Honestly, the fact that B.o.B is more famous for his flat earth conspiracy theories than his actual rapping career says a lot about him.

Despite all the scientific proof in the world, he is completely convinced that the earth is ‘as flat as a pancake’, and now he now he is dead set on proving this theory. Last week, he launched a GoFundMe page in an effort to ‘find the curve’.

The rapper is hoping to raise $200,000 to help him launch satellites into space in order to prove everything that is already a scientific fact and has been proven before.

“It’s Flat-Earth B.o.B,” he says in a YouTube video posted to the page. “I’m starting a GoFundMe because I would like to send one, if not multiple, satellites as far into space as I can, or into orbit as I can, to find the curve. I’m looking for the curve.”

The 29-year-old musician is quite a well-known conspiracy theorist, and he posts a lot about it.

Science said it, not me pic.twitter.com/rmdm67iHm6

— B.o.B (@bobatl) August 31, 2017

Back in January 2016, he even posted a series of tweets, which he claimed was proof that the earth is flat.

The cities in the background are approx. 16miles apart… where is the curve ? please explain this pic.twitter.com/YCJVBdOWX7

— B.o.B (@bobatl) January 25, 2016

“No matter how high in elevation you are… the horizon is always eye level … sorry cadets… I didn’t wanna be it either,” he wrote. “I’m going up against the greatest liars in history … you’ve been tremendously deceived.”

This even caught the attention of astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who hit back with straight up facts.

@bobatl Earth’s curve indeed blocks 150 (not 170) ft of Manhattan. But most buildings in midtown are waaay taller than that.

— Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson) January 25, 2016

@bobatl Polaris is gone by 1.5 deg S. Latitude. You’ve never been south of Earth’s Equator, or if so, you’ve never looked up.

— Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson) January 25, 2016

The feud escalated with B.o.B’s diss track “Flatline,” and continued with a diss track from Tyson called “Flat to Fact” that he wrote with his nephew. “I’m bringing facts to combat a silly theory because B.o.B has gotta know the planet is a sphere,” Tyson’s nephew raps on the track.

B.o.B’s campaign currently has raised around $650 out of the $200,000, so it’s a long way to go as of now, but if he’s actually able to pull it off, it will be the most hilarious thing ever!

Right now, ‘It’ is literally killing it at the box office, and the movie’s director Andy Muschietti is currently enjoying the massive success of the movie. But he has already set his sights on another Stephen King classic.

Along with working on a sequel to the horror hit, which will focus on the adults who return to finish off the shapeshifting entity, Muschietti, and his sister and producer Barbara, want to remake fan favourite ‘Pet Sematary’.

Another Stephen King Classic Might Be Coming To The Big Screen Soon

King’s ‘Pet Sematary’ came out back in 1983 and the horror novel was then turned into a movie in 1989. There was a sequel to it as well that came out in 1992, but did not enjoy as much success as the original.

The 1989 movie starred Dale Midkiff and Denise Crosby as the young parents who move in next to a busy country road and a woodland burial ground, where the dead don’t rest in peace. The late Fred Gwynne played the kind neighbour Jud Crandall, who knows secrets about those woods that he probably shouldn’t have shared. The movie was a huge hit and probably kicked off the trend of King’s novels getting adapted on the big screen.

While talking to Entertainment Weekly, Andy Muschietti said, “My affection for Pet Sematary will go on until I die. I will always dream about the possibility of making a movie.” Barbara added, “We’ll see who gets to it first. But it is the first Stephen King book that we read, and it’s something that has been a great love, because it is possibly King’s most personal book. You can imagine his young family. What will you do to be able to keep your family? How far would you go?”

Another Stephen King Classic Might Be Coming To The Big Screen Soon

She continued, “But if we do it, we have to do it justice, like we did with It. The versions we read in the past years, the scripts we’ve read, have not been, in our opinion, representative of the book.”

They have some competition, though. Director Guillermo del Toro has also showed interest in adapting the novel as well.

Book of the Day: PET SEMATARY by Stephen King. Unrelentingly dark and emotional. Compulsive reading. Would kill to make it on film.

— Guillermo del Toro (@RealGDT) October 16, 2015

But, the bottom line is that it seems like we will get to see a newer version of ‘Pet Sematary’ quite soon, let’s just wait and see who’s the first one to do it though.

