Right from the first Season of ‘How I Met Your Mother’, Marshall Eriksen made it to the top of the list of my all-time favourite sitcom characters. The fact that he was literally always there for his gang, irrespective of his situation, made his character so warm and amazing.

via GIPHY

From his plain, adorable goofiness to his inexplicable yet wonderful devotion to one single woman for his entire life, Marshall was the example of a perfect man and a perfect friend. Plus his weird sense of humour was always on point, which made me laugh until I choked!

via GIPHY

Now, unfortunately I don’t have such a person in my life, but damn it would be good to have a bro like him to chill with.

via GIPHY

So, here I have listed 10 reasons why I reckon we all need a buddy like the wonderful Marshall Eriksen in our sad and miserable lives.

1. He’ll Literally Lose His Shit If You Are On The Wrong Track

2. He’ll Show You The Real Meaning Of Finding Love & Staying True To It

3. He Will Be Strong For You When You Can’t

4. He’ll Never Say No To A Junk Food Trip Unlike Your Health Freak Buddies

5. He Will Literally Beat The Crap Out Of Anyone If They Hurt You

6. He Is Not Afraid To Hurt Your Feelings When You Need A Reality Check

7. He Will Remind You The Importance Of Small Things In Life

‘The Big Bang Theory’ is one of my favourite shows, simply because it has some of the best characters and, of course, the one and only Sheldon Cooper. But just like any other sitcom out there, this one too has some rotten apples and there is one character in particular who makes me want to kill myself.

via GIPHY

I really did not have a problem with Penny in the beginning of the show. I mean she was the cute girl-next-door with a big heart, and seemed to be perfect for the shy and adorable Leonard Hofstadter.

via GIPHY

Then suddenly I got the feeling that Penny was getting too much power. Sure, when you are a hot chick surrounded by four nerds who clearly adore you, it must be a good feeling. But then the way she began to lord herself over the guys and constantly kept picking on them, their hobbies and interests, it did not sit well with me.

via GIPHY

Sure, it was fun watching Leonard woo Penny and try to get into a relationship with her, and I was even happy when they got together. But, oh God, what followed next was nothing short of painful and cringey. Watching Penny toss poor Leonard around her tune was just sad. I couldn’t see the ‘cuteness’ anymore, and Kaley Cuoco’s character started to piss me off like anything.

via GIPHY

Needless to say, watching Leonard lose himself and his self-respect was not an easy sight. Somehow, Penny made it look like a hot woman could get away with anything, and that was just wrong. Instead of being supportive, she made it look like she was doing Leonard a huge favour by being his girlfriend.

via GIPHY

So I have compiled 10 reasons why I feel that Penny is literally the worst girlfriend I have ever seen among sitcoms:

1. She Treated Leonard Like A Downright Dispensable Object

via GIPHY

2. She Never Respected Leonard’s Interests & Always Made A Point To Mock Him

via GIPHY

3. Leonard Was Constantly Under The Fear That She Would Break Up With Him

via GIPHY

4. She Continuously Kept Putting Leonard Down

via GIPHY

5. She Never Gave A Damn About Leonard’s Job & Took Him For Granted

via GIPHY

6. She Knew She Could Get Away With Practically Anything When It Came To Leonard

via GIPHY

7. She Always Kept Leonard Hanging Around & Ensured He Was On Her Hook

via GIPHY

8. At One Point She Even Bragged About Making More Money Than Leonard, Completely Forgetting What He Did For Her In The Past

via GIPHY

9. Kept Making Leonard Go Out Of His Comfort Zone, But Had Problems When It Was Vice Versa

via GIPHY

10. Used Her ‘Hotness’ To Get Her Way As If That’s The Only Thing A Woman Has In Her Arsenal

Spewing theories and speculating the ‘real meaning’ behind certain scenes is second nature to ‘Game of Thrones’ fans. So obviously, when this scene happened right in Season 1, besides tears and heartbreak, there was also an avalanche of conjectures and suddenly everyone was frikkin’ Sherlock Holmes.

via GIPHY

Unless you are one those who read the books, no one saw this scene coming. The mighty Ned Stark losing his head just like that because of a spoiled, psycho brat? It was preposterous. But it happened nevertheless and everyone felt like their hearts had been ripped out from their mouths.

