Ankita Lokhande and (inset) Vaibhav Tatwawaadi

Marathi actor Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, who played Chimaji Appa in Bajirao Mastani (2015), will romance TV star Ankita Lokhande (of Pavitra Rishta fame) in the Kangana Ranaut-starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

Tatwawaadi essays the character of Puran Singh, a soldier, who is in love with Jhalkaribai, (played by Lokhande), a close aide of Rani Laxmibai.