It’s been three days since the much-awaited Apple Keynote 2017 and it doesn’t seem like that the hype around it would die down any soon. Along with three new iPhones, Apple also unveiled the Series 3 Apple Watch, upgraded the Apple TV, but the whole world just can’t get enough of iPhone X.

For months, the speculation around the phone was running wild with so many rumoured features, and now that it’s here, the world is just in awe over how much it has to offer. From debating about the over the top price, to turning it into the butt of all jokes, the iPhone X is the only thing everyone seems to want to talk about.

Even TV’s funny woman Ellen DeGeneres has decided to join in on all the fun and roasted the hell out of the iPhone X in one of the segments’ of her show ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ with jokes so bad, that they were good.

She started off by telling everyone what to do with our current phones now that the iPhone X is out : “If anyone has an iPhone, just throw that away, immediately on your way out. Just find a trash can and toss it.” Well obviously, since anything other than the iPhone X is now obsolete.

Next, she took it upon herself to answer the question that is on everyone’s mind : What the hell happened to iPhone 9?

She’s the only one who can manage to turn one of the lamest jokes ever hilarious.

She then proceeded to explain the phone’s name.

She had some great insight on the design change.

Talking about the target audience, she said, “It’s for those of us who cracked the front and thought ‘I can do better’.”

After taking a dig at the wireless charging feature by calling it a hotplate, she went on to talk about the technical stuff. Talking about the increase in the screen size, she made the perfect joke.

And finished it all by roasting the most famous feature – the facial recognition.

“All you have to do is scan your face once. And then again after you get a haircut. And then again after you get a nose job. And the again after you buy a hat.”

In terms of ratings, this season of ‘Game of Thrones’ may be coming off its biggest year ever, but the hit series has also broken records for piracy this year.

MUSO, a piracy monitoring firm reported that the seventh season of the HBO hit drama has been illegally watched more than one billion times, or about 140 million times per episode. Wow, that’s a lot.

GoT Season 7 Was Pirated More Than A Billion Times

In contrast to that, HBO reported only an average of 32 million viewers who watched each episode of the seventh season via legal viewing. However, it is important to note that this number only accounts for the show’s audience In USA and doesn’t include the audience that watch through HBO’s other authorized networks.

But, this season’s illicit sharing was most certainly boosted by the two episodes that leaked online before their release date. But surprisingly, both of the leaks weren’t because of the result of the much-publicized hack of the company, where hackers threatened to release GoT episodes in the press.

GoT Season 7 Was Pirated More Than A Billion Times

Instead, both of the episodes were leaked from HBO’s overseas operations, and in one of the cases, reportedly four people have been arrested in India. Either way, MUSO’s CEO and Co-Founder Andy Chatterley told TorrentFreak that the leaks boosted the piracy — noting, for example, the leaked sixth episode was pirated more times than the season finale.

But, the majority of the piracy was not through the traditional file-sharing torrents, but rather from sites hosting posting unauthorized streaming video of the episodes.

GoT Season 7 Was Pirated More Than A Billion Times

Even after HBO’s considerable efforts to reduce the piracy of the show, it just seems to increase. HBO usually makes new episodes available worldwide on the same day and even launched a standalone streaming service (HBO Now) that doesn’t require a cable subscription.

But, why is Shaq sitting in a car alone and cracking jokes?

With so many puns, and so many dad jokes, this Carpool Karaoke episode featuring John Cena and Shaquille O’Neal could not have been any better.

Black Hercules. The Big Aristotle. Extra Tall-ems. Empire Strikes Shaq. Those were just some nicknames that WWE wrestler and actor John Cena gives his carpool buddy and basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal within the first thirty seconds of an advance clip of ‘Carpool Karaoke: The Series’.

And that was enough to start the name pun game. Seems like Cena did have a few clearly pre-prepared punny nicknames for Shaq. Obviously, Shaq was also able to fire back with a few of his own Dad jokes like, “You’ve been served a sub-Cena.”

Even though the episode is not that heavy on music, with Cena readily admitting that he isn’t much of a singer, which prompts Shaq to tell him he’s no ‘Cena Turner’.

“The general perception was that you weren’t really that good at the free throw line,” Cena muses at one point.