This Is What Ned Stark Whispered Before His Beheading© Arya Sansa

But then, those with eagle eyes spotted something–something that could have massive significance, something that could change the course for many major characters.

via GIPHY

That’s right. Ned mutters something to himself, which later sparked a row of speculations. Some believe he said “I kept my promise” in reference to Jon Snow’s lineage, while some are absolutely convinced that it was “Valar Morgulis”. Regardless, everyone was sure that those last words had tectonic, earth-shattering implications.

via GIPHY

So, in a recent interview, Sean Bean, who played Eddard Stark finally revealed what his last words were and boy, do we feel stupid for coming up with those incredible theories! So brace yourself and read ahead.

“I couldn’t be too specific, because I don’t know if religion [like that] was around in those days, whatever they were. I just thought, “What would you do if this were really gonna happen?” You probably would pray. You probably would murmur some words and you’d keep it quiet. You’d keep it to yourself.”

via GIPHY

WTF! Praying? He was only praying?? No special last message, no secret code, no answer to a mysterious question? The poor guy was only praying before the blade sliced his neck! Clearly, Sean empathised with the fans, who were bound for a rude shock after this revelation and he tried to pacify them.

“It’s quite subtle in that many people wouldn’t pick it up. It was an interesting thing to do for me at that point. There’s not much you can do really, you’ve got your head on a block. That’s about the only thing you can do is murmur,” he said.

via GIPHY

So, I guess now this serves as a lesson in not going overboard with our imagination when it comes to theories and speculation. Fine Ned, we learnt our lesson! Thanks!

But wait a minute…which God was he praying to? Old Gods? The New Gods? Lord Light? Or some other force of nature? Great, here we go again. Sorry Ned, some things will never change.

Okay. So I have seen ‘Black Panther’ twice in one week and am STILL tripping over how badass and afro-tastic the entire movie was! So forgive me for acting like an insane fangirl in certain parts of this article.

Now before we jump into it, my very good friend Tom Hiddleston has a lovely message for you all, so please read it first & proceed with caution.

If I see one whining moron saying “you should have warned us” in the comment section after this, then I swear to Bast. Honestly, if you STILL have not seen this movie, then I’m judging y’all so damn hard.

Now, ‘Lion King’ is one of the first Disney movies I ever saw. And mind you, I was in 3rd grade or something and this was back in 1997, so popping a cassette into a VCR and watching a movie on the telly was a pretty damn big deal for a kid at the time.

Anyway, the second I heard the Zulu chant in the ‘Circle of Life’, I remember every hair on my body was on its end. A teeny tiny sneezing Simba walked into my heart with his widdle baby paws & when Rafiki just lifted him like that over Pride Rock….oh God…

Simba’s relation with his majestic and handsome AF dad Mufasa was something I totally related too. Me and my old man share the same playful, love-filled bond and he always helps me in a tight spot. So you can imagine how my world crashed when Mufasa died horribly like that in a stampede by a herd of stupid Wildebeests, all because of *&%**#@$ Scar. But, what killed me the most is what happened next…

Guys, I’m tearing up right now…

What the hell, make it stop!

Now, remember the scene back from ‘Civil War’ when T’Challa cradled his dead father in his arms, after the attack on the UN? See any similarities?

Man the parallels are too much looking back at the death of T’Challa’s father on Civil War & Mufasa on Lion King. 😭#BlackPanther pic.twitter.com/piskpDvSed

— UrbanNoize2 (@UrbanNoize2) October 16, 2017

Simba and Mufasa shared the ultimate father-son relationship even after his death. So much so, that during a particularly low point in his life, Simba even spoke to Mufasa/Mufasa’s spirit thanks to Rafiki.

