So here is what caused the entire ruckus.
SRK was returning from his birthday celebrations and Patil was supposed to board his yacht to home in Raigad from the very same spot. But because of SRK’s presence, tons of fans gathered there just to get a glimpse of him and hence the actor had to wait inside before he left. Due to the delay in his schedule, Patil yelled at the actor saying, “You may be a superstar, but you don’t own Alibaug.”
He also complained that because so many people gathered to catch a glimpse of SRK, he couldn’t even come to his own yacht on time which irked him further.
Talking about the incident to the Free Press Journal, Patil said, “This is not the way celebrities should act, as people were waiting for him outside and he was sitting inside. I saw policemen struggling to control the crowd who were waiting to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan, even I was not given any space to go to board my yacht. But some policemen spotted me and helped me out of the crowd. He might be a celebrity but he should behave.”

The MLC didn’t just stop here, he also mentioned how people had issues with celebrities who have farmhouses in Alibaug and their raucous celebrations created a disturbance, “Celebrities who own houses in Alibaug come here and create nuisance, where late night parties go on, and police don’t even take action. If we put speakers after 10 pm, the police come straight away, but these celebrities are spared, and even loud DJ’s are played. I will take this matter very seriously and will put this matter forth before the Assembly, because public safety is a measure concern during such incidents.”

Despite the MLC losing his head, SRK preferred to maintain his silence and finally came out to greet the people & the crowd couldn’t keep calm. Well, it was a wise decision we must agree!