“Fifty percent. That’s make one, miss one. My motto is, I hit ’em when I need to hit ’em,” Shaq shrugs.

Even though this teaser for the episode is just about two minutes long, you have to admit it’s pretty damn entertaining.

Watch for yourself and see if you can actually spot John Cena, because we sure as hell cant :

Christian Bale is one of the most dedicated actors out there. He is quite well-known for going to great lengths to transform himself for his movie roles.

To play the role of drug-addict Dicky Eklund in ‘The Fighter’ he shed the pounds big time, but that was nothing compared to the lengths he went to while preparing for 2003’s ‘The Machinist’.

His famous skeletal frame for that movie was achieved through a diet of “water, an apple and one cup of coffee per day, with the occasional whiskey.” Apparently after losing about 30kgs, he wanted to go even further, but producers had to stop him because he could have died.

And, then 6 months after that, he was playing the lead role in ‘Batman Begins’ for which he had to bulk up big time. With a high-protein diet and regime involving heavy-core, plyometrics and resistance training, he packed on a whopping 45kgs, only for Christopher Nolan to turn around and tell him to lose about 10 because he’d got a bit too fat.

Now, he has gone and done it again. Christian Bale debuted a plumper look over the weekend at the Telluride Film Festival, where he premiered his upcoming movie ‘Hostiles’.

He looks unrecognizable now as he prepares to portray former US Vice President Dick Cheney in an up-coming bio pic. He has even dyed his eyebrows blond to emulate the politician.

The biopic is called ‘Backseat’, and will focus on how Cheney’s politics “changed the world.” It also stars Amy Adams as Lynne Cheney, Sam Rockwell as former President George W. Bush, Steve Carell as Donald Rumsfeld and Bill Pullman as Nelson Rockefeller.

Seems like quite a complicated role, but if there’s anyone who can pull it off and make the film memorable, it’s Christian.

Stephen King is obviously not a stranger to getting his work adapted, in fact, almost each and every one if his novels and short stories has made its way to the big or small screen, some way or another.

India Got Its Own Version Of Stephen King's ‘It' Back In The 90s© Syfy

One of his most famous novels ‘It’, which was released in 1986, was adapted in a miniseries in 1990 and proved to be a big hit, with Tim Curry’s portrayal of ‘Pennywise the Clown’ receiving a lot of praise. And now, ‘It’ is being revived again, but for a full feature film this time, which is set to release in a couple of days. If you haven’t checked it out before, you can watch the trailer right here, it’s quite interesting and terrifying.

But, the most interesting adaptation of that particular novel has to be the one that aired on Zee TV back in 1998. Isn’t it kind of weird to think about how there was a Hindi version of an American television miniseries, that too back in the 1990s?

Including the literal translation of the name, the Indian show, called ‘Woh’, was quite similar to the original miniseries it was based on. The show follows a group of seven teenagers who once beat the titular character, a red-balloon toting, child-murdering monster disguised as a clown, and then vow to return should ‘Woh’ ever rears its ugly head. Then, about thirty years later, the balloons start to appear again, forcing the original group of friends to reunite once again, this time to destroy ‘Woh’ once and for all.

Like the American version, several members of the group fall victim to ‘Woh’s’ shape-shifting and mind tricks, but by the end, the remaining survivors defeat the evil force. But, that is where all the similarities end, though. The Indian series took quite a few creative liberties, including giving ‘Who’ a mother. But with the addition of the character of ‘Woh’s’ mother, it also gave the series a way to give ‘Woh’s’ backstory and motivations.

So, basically, he was a short man who wasn’t able to fit in and get along in society, so he ended up committing suicide, but became an evil spirit in the process. Another big difference is how the group finally defeats ‘Woh’; they work together with him to help him attain “salvation” so that he’ll stop being such a scary creepy clown.

With Indian audiences being not that familiar with the original American series, it’s not that surprising that ‘Woh’ never caught on back then. If you want to check it out, all 52 episodes are available on YouTube now. Honestly, it’s definitely worth a binge watch before you go watch the new ‘It’ movie.

If you thought the ‘Insidious’ series was done after the third movie, think again. Successful horror franchises never quite die, and this one is no different.