So, when a similar scene popped up in ‘Black Panther’ not once, but twice, it was such a throwback. A newly crowned T’Challa, after a Wakandan ritual, is transported to the ancestral planes with the help of his uncle Zuri, where he meets his father (who by the way transforms him from a panther into a human! (Yaas).

“Remember who you are.” The Black Panther and Lion King parallel. Wow. #BlackPanther pic.twitter.com/Zn3VPa2YS6

— UrbanNoize2 (@UrbanNoize2) October 16, 2017

They have a tender moment where T’Challa breaks down saying how he misses his father. Also, the music at that moment was so similar to the one from ‘Lion King’, I couldn’t help but make the connection.

A Scene In 'Black Panther' Looked Straight Out Of 'Lion King' & The 90s Kid In Me Screamed

The next scene where I saw a striking similarity with ‘Lion King’ involved Eric Killmonger. Yes, the badass rival of the Black Panther, who also turns out to be his long lost cousin.

So after an epic battle which ends with Eric getting stabbed by T’Challa, the cousins somehow seem to make their peace and end up watching a beautiful Wakandan sunset. And the first thing that came to my mind was…

The resemblance between the two scenes was so damn uncanny that I was thrown aback. Anyway, it was a welcome rush of memories. So watch out for these parallels when you watch this movie.

Also, I’m seriously considering watching ‘Black Panther’ for a third time in the hall. WHAT? I loved it, okay? Deal with it!

Also, I’m in love with General Okoye. This woman can throw her wig at me and crack my head open with a spear aaaaaaanytime she wants…sigh!

Rupert Grint’s recent confession has hit Potterheads like an iron saucepan on the face. It is indeed tragic to hear our very own Ron Weasley say that he can’t enjoy the ‘Harry Potter’ movies anymore.

via GIPHY

Now, before you fly off the handle and start setting things on fire, this is why he said what he said. It may come to you as shocking, but the man has a good reason.

via GIPHY

“I think being in things ruins them for me. I can’t enjoy Harry Potter anymore, not as a fan — it’s just not the same,” Grint said this in an interview with British magazine Radio Times.

Now don’t hate me for saying this, but I actually see his point. Being a fan about something where the source material is your own face can be weird. Honestly, haven’t you had moments when you hear your own voice in recordings and go like “holy shit! Is that what I sound like?”. Rupert has been branded as ‘Ron’, probably for the rest of his life thanks to the eight movie-series, and that surely must be grating him.

Rupert Grint Doesn't Enjoy Harry Potter Movies Anymore© pottermore

We have seen Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson practically grow up before our eyes through the ‘Harry Potter’ movies. Can you imagine having your awkward teenage years documented perfectly and having to look at it again and again and again? Yes, nightmare.

via GIPHY

Back in 2014, Radcliffe had said something similar to the Daily Mail. “It’s hard to watch a film like Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince, because I’m just not very good in it. I hate it. My acting is very one note and I can see I got complacent and what I was trying to do just didn’t come across.”

via GIPHY

Anyway, those you who are still freaking out thinking Grint just wants to sever ties with all things related to the HP series, breathe. He has no plans of doing so and even said that the movies were a “unique and incredible” part of his life.

“I think it’ll always be with me. I had a weird relationship with that character because after that we kind of merged into the same person. I find it very hard to separate where I end and Ron begins.” Grint told the Daily Mail earlier this year.

via GIPHY

You should also know that Grint still absolutely loves his fans and if you ever see him, you can walk up to him and ask for a selfie nicely and he is most likely to oblige. But, he WILL get pissed if you do this. “I hate it when people take pictures without asking.”  Now please someone plan a reunion of the HP cast already!

‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ is one of the best movies ever made for many reasons. Of course, anything that is directed by Martin Scorsese HAS to be iconic, but it was also the stellar cast and their insane dedication to the script that made this movie a true class act.

Margot Robbie had been in the Hollywood scene for quite some time, doing independent movies and even a soap opera between 2008 and 2011, but what followed next shot her fame to the stars and her true career really began.

