now believes his film ‘Julie 2′ should get an ‘A’ certificate and be cleared without any cuts. “Julie 2′ should be given an ‘A’ certificate without any cuts. There is no vulgarity, obscenity or even a language problem,” Nihalani told Mumbai Mirror.

Actor Who Plays Jaime Lannister Wants To Warn Us About A Real-Life Threat As Grim As The White Walkers

Just like the White Walkers, there is a real-life danger approaching our 7 continents. And just like most people in Westeros who refused to take Jon Snow’s warning about the White Walkers seriously, we too have been shrugging the threat of Global Warming for far too long now. In ‘Game of Thrones’, it costs them a dragon but in real life, it will cost much more.

Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who plays Jaime Lannister on the show has actually taken up a Jon Snow-like mission to the North to bring us face to face with what we could lose. He wants to show us how Global Warming is catching onto us and has had a huge impact on Greenland.

The actor who hails from Denmark considers Greenland his second home. Reminiscing about the beautiful place he grew up in, Nikolaj talks about how he wants his children to see the place exactly as he saw it.

And so, he paired up with Google Maps and collected the street view of Greenland to show the beauty of the land and its people, and the need to protect this natural wilderness which is one of the most beautiful and pristine places on the earth.

Nikolaj has recently been appointed as a UNDP goodwill ambassador. He says, “Statistics, scientific reports and graphs can be bewildering, but I hope seeing these images will help people understand the drastic changes taking place in Greenland, and inspire you to fall in love with it the way I have.”

Nikolaj points out in the video: “One of the best places in the world to see what [climate change] means is in Greenland, because the glaciers are melting at an alarming rate. The ice sheet is melting at an increased pace — pouring 300 billion tons of ice into the ocean each year. This melting harms important coastal ecosystems, local food and water supplies and is a major contribution to rising sea levels. Unless we change these climate trends, the next time we bring the trekker to Greenland the landscape may be unrecognisable from the one you see today.”