There’s not a better franchise whisperer than James Wan right now, and after launching both the ‘Saw’ and ‘Conjuring’ series, he also took on 2015’s pivotal Furious 7, a great entry into an already great franchise that paved the way for many, many more years of good Fast movies. Other than that, he’ll also be tackling ‘Aquaman’, a DC movie coming out next year.

‘Insidious’ falls between all of these accomplishments, with the franchise beginning in 2010, and now it’s entering its fourth chapter, ‘The Last Key’. Even though this series hasn’t reached the level of ‘The Conjuring’ and ‘Saw’, it is still quite an entertaining and successful franchise.

One of the big tag lines of the original Insidious was “it’s not the house that’s haunted”, and it does seem to be quite applicable for this latest one as well. In ‘The Last Key’, the veteran spook investigator, Lin Shaye, will discover that it’s also a very personal case. In this one, Shaye’s character Dr. Elise Rainier is contacted by a desperate family (led by Kirk Acevedo), as they are experiencing and being tortured by truly terrifying apparitions since they moved into their new house.

But, as soon as she reaches there, Elise realizes that the house is a little too familiar, being the same house she grew up in. The movie will have Elise dealing with new a supernatural menace along with her own past, but the scariest part is the introduction of a weird new villain: A demonic creature with keys for fingers that has an unpleasant affinity for plunging them into people’s necks.

Check out the scary as hell trailer here:

Well, the use of the word ‘last’ in the title might be an indication to this being the final instalment of the franchise, so let’s enjoy it while it lasts! ‘Insidious : The Last Key’ is set to hit the theatres in January next year.

Now, he’s back with a new hairdo, but this time, it doesn’t involve any hair at all. He has gone and shaved all of his hair completely, like not a single strand of hair is left.

A post shared by Trisha Malik💋 (@trishamalik1069) on Sep 3, 2017 at 9:05am PDT

The 24-year-old British singer’s mom, Trisha Malik revealed his new look on Instagram, by posting a picture posing with a VERY bald Zayn and his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.

Comments from the picture range from “you look cute” to “WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR?” Well, at least, it seems like Gigi approves, judging by her smile in the picture.

This is probably the first time Zayn’s hair has shocked people so much, with people mourning his long, dark, lustrous hair on Twitter, while also making fun of him, obviously.

After 11 years, writer Vikram Chandra’s 2006 thriller ‘Sacred Games’ is finally being adapted on screen, and it was a long time coming. It’s honestly quite surprising how this novel, which is considered one of the most memorable books on Mumbai, hasn’t been turned into a movie or TV show till now.

Becoming the first Indian show in the Netflix Originals category, ‘Sacred Games’ will be an eight-part series. At the press conference held to the announce the production, Chandra insisted on how crucial it will be for any screen adaptation of the novel to be multilingual. “With Netflix, the opportunity to have that multilingual flavour was unpassable,” he adds.

The filming will begin next week, and all the eight hour-long episodes are to be directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, who are co-founders of Phantom Films. And far as the actors are concerned, Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte have been finalized till now.

Basically, the story follows Sartaj Singh, a Mumbai cop, on the trail of Ganesh Gaitonde, a gang lord. Khan has been signed on for the role of Singh, while Siddiqui will essay the role of Gaitonde and Apte that of Anjali Mathur, who is roped in by RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) to snare the don.

And, as for Kashyap, this series will mark his return to the gritty Bombay crime drama, a genre he has previously explored in Satya (1998), Black Friday (2004) and Bombay Velvet (2015). According to him, he plans on treating ‘Sacred Games’ as an eight-hour long movie, even though it is a series. On the other hand, Motwane is more excited about the format, since the viewers are more likely to binge-watch a TV series rather than a two-hour film. “Water cooler conversations are not about movies anymore, they’re about shows,” he adds. “Your competition (with Netflix) is Narcos and Stranger Things. It’s scary but exciting.”

Saif Ali Khan, who claimed he is half-way through the book right now, said it will give him a chance to play a memorable role. Sartaj Singh, a character carried over from a previous book by Chandra, Love in Longing in Bombay, belongs to a family that suffered during Partition. The experience leaves a mark on him. “The stage that I’m in life, I want to do good characters and good work,” Khan adds.

‘Sacred Games’ will be screened in 190 countries in 20 different languages.