She was then presented with an opportunity that most actors would gladly sell a limb for—starring opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in the Scorsese directed ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’. After nailing her audition like a boss, she was cast as the sexy AF Naomi Lapaglia in the 2013 film, after which the 27-year-old’s career soared.

However, you will be surprised to know that Margot, who oozed sheer confidence every time she came on screen, was actually not sure if she was good enough for the heavy role.

“”I was just terrified that people would see the movie and think ‘eugh! She’s not that great’. When I was playing Naomi in The Wolf of Wall Street it was so high-tempo sexy. I was acutely aware that the line in the screenplay was ‘the hottest blonde ever’ – I’m clearly not the hottest blonde ever,” she said in an interview last October.

Now I am sure many of you just want to run to her and tell her how wrong she is, Margot also revealed the mind-blowing fact that she actually changed a small detail in one of the scenes. A small chance that made the scene iconic. Remember when she appeared in the doorway, completely naked in nothing but thigh-high stockings and heels in an attempt to further seduce the already weakening DiCaprio? (If you don’t, you deserve the most painful death). That was HER idea!

Apparently, Scorsese told Margot that she can wear a bath robe, but she flatly refused to do that. Speaking to the Telegraph, she explains why she went fully nude.

“The whole point of Naomi is that her body is her only form of currency in this world. So when Marty was trying to help me out, and said in the scene where she seduces Jordan perhaps I could have a robe on, I said she wouldn’t. She has to be naked. She’s laying her cards on the table.”

She sure looked confident as hell, and she sure knocked the wind out of both Leonardo and everyone on the planet. But she had her own fears as well.

“I just flat out lied to my family for a really long time. I said, ‘I don’t care what you hear, there is no nudity, I’m not doing any nudity. Ignore anything anyone’s saying, there is no nudity’. And then I thought, ‘Well, the movie’s going to come out and they’ll see there’s nudity’, so I changed that. The lie evolved to, ‘Well actually it’s a body double, and they just CGI-ed my head onto someone else’. “My family don’t have anything to do with the entertainment industry so they totally bought it. They were like, ‘They can do that?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, technology these days, you wouldn’t believe what they do in Hollywood’,” she said in an interview to Jimmy Kimmel.

Well, if you need to keep lying to your family to scorch our eyeballs, then by all means continue doing so Margot Robbie!

Ted Mosby was not everyone’s favourite and I’ll tell you why. First, the amount of insane optimism this man carried was unhealthy. I mean, who can still be annoyingly positive after watching the girl you love going away with another man? Right? Second, his never ending hunt for ‘the one’. At one point I am sure we all were like “just give up man”, but clearly Teddy Westside had no intentions of doing that.

But the one thing that made everyone admire him was that, despite the rocks life threw at him, his views on love never became jaded. His belief about finding was so strong that it made some of us wonder, if we believe this strongly about something in our lives.

Here are 10 quotes, which according to me, highlight his incredible belief and faith in the power of love. And trust me, we need it. Not necessarily in the love department, but other facets of life as well, where a little faith can do wonders.

1. “If you’re not scared, you’re not taking a chance and if you’re not taking a chance, then what the hell are you doing?”

Beautiful Quotes By Ted Mosby About True Love© Pinterest

We are all scared shitless when it comes to taking a leap of faith, not just when it comes to love, but life in general. Why some of us actually break our heads trying to figure out something new from a menu. Point is, the worst thing that can break you is regret, and the way to avoid that is taking chances.

2. “If you’re looking for the word that means caring about someone beyond all rationality and wanting them to have everything they want no matter how much it destroys you, it’s love. And when you love someone you don’t stop, ever. Even when people roll their eyes, and call you crazy. Even then. Especially then.”

Beautiful Quotes By Ted Mosby About True Love© Pinterest

This powerful quote speaks in volumes for itself. What makes goddamn sense is that we are all guilty of becoming vulnerable to the opinions of friends and society. But Ted says screw em’ and march on!

