Ranbir Kapoor reveals latest Bollywood film that made him cry

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, through one of his Twitter fan clubs, interacted with his fans with the hashtag- Chat With Ranbir and made many such revelations

The Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, who usually shies away from social media, did something very unusually delightful for his fans. The actor, through one of his Twitter fan clubs, interacted with his fans with the hashtag- Chat With Ranbir. The question-answer session with the Tweeple scooped out some of the unknown interesting facts about the ‘Barfi’ actor.

When asked the talented star about the last Bollywood film that made him cry, he gave a very humorous reply. “Post Jagga Jasoos release,” this is what Ranbir said. Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos‘ with Katrina Kaif, turned out to be a debacle at the Box Office.

He was also interrogated about his ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ co-actress Anushka Sharma’s secret wedding with Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli. “Hey Ranbir, Anushka’s wedding is incomplete without you singing Channa mereya. Just saying (sic).’ To which, Ranbir said, “I felt sad because I had no idea about it but I felt happy because I’ve never seen her so happy and beautiful”. Ranbir even spoke about the first film that was offered to him and you’ll be amazed to know, it was with her cousin Karima Kapoor- ‘Fiza’ (2000). The interesting thing he revealed was that he trolls his friend Aditya Roy Kapur the most.

Concluding the chat session with his fans, Ranbir, posted an image of his with a Christmas tree and wished everyone a blissful New Year and season’s greetings. “This was beautiful. Thank you. Everybody. I’m going to do this more often. I promise. Have a Merry Christmas. And a happy happy new year. I love you. See U at the movies (sic).”

The South actress is well-known in Bollywood for her award-winning debut in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjo Daro, alongside Hrithik Roshan. Well known for popularizing aerial yoga, the gorgeous actress has an enviable slim figure.

Bigg Boss 11: Vikas Forcefully Tries To Kiss Akash & Twitter Wants Him Evicted Right Now

Just when things were settling down and people in the Bigg Boss house started to behave themselves, the baap of all the controversies took place. What happened last night not only was unbelievable but also left everyone stunned.

The mastermind of the house, Vikas Gupta lost his cool and dragged himself into a situation that gave rise to one of the most talked-about controversies till date.

Vikas, Akash, and Arshi were sent to jail. Dadlani, being his usual self-did everything to get attention. He provoked Vikas to get into a fight with him and boy, that’s exactly what happened.

The heated argument went to a new level as Vikas tried to kiss Akash on his lip to make him shut up. But that was clearly not a good idea at all. Akash lost it and retaliated by pushing him away which then turned into a physical brawl.

What Vikas did can essentially be termed as molestation but he also broke a very important rule of the Bigg Boss house which clearly prohibits a contestant from getting into any physical fight with each other.

What happened with Akash looks like a result of his own doing. What goes around comes around; the man has even forcefully tried to kiss Shilpa Shinde before. It’s all about karma at the end!

Both Vikas and Akash got into a scuffle but this didn’t down go well with the fans. They demanded Vikas’s eviction, and now the only thing left is to see what the producers and Salman Khan will decide.

‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ also starring Katrina Kaif in the lead, earned INR 33.75 crore nett in India as it raced past the previous non-holiday record held by ‘Dhoom 3’

Salman Khan‘s mega action entertainer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has taken a gigantic opening to become the biggest non-holiday opener of all time! Yash Raj Film’s high octane visual spectacle, also starring Katrina Kaif in the lead, earned INR 33.75 crore nett in India as it raced past the previous non-holiday record held by Dhoom 3 (also a Yash Raj Film).

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has Bollywood’s biggest action hero attempting to take down an army of enemies as he goes on an impossible mission to save nurses held as hostage in war-torn Iraq. The film opened to outstanding reviews from audiences and fans and the business is expected to exponentially grow over the huge Christmas holiday weekend. ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘ opened to a massive 5,700 screens worldwide, with India Screen Count being a mammoth 4,600.

Commenting on the spectacular opening of the film, director, Ali Abbas Zafar says, “It is an overwhelming and a humbling moment. I thank the audiences for showering so much love on Tiger Zinda Hai. It’s that time of the year again. Here’s a recap of the supercool fads that caught people’s attention over the last 365 days

Will you remember 2017 for being the year of the saree, the instances when Priyanka Chopra wowed us with her daring sartorial choices, or how the Millennial Pink became fashion’s shade du jour? With 2017 drawing to an end, we reflect on the year’s biggest, brightest and boldest fashion players.

In terms of sartorial selection, Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan couldn’t be more disparate. But it didn’t really matter, since the mélange represented different faces of modern India on the global playground. At the MET gala, Priyank chose a bad a** version of the ball gown, in a number by Ralph Lauren that carried the whiff of a trench coat. Ash rendered the Cinderella story in an ice-blue princess gown by Michael Cinco at the Cannes red carpet.

