Priyanka Chopra is amazing and there is no doubt that she is all set to rule Hollywood as well. We love her and her profile abroad has definitely given her a bunch of new fans who just can’t stop obsessing over her. She is literally everywhere, from our social media feeds, billboards, to international functions and talk shows, you name it and she is there.

Although she is the queen of our hearts, getting to the top wasn’t easy for Priyanka. She experimented and tried out everything possible to prove her worth as a real actor. From bizarre movies to weird characters, she has starred in a few films that makes us wonder what made her do it in the first place.

And, we’re pretty sure that she doesn’t want her new Hollywood buddies to see these disasterpieces.

‘What’s your Rashee?’

Well, we really adore PeeCee but wouldn’t it be too much if you saw 12 versions of her? You got to agree, that’s a little too much to handle! Also starring Harman Baweja, the film had Priyanka play a character from every zodiac sign. There were weird songs, a confusing plot line, too many ‘rashees’ and so now you know why the film tanked.

‘Pyaar Impossible’

Yes, we get that it’s hard to say no to a Yash Raj banner film, but you got to do it if it features Uday Chopra in the lead! Wasn’t that enough to for her to get that this ‘pyaar’ was ‘impossible’ for anyone to truly understand?

‘Love Story 2050′

This love story is from the future…..and just like the future; the film had no clarity of what it was trying to say. From dialogues, screenplay, music, costumes to Priyanka herself, everything left us stupefied and not in a good way. The only entertaining factor in the film was the talking teddy bear named ‘Boo’. This was another film with Harman Baweja that failed at the box office. Back then, it was rumoured that Priyanka was dating him. And just like that love story, this film also fizzled out.

‘Drona’

The IMDB rating of 2.2 of this Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra starrer says it all. We rest our case!

‘Blackmail’

Haven’t seen this film yet? Well, don’t bother, you don’t have to. Starring Sunil Shetty and Ajay Devgn, this film was an exercise in bad character writing, poor plot and just bad direction. And, PC bore the brunt of it. All we wonder is why did she even sign this film? Was it the need of the hour or one of the biggest blunders that she now definitely regrets?

The next time you’re hoping for sex over Tinder, Pahlaj Nihalani might come running for you. Reason being, your bedtime stories are now at the whip of the Indian movie censor board. As quoted to Indian Express in an interview recently—the chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification has cited his displeasure over the usage of the word ‘intercourse’ in the second promo of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. Why? Because apparently—Indian families are not in favour of their kids knowing the meaning of the word ‘intercourse’. These are not my words, but of sanskari, Mr. Nihalani.

TBH: I’m wondering if I’m even sitting in 2017 and if, sex education is a prevelant reality in India…

Who doesn’t like watching Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif sharing screen space together? There is no one in Bollywood who can deny that these two create magic when seen together on-screen. The camaraderie between the two is so refreshing that one can never get enough of them.

The duo is one of the reasons why ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has created so much buzz in the industry even though its release is almost six months down the line.

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ made big bucks at the box office and now Salman and Katrina are all busy with a comeback. It will be a sheer delight to watch these two charming actors on-screen after five years.

Director Ali Abbas is doing everything to make sure that the sequel of the film makes it as big as ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. As per latest reports, the makers are planning to convert this into a franchise.

Talking to DNA, a source disclosed, “Aditya Chopra and Salman have spoken about taking forward the Tiger franchise and end it with a third part. The main team remains the same. As of now, the plan is for Ali Abbas Zafar, who’s directing ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, to helm the third part, too. The ending of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is being designed in a way that it leaves room for another, most probably the final sequel. It will be a fresh story with newer characters and a bigger adventure, and will culminate the series.”

‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ will begin from where ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ ended and the third film will continue from the ending of the second part of the franchise. The filmmakers are looking for a script that fits the plan. However, nothing officially has been announced yet, so we still don’t know if the third part is going to be made or not.

Salman Khan brings Da-Bang Tour to India after 15 years

It was a fiery and compact show. The response and hysteria was unimaginable. Getting it to India was a natural progression,” says actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan, discussing his brother’s popular tour, which entertained the Indian diaspora in Hong Kong, Auckland and Melbourne, a couple of months ago. It is now set to come to India on a five-city voyage.

Sohail says the tour was special because people bagged the rare opportunity of watching the star perform live. “Except for at awards nights, bhai doesn’t perform live. He hasn’t connected with his fans on such a scale for 15 years. An entire generation has passed since then,” he adds.