3. “Shouldn’t we hold out for the person who doesn’t just tolerate our little quirks but actually kinda likes them?”

Most of us keep saying “I’m ready to change for her if she wants,” but now when you read this quote, doesn’t doing that seem just wrong?

4. “Love doesn’t make sense! You can’t logic your way into or out of it. Love is totally nonsensical. But we have to keep doing it or else we’re lost and love is dead, and humanity should just pack it in. Because love is the best thing we do.”

Beautiful Quotes By Ted Mosby About True Love© popsugar

This is a little difficult to swallow, at least for me, as I simply MUST find logic in everything. But I guess, we need to face harsh truths sometimes.

5. “You will be shocked, kids, when you discover how easy it is in life to part ways with people forever. That’s why, when you find someone you want to keep around, you do something about it.”

Raise your hands if you are guilty of cutting out people from your life and then instantly regretting it!

6. “If you love something, you can never let it go. Not even for a second. Or it’s gone forever.”

Beautiful Quotes By Ted Mosby About True Love© Wikimedia commons

It’s so damn easy to say “let’s end this” because it is the clear easy way out, right? But biting down the pride and ego and actually fighting to save your relationship is probably the hardest thing you can ever go through.

7. “I used to be in such a hurry all the time. Everything was so urgent. Now I figure, if it’s going to happen, it’ll happen when it happens. I’m not going anywhere; she’s not going anywhere. What’s the rush, right?”

Beautiful Quotes By Ted Mosby About True Love© Wikimeidia commons

It’s a good thing to be focused on searching for your soulmate, but that doesn’t mean that life has to stop right?

8. “Sometimes things have to fall apart to make way for better things.”

There is this song by Rascal Flatts called ‘Broken Roads’. It has this one particular line which goes like “every long, lost dream led me to where you are. Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars pointing me on my way, into your loving arms.” (Beautiful, I know right?) Point is, losing someone you love can sometimes have a purpose. Maybe it teaches us how to be better in the future. Basically, some heartbreaks happen for a reason.

9. “Sometimes love means taking a step back. If you care about somebody, you should want them to be happy even if you wind up being left out.”

I think this quote pretty much speaks for itself. I’m sure many of you out there have ended things just because she was not happy. Irrespective of how you felt, irrespective that at least you were happy in the relation, you let her go. That is nothing else but true love, my friend.

10. “People don’t get the chance to discover each other anymore.”

So true. Given the present times we are living in, it is very rare that people actually have the patience of digging deeper and peeling the layers of your partner to get to find a new facet to them. The joy of discovering someone comes only with time, but what is one supposed to do when they end up getting ‘fed up’ in just three months?

Okay! So I know the headline says 10 quotes, but I just had to add this one. Just had to. His expression is just screaming of pure love!

1. ‘Dil Chahta Hai’

Situation: Akshay Khanna slaps the crap out of Aamir Khan after the latter makes fun of him for being in love with an older woman.

Significance: Nothing hurts more than your best buddy failing to support or at least understand your feelings. In this case, where Khanna was head over heels in love a woman twice his age, Khan mocking him and trying to talk him out of the whole thing was simply the last straw for him. Resulting in epic bitchslap!

2. ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’

Situation: Saif Ali Khan comes in his resplendent best, all set with flowers and music to tell Preity Zinta how deeply he loves her. But his heart is ripped from his chest and he is in visible pain when he finds out that she is in fact madly in love with his rambunctious friend- Shah Rukh Khan. Go figure.

Significance: Oh this needs no elaboration! Unrequited love is like common cold but without a cure. One can only pray not to find themselves in poor Saif’s shoes.

3. ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’

Situation: Poor Parmeet Sethi faced the embarrassment of a lifetime after his fiancée Kajol jumped onto the train to happiness with SRK, right in front of his family and friends (after getting beaten up black and blue on top of everything). He was not even the villain and he was meted such terrible treatment.

bollywood movies

Significance: Not everyone is Raj, nor does everyone want to be. But there are thousands of Kuljeets who are asked to swallow the bitter medicine just because they come across as the ‘bad guys’. Hey! They have feelings too.

