When you’re famous and always in the public eye, hate and death threats are not that uncommon, unfortunately. But, I honestly feel like a person would have to think a thousand times before doing any of that stuff to someone like Salman Khan, but no, apparently there’s no discrimination here.

The first week of the new year for Salman Khan has been filled with a lot of dramatic highs and lows. It started off with the immense success of his movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ but ended with him getting death threats.

On Thursday, Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi of Rajasthan issued a death threat to Salman Khan, warning the actor that he will be killed in Jodhpur. While being taken to a court in Jodhpur with police security, he said, “Salman Khan will be killed here, in Jodhpur… Then he will come to know about our real identity.”

Bishnoi was due in court because he was arrested on the charges of terrorising traders and extorting them. Brushing off all his accusations, the gangster said that he had been framed in false cases saying that not even a single witness had deposed in the court to prove the charges till now.

He then proceeded to add, “Now, if the police want me to do some major crime, I shall kill Salman Khan and that too in Jodhpur.”

Reportedly, this death threat is related to the infamous black buck killing case of 1998, in which Salman Khan and his co-actors are accused. Apparently, it was the Bishnoi community that had brought up the black buck hunting case, and Salman Khan is considered a ‘villain’ in the community ever since then.

Some of the onlookers also felt that all these claims made by Lawrence Bishnoi were just to create a sensation, so maybe there’s nothing more to it, but we honestly don’t know what will happen.

Moreover, if reports are to be believed, Bishnoi is known for being a notorious gangster who has been charged in over 20 cases of attempt to murder, carjacking, extortion, snatching and under the Arms Act in the Punjab-Haryana belt.