Salman Khan and his team plan to travel across Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Kolkata. “Bhai has big movies slated for next year. We’ll also have to keep the schedule of performers in mind. Besides the five cities in India, we will travel to South Africa, US and UK next year. We should be able to cover the foreign locations in 10 days, followed by a fortnight in India. If all goes as planned, we should be able to wrap the tour by March 2017,” says Sohail Khan.

srk-anushka-trailer-new Central Board of Film Certification chief Pahlaj Nihalani has pulled out his scissors yet again, with Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming comedy, Jab Harry Met Sejal becoming his latest muse.

Nihalani has objected to the use of the word ‘intercourse’ in the film, which features in the second trailer released on the internet on Monday. While airing the trailer online wasn’t a concern, that the uncensored version has been screening on television has upset Nihalani.

Talking to mid-day, he reasoned, “The trailer has to be played on television. Many children follow Shah Rukh Khan. They will watch the trailer and want to know the meaning of the word. The word intercourse has to go if the makers of the film want a UA certificate, which allows them to play the trailer on television.”

Should director Imtiaz Ali choose to retain the word, he will have to accept an A certification, Nihalani said. “Then, it cannot be played on television. They (the makers) will have to make the choice.”

A hectic shooting schedule for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama-Padmavati, coupled with Mumbai’s testing traffic, has compelled Juhu boy Shahid Kapoor to shift base to a popular Goregaon five-star in a bid to minimise the time spent on commute.

Shahid has taken a cue from his co-actors, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, and moved closer to the Film City set to successfully negotiate his acting commitments and fitness routine.

A source tells mid-day, “Shahid would spend four hours travelling. He moved into a Goregaon hotel for the previous schedule, given that it is closer to Film City. He would start shooting early in the morning and continue working till the wee hours of the next day. Since he needed to sport two distinct looks for the film, working out was crucial. Shahid will stay there for a few weeks.”

The father misses spending time with his daughter Misha. A unit hand informs, “One day, after an early pack up, Shahid’s wife Mira, and Misha, came to visit him. Along with Ranveer, Deepika, and other key cast members, the trio had a small gathering at the hotel.”

Given that Shahid Kapoor continues to interact with ‘Padmavati’ co-star Ranveer Singh, can rumours about an apparent rift be put to rest? “They are competing, but it’s a constructive and healthy competition. They both have well chalked out roles and scenes. The rumours are bogus. Off set, they are quite warm with each other,” the source says.

In order to reside closer to the Film City set while filming Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani (2015), Ranveer had first moved into a five-star, and then purchased an apartment in the vicinity. His rumoured flame Deepika Padukone is also put up nearby. She spends her time in a five-star, or at Ranveer’s residence.

Within just hours of Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ release, recorded clips from the film have made their way onto a number of social networking handles. One scene in particular scene that has been flooding these portals is the much talked about cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.

While the makers only unveiled a silhouette of SRK in the film’s trailer, a number of fan clubs and movie goers have gone ahead and posted estimated 2-4 minute clips online.

It had been reported that Shah Rukh will be seen playing a magician – Go-Go Pasha, who Salman’s character Laxman meets, at a crucial point in the story. In the series of images and videos doing the rounds, Shah Rukh looks like an Indian magician with a colourfully embroidered waistcoat, kohled eyes, harem pants and a tattoo on his face.

According to reports, many trade analysts predicted a boot in ‘Tubelight’ collections because of Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance. It remains to be seen how the team tackles this bump in the road.

Mom Trailer 2: Sridevi And Nawazuddin Siddiqui Are Giving Us Some Creepy Chills

The second trailer of the Sridevi starrer ‘Mom’is out and this suspense-thriller just got more interesting. Sridevi is back with vengeance and she makes sure that all your eyes are on her. The latest trailer for the film professes, ‘Nobody knows what a mother is feeling’.

This one minute video introduces us to a very brave and courageous side of Devki (Sridevi) who is ready to go to any length to save her daughter, Arya (Pakistani actress, Sajal Ali). However, just like the previous trailer, we still don’t know that what exactly has happened to her daughter, which does really pique our curiosity.

It is well established that the film is about a fight is for a daughter who refuses to call Devki her mother and addresses her as ‘maám’. But Sridevi being a genuine mother will go out of her way to take revenge for her daughter, ruthlessly.

The second trailer has all the potential to give you chills. The highlight of the video is the dialogue interaction between mysterious Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sridevi. Nothing much about Nawaz’s role has been revealed but the film makers are cleverly using this character as an asset in all the promos. Akshaye Khanna makes a small appearance too. But it is Nawaz who definitely steals the show.

Brace yourself and get ready for some goosebumps. After watching the second trailer, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it is one of the best trailers we have seen in a while. In short, it looks like a film that gets made just once a year.

Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is set to hit theatres on July 7.