4. Devdas:

Situation: A miserable SRK attends the wedding of his childhood sweetheart Aishwarya Rai. Poor bloke gives her away and even shoulders her palanquin.

Significance: Those who have stood and watched helplessly as the woman they love began a new life with another man can relate to his pitiful situation. Of course, stumbling around drunk in grief and blind to the world is never recommended.

5. ‘Raanjhanaa’

Situation: Basically Dhanush in the entire movie. He literally dies trying to prove his love for a zombified Sonam Kapoor (who is already grieving for her dead Muslim lover). From being a stalker to a rickshawalla to also being mistaken for a beggar by college students! Boy, did he get the rough end of the deal.

Significance: How far can you go for the one you love? It is a situation many of us have found ourselves in at some point. Finding ourselves charging full speed without brakes, all in an attempt to be at least visible to them can be exhausting. It is an interesting concept how the word “pride” suddenly loses all significance.

6. ‘Student Of The Year’

Situation: Varun Dhawan walks in on a horrific scene where his girlfriend Alia Bhatt and best friend Sidharth Malhotra are full on making out! No need to elaborate.

Significance: Oh hell no! This is nothing but betrayal of the purest form. No wonder it took them 10 years to resolve the matter, which eventually ended in a public brawl with them punching the lights out of each other. Hurting your bro is evil enough, but making a move on his girl too? Honestly, getting hit is not enough punishment.

7. ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’

Situation: Divyendu Sharma (Liquid) gets humiliated at work in front of his colleagues by the woman he has a massive crush on. Especially AFTER he helped her in the company, paid for her flat, accompanied her literally everywhere, even listened when she whined about her loser ex.

bollywood moviesPanorama Studios

Significance: The moral of the story in this situation is pretty simple: Don’t become a ch****a even when you fall in love. If you do not respect yourself, then please don’t expect others to.

8. ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’

Situation: “What goes around comes back around”. This quote is personified spectacularly by playboy Ranbir Kapoor, who after breaking the hearts of two women who were in love with him, gets a taste of his own medicine by the fiercely independent Deepika Padukone.

Significance: There are some of us who just have to learn things the hard way. And that’s when Karma steps in. Basically, being a jerk has its repercussions.

9. ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’

Situation: Ranbir Kapoor is bonkers for the hopped-up-on-sugar-and-life Anushka Sharma. But she wants nothing more than friendship. He even ends up singing heartbroken at her wedding…which is followed by a tantrum where he repeatedly bangs his chest with a flower pot (yes, trying to show literal pain!)

Significance: Friendzone is a bitch. It is the place where all hopes and dreams die. And if by God’s miracle you do escape from that dark pit, please spread the knowledge to your bros.

10. ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’

Situation: Poor Salman Khan! Finds out on his effing wedding day that his bride is in love with someone else. Lord knows how he let this humiliation slide by and handed over Kajol to SRK with a smile on his face.

Significance: The art of learning to let go is what Sallu bhai taught us in this emotionally charged scene. However, not all of us actually have the strength to sing and dance with flair after getting stomped on the heart in public.

Obviously spoilers! (Although if you haven’t seen it yet, what are you even doing?)

Matt Damon somehow ‘Jason Bourned’ his way into ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and those of us with the eagle eye were pretty much bouncing on our seats like idiots and gasping for air when that moment arrived. However, it is incredible how his amazing cameo went mostly unnoticed by many, not because it was not up to the mark, but he blended so damn well with the scene that it was almost camouflage! Still, how could anyone miss him?

What is insane is that Damon did not have a sneaky see-and-miss cameo but had a full-fledged appearance involving a scene from a play, where all eyes were literally on him. STILL, the audience was clearly so engrossed with the movie that they glazed over who was in the scene. Did YOU catch his cameo? Or are you in the glorious club of those who missed it?