The saree endured the catwalks and controversies. Designers like Amit Aggarwal and Abraham & Thakore built their collections off the concept of upcycling chanderi, ikat and patola; the maker of light-as-air linen sarees — Anavila Misra made a case for its other half, the blouse, for the girl who wears her smarts on her sleeve. And Sanjay Garg and his quest for making the saree as
normal, if not iconic, as a T-shirt kept the fashion press busy. Early in November, designers and craft revivalists showed some spine by pooh-poohing an article in the New York Times that said the rise of the Benarasi saree to prominence has coincided with PM Modi’s push for a Hindutva agenda, and hence “Hindu” attire.

A combination of clever casting choices and emphasis on size diversity fuelled conversations around inclusivity. Lakmé Fashion Week’s Summer/Resort 2017 edition introduced India’s first transgender model, Anjali Lama. It was followed by Veronica Campabell, a plus-sized transgender model, who walked for designer Wendell Rodricks’ collection for an apparel brand
exclusively catering to plus-sized Indian customers.

The photo-sharing app, owned by Facebook, became the key hub for fashion’s tastemakers, and their platoons of fans in 2017. Industry biggies like Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Anita Dongre and Tarun Tahiliani staged fashion campaigns aimed squarely at Instagram, replacing traditional formats — that of fashion magazines — making the once “exclusive” fashion industry accessible to the public. Isn’t that wonderfully egalitarian?

Kinship with millennials

At designer Narendra Kumar’s show held on February 3, boys flaunted make-up, and sported relaxed bomber jackets screen-printed with jungle motifs. Girls wore skinny ties and tailored suits, with faces scrubbed clean of greasepaint. And just like that, Nari turned India’s idea of gender identity on its head.

A report released last year by global financial major Goldman Sachs on the Indian consumer says it is the 440 million-strong millennial population, distinguished by its education, digital literacy and growing spending power, that will decide the fate of the modern luxury market. It’s about that oddball aesthetic with no regard for gender otherness or tired conventions that tickles this group. How else can you explain a pinch of pink infiltrate the cultural zeitgeist with such ubiquity? Yes, we are talking about the Millennial Pink, fashion shade de jour of 2017.

From the sardonic to the contentious, wordy tees in all their forms were brash, brilliant and boldly feminist. ‘We Should All Be Feminists’ by Christian Dior, ‘The Future is Female’ by Prabal Gurung, and ‘I’m A Feminist, What’s Your Superpower’ by our very own Gaurav Gupta, summoned the power of the slogan T-shirt and its ability to subliminally provoke by simply existing in a certain time and place.

PadMan's New Poster Shows That Akshay Kumar Is All Set To Fight Real Problems

While most of the actors failed to impress us, 2017 has been a golden year for Akshay Kumar. From ‘Jolly LLB2’ to ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, Khiladi ruled the box office.

And 2018 will be one hell of a year as well for Akshay who is all set to entertain us with three films. The actor will start the year with R Balki’s ‘Padman’ which has already created a lot of buzz in the town. All set to hit the screens on 26th January 2018, the film also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in vital roles.

The trailer of the film which was released earlier has been hailed and cheered.

Produced by Twinkle Khanna’s production house Mrs Funnybones Movies, it is one of the much awaited films of 2018. The makers have now unveiled a new poster of the movie that has millions of stories to tell.

Recently at the song launch, Akshay said, “With Toilet: Ek Prem Katha we had shown it (film) on Doordarshan channel, the government is also doing a good job by taking the film in a pen-drive and showing it in villages so that more people can see the film and understand it. We will do something similar for PadMan. Our aim is not to earn money through the film but it should reach more people, more places where it is needed. We will also take the help of the government.”

Twinkle, who has done all the research work of the film and came up with this concept, said, “We would want the film to be shown to school girls and principals, so it penetrates where it has to. At least we are hoping a conversation starts where the same girls, who can’t afford a sanitary pad, would say to their parents that we don’t need fairness creams, we need sanitary pads so that we can go to schools.”

PadMan is a real-life story that clearly states that you need a fighter to achieve any freedom.

Singh has lent his voice to a song titled Dil Chori Sadda Ho Gaya, for the Kartik Aryan-starrer Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Sweety. The party number, a remake of the song by the same name by Punjabi legend Hans Raj Hans, will release on December 26.

Known to add his unique spin to existing ditties, like he did in the case of his hit single Dheere Dheere (2015), Singh says he has added a Bhangra flavour to the Hans Raj Hans number. He tells mid-day, “I’ve always appreciated Hans Raj Hansji’s work. It was great to turn his song into a Bhangra number with Hindi lyrics.”

The Lungi Dance singer says that he is more than happy to be back in the recording studio — a place where he truly belongs. From surviving the dark chapter of his life to emerging triumphant in his battle, Singh says his fans’ love was his source of strength through it all. Stating that his admirers prompted the comeback, he adds, “I am happy to bring a new song for my fans. I want to convey my love to them, because they have waited for my music for so long.”
