The crew is currently shooting in Kashmir’s Srinagar and had a shoot sequence organised at the town’s Pahalgam’s Government Civil Hospital.

Apart from the film’s crew and cast, the actress and her mom attracted a crowd of around 300 people to catch a glimpse of the mother-daughter duo shooting, says a Mumbai Mirror report.
A source informed the publication that Alia Bhatt’s mom Soni Razdan plays her mother in the film too. Both were without make-up and were dressed in cotton salwar-kurtas. The shoot commenced around 2 pm and wrapped up by 5:30 pm. The unit will be flying back to Mumbai on Wednesday.
Preventive measures were taken to safeguard the hospital’s patients’ safety with a doctor on his toes outside the set. Officials from Jammu and Kashmir police force and jawans from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were positioned to maintain a solid security around the hospital area.
Strict measures were also taken to keep a tab on none of the outsiders venturing in or around the shooting vicinity. Permissions for the shoot and the legalities were well taken care of, which regulated in a smooth shoot without any bumps, claimed the daily.
Alia will be seen essaying a Kashmiri woman’s character, who’ll be working for the Indian Intelligence, spying on her husband, a Pakistan Army man, played by Vicky Kaushal.
‘Raazi’ is a screen adaptation of author Harinder Sikka’s book ‘Calling Sehmat’. It is set against the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Last week, Alia shot for her solo sequence in the Doodhpatri woods on the banks of the Lidder river, where the production team recreated a ’70sbus depot with the desired vintage feel.