The scene came pretty soon into the movie, when Thor comes back to Asgard and witnesses a weird picture unfolding as his oh-so-noble father Odin is behaving in a very odd manner. Surprise! Turns out it was Loki (no, he is not dead from ‘Thor: The Dark World’) disguised as Odin and watching a play where his ‘supposed death’ was being honoured. This is where Damon makes his entrance, as he plays Loki complete with the green-gold outfit and greasy black wig.

Two other A-list cameos were also part of this silly yet absolutely brilliant scene, as a weepy, emotional Thor crying over the dying body of Loki was portrayed by Chris Hemsworth’s own brother Luke and Odin by played by Sam Neill.

I remember sitting in the hall and losing my mind watching this incredible scene unfold before my eyes as I practically stuffed my fist into my mouth to stop myself from fanboying. I mean it was so out of the blue and it was MATT ‘effing DAMON for heaven sake!

However, I was absolutely dismayed by the total lack of reaction by the audience. Although, I did hear a few expletives from somewhere in the back. I even poked the dude next to me saying, “dude that’s Matt Damon!” and he had the nerve to ask me, “really? Are you sure? Oh yaaaah”

Anyway, the scene set the perfect tone of hilarity in the opening moments, from where the plot unfurls perfectly. The ‘real’ Thor realises that the ‘real’ Loki is alive and that the ‘real’ Odin has been exiled, and thus the story begins.

Full points go to the ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ team for keeping the amazing cameos under wraps for such a long time. Pretty sure everyone was threatened with their lives in order to keep this secret iron-clad bound.

Hollywood Reporter quoted screenwriter Eric Pearson saying that he had no clue about the casting decision until July, after which he was practically sworn to secrecy.

“It was one of those, ‘Don’t tell your wife. You cannot tell anyone.’ [Marvel exec] Brad [Winderbaum] took me over to the side, and showed me the picture [of Damon] in full costume and I lost my mind,” he said.

So now, if you have missed the cameo, you know what to do. First, bang your head against the wall real hard for being an ignorant fool and then go watch it again. Seriously!

Nov 092017

Even before ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ hit the theatres, we all knew what was coming. We knew someone was going to die. We knew it would hurt like hell. And when that moment finally came, something inside us broke…just like Thor’s beloved hammer Mjolnir, which was blown to smithereens by Hela, the Asgardian goddess of death. (It is yet to sink in!)

via GIPHY

First of all, kudos to the team for easing us into it by showing the deadly scene in the trailer itself. Because Lord knows what would have happened if that scene just popped up in the film. Pretty sure movie halls across the world would be filled with the screams of people in pain and agony.

via GIPHY

Thank you Marvel for preparing us ahead for that soul-shattering moment.

It goes without saying that Thor took the loss the hardest. After all, Mjolnir has been with him right from the start and witnessed the son of Odin going through his best and his worst. Right from the time when Odin chucked him to Earth for being a spoiled brat, to Thor truly becoming a superhero, Mjolnir always faithfully stood by him.

via GIPHY

It seems like poor Thor is yet to come to terms with the loss, as Chris Hemsworth, who plays the superhero, took to social media to pay his tributes and mourn the death of his best friend.

RIP Mjolnir (Hammer)!  #ThorRagnarok pic.twitter.com/mGuQRs0m7w

— Chris Hemsworth (@chrishemsworth) November 8, 2017

“Brother, the goddess of death destroyed your hammer like a piece of glass.” The video begins with Thor’s ‘adopted’ brother Loki telling him straight on his face about what happened to Mjolnir, highlighting the fact that Loki will always be annoying AF.

via GIPHY

The video then goes on to show the times Thor kicked ass, thanks to Mjolnir and how the hammer can harness lightning and help him blow things up, while also helping him fly. Basically, his hammer always came back to him…but not anymore.

via GIPHY

The sad montage then ends with a picture of Mjolnir titled “In Memoriam. From the beginning of time- 2017.” (Whew!) After taking a deep breath and pacing ourselves, we can now look back and know for sure that nothing can replace it.
