For some reason, pictures of the homes of celebrities always get us excited. Maybe it’s because it feels like we’re getting a tiny little peek into their lives. Whatever the case may be, it’s nice to show appreciation for such incredible living spaces, and maybe getting a little jealous.

Last month we got a glimpse of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s luxurious new Mumbai apartment, and now we have pictures of another power couple’s beautiful home doing the rounds on the internet.

Adding to the long list of properties owned by the Bacchans in Mumbai, including the bungalows Jalsa and Prateeksha, in Juhu, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are all set to do the interiors of their swanky ₹21 crore Mumbai apartment.

According to Architectural Digest, the 5,500 square feet apartment situated in Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai was bought by the couple back in 2015.

Aishwarya and Abhishek currently reside in the Bachchan family home Jalsa, in Juhu, and no one knows for sure if they will be shifting to their new apartment anytime soon or have just bought it as an investment. The house actually looks so beautiful that they can’t go wrong either way. Have a look!

According to Architectural Digest, even Sonam Kapoor bought a 7,000-square-foot duplex apartment back in 2015 in the same complex as the Bachchan couple, but hers cost a little over ₹35 crore.

And, this isn’t it; the couple also has another apartment on the 37th floor of Skylark Towers located on Annie Besant Road in Worli, Mumbai. But wait, there’s more! Abhi-Aish also own a palatial villa in Dubai’s Sanctuary Falls in Jumeirah Golf Estates.

They own so many homes and I just have one question for the Bacchans – do you all get as confused about all of your properties as I am right now?

I don’t think I know anyone who hasn’t watched even a single episode of ‘Mr. Bean’, it’s honestly that iconic. People may not know the name Rowan Atkinson, but everybody knows – and loves – ‘Mr. Bean’. The TV show, that follows “a child in a grown man’s body”, as described by Atkinson himself, is almost three decades old and comprises of only 15 episodes, but that was more than enough to make it one of the most memorable shows of all time.

Christian bale has time and again proved that he can take on any kind of role, and will go to extreme lengths to get it right. From playing Patrick Bateman in American Psycho to Batman and now playing Dick Cheney in his upcoming movie, the man can do it all.

So, it doesn’t come as a surprise that he was approached to be a part of another extremely successful franchise. But, we honestly missed out on seeing Christian Bale in a Star Wars movie, it would’ve been so surprising and refreshing.

The versatile actor recently confirmed that he was approached for a role in ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’. Talking about the offer, he said, “Very tempting. I not only love the films going back to my childhood, but also have a very long relationship with Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall because they did Empire of the Sun from many years back. There was discussion, I hope there will be future discussions.”

He made this revelation during MTV’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, and along with talking about how he was almost a part of Star Wars franchise, he also mentioned he hasn’t seen any of Ben Affleck’s Batman movies.

Even though the Star Wars role didn’t work out, it doesn’t mean that it can’t still happen, so we’ll just have to wait and see. Bale didn’t mention what role he was in the talks for, it seems like it was the character of Beckett, Han Solo’s criminal mentor who is being played by Woody Harrelson.

Talking more about Star Wars, Bale said, “I’m a huge fan. Star Wars really interests me. I’ve still got the Millennium Falcon, I’ve got the AT-AT. My daughter, her first love was Darth Vader. She absolutely adored Darth Maul… stood near him at Disneyland and he growled and he’s got those teeth and he stayed in character – really wonderful performance – and she was teeny and I thought, ‘This is gonna scare the crap out of her, this is such a bad idea’. And then she stopped and she said, ‘Daddy, I’m in love’.”

‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’, which will be centred around Han Solo obviously as the name suggests, is set to theatres in a few months and even though Christian Bale is not a part of it, it’s still all very exciting and we can just hope that one day Batman will be in Star Wars. 

Finally, one of the biggest controversies of the year has come to an end, and that too just in time. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmavati’ was arguably the most talked about movie of the year, just because of all the drama that was surrounded by it, but the controversy has finally come to an end.

The movie, which stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, was supposed to come out this month, but the release was delayed due to objections from Rajput Karni Sena for showing Queen Padmini in a bad light. It also faced a lot of issues getting clearance from Central Board of Film Certification.

But, it will finally see the light of the day, after of course going through some modifications that have been suggested by the censor board. The board has suggested 26 cuts to the film and a change in the title to ‘Padmavat’ – and will issue the certificate once the changes have been made. Along with that, some changes are also required to the song ‘Ghoomar’ and some disclaimers will be put before movie begins and during interval. With all of this then, ‘Padmavat’ will release with a U/A certificate.

“The film was approached with balanced view keeping in mind both the filmmakers and society. Considering complexities and concerns around the film the requirement for a special panel was felt by CBFC to add perspective to the final decision,” an official of the censor board said.

Since the movie is based on partial historical facts, the special panel also had historians to add a proper perspective.

Even though a release date is yet to be announced, we at least now know for sure that it is definitely going to be released and that’s making us excited for 2018 even more.

Honestly speaking, is a Marvel movie, or anything for that matter, ever complete without a cameo by Stan Lee? Obviously not!

Marvel may have multiple universes, but that one cameo by Stan the Man is probably the one thing that unites them all. When it comes to the world of comics, Lee, who is the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, is the indisputable legend.
