Instead of shelling out big bucks, you can just rent a movie or the better version: Netflix and chill! Though how much chill you can have, depends on the duration of your courtship and your personal choices. (Not judging at all :D)

Nothing can be better than a movie date. The sly glances, the awkward laughter when something unexpected pops up on the screen, the first beginnings of love or the secret joke which only you both know pertaining to a scene.
All this sounds great, but now comes the extremely difficult part: choosing a movie. We all know how gruesome and nasty this little detail can get. So, let’s make that a tad simpler.

4. Forrest Gump (1994)

Leonardo Di-Caprio and Kate Winslet are the epitome of true love in this epic story of love and loss. Romance doesn’t get better than this. Snuggle up with your partner and enjoy. 7. The Holiday (2006)
One of the most underrated movies of the 21st century, according to me. The movie is an eye-opener about how much we all suffer and are ready to demean ourselves when we fall in love with the wrong person.

With an ensemble cast of Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Jack Black, the movie is a dreamy rom-com with some over-the-top instances (every romantic comedy needs that), it is a cute movie which you just need to watch. A ditzy Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz, in her trademark tough girl persona, will surely make you laugh with delight.

• The chemistry between Jude Law and Cameron Diaz is a treat to watch.
8. The Way We Were (1973)
Starring Robert Redford and Barbara Streisand, the movie revolves around two people who are completely opposite in all respects, but fall for each other. Eventually, their desire to succeed and push the other one to be their best starts cracking up their relationship. What happens next? Find out by watching the movie. 😀

A great movie to watch, with a hilarious ending scene; the movie does justice to the characters in the novel. An ensemble cast of Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant and Kate Winslet will transport you to the countryside of England in the 1800’s. A time when romance was cherished and elegance could be seen in every action.
