After the heartbreak from the 6th episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ which takes the life of Viserion, Dany’s beloved dragon, we are desperately wishing for a miracle. The dragon didn’t need to die so soon and we are totally blaming Jon and Daenerys. But if fan theories are to be trusted, there’s a silver lining in the clouds.

So ‘Beyond The Wall’ ends with the Night King transforming the dragon into one of his own, and the fiery red in Viserion’s eyes is replaced with an icy blue. The scene sent shivers down the spine as we mentally cursed Daenerys for flying to Jon’s rescue.

This Theory About Jon Snow & The Ice Dragon Is So Badass We Desperately Want It To Come True

But the latest of fan theories suggests that the situation is not as bleak as it looks. If you recall the oft-quoted prophecy about the three-headed dragon that was interpreted to mean there would be three riders for each of Daenerys’ 3 dragons. Besides her, Tyrion and Jon Snow have been the only 2 other characters who have shown affinity for the dragons. But with Viserion’s death, the prophecy seems to stand incomplete.

This Theory About Jon Snow & The Ice Dragon Is So Badass We Desperately Want It To Come True

Not if you consider the fact that all the Stark children have an ability to warg into animals. Besides Bran, Arya and Jon have been shown to be able to have a telepathic connection with their respective direwolves, Nymeria and Ghost. It is believed that both Arya and Jon are capable of warging, just that they are not completely aware of it.

This Theory About Jon Snow & The Ice Dragon Is So Badass We Desperately Want It To Come True

And thus, Jon will be seen warging into Viserion and controlling the ice dragon even though it is the Night King who resurrected him. For that matter, even Bran could control the ice dragon if it comes to that.

That’s a legit thought. Jon does represent ice. Maybe the ice dragon was for him, after all.

it’s symbolic that viserion died and turned into the ice dragon because viserys wasn’t a dragon, but jon snow is and jon represents ice

Explains the sword opening its eyes then

Jon Snow was reborn when he emerged from the icy water like how dani did with fire so I believe that he’ll gain control of the ICE DRAGON

Dragons can smell Targaryen blood

Jon Snow will ride the ice dragon. How else did he survive that fall into the ice? Reminds me of Deanerys when she was set to fire.

If Daenerys is the fire queen, Jon Snow is the ice king.

The 6th episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 left us shaken in our seats. We still need therapy to get over the death of Daenerys’ dragon. While it was the silliest plan in the show so far, we think Jon Snow did end up with something after all. No, you pervs, we aren’t talking about Daenerys. We are talking about huge revelation that killing a White Walker will kill all the wights he created. That could be a game-changer now, couldn’t it?

The finale of season 7 is going to be one hell of an episode and the wait is messing with our minds. If the trailer was anything to go by, there is going to be at least one death in the next episode. We wonder what the title ‘The Dragon and the Wolf’ means, considering Dany (a dragon) and Jon (a wolf) are a thing now. It could also be only about Jon Snow, since he is both a dragon and a wolf – Targaryen and Stark.

The images from the season finale are out and they be the last ones you are gonna speculate about this season. Have a look!

We are still not sure if she really is pregnant, as she claimed in front of Jaime. With Cersei, you never know.

Looks like Jaime is finally going to put his foot down and stop following her orders blindly. About time!

That is perhaps the first trace of emotion Bran has showed ever since he became the Three-Eyed Raven.

As clueless as Theon looks, we too have no idea what he is still doing in the show. He had post trauma stress disorder, we get it and we understand. But as a character, he doesn’t fit in the plot anywhere. In GOT, people die for a lot less than that. He better have something to contribute in the finale.

This is the last episode and it’s gonna be the longest this season and we are waiting for it with bated breath. ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 airs in India on Star World and Star World HD every Tuesday at 11 PM. This is going to be epic, hopefully.

Jon Snow’s suicide mission in the 6th episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 wasn’t all a waste, thanks to this one little secret Jon Snow stumbled upon. It costs them dearly – the death of a beloved dragon. But all is not lost and there is a huge learning from the tragic mission – one that will eventually defeat the White Walkers.

The White Walkers Can Be Defeated And Jon Snow Now Knows How

When Jon’s team comes across a group of Wights and White Walkers, Jon kills one White Walker and the others automatically disintegrate and fall dead. It is then that they realise that killing a White Walker will kill the Wights he created.

This piece of information holds the key to defeating the White Walkers. Armies from the seven kingdoms, armed with dragonglass weapons, can easily wipe out major portions of the White Walkers army by targeting the White Walkers who head groups of Wights.

Jon Snow might not have processed this information well enough yet, since getting out alive was his main concern then. But once they sit down to form a strategy, this secret will prove to be game-changing. Getting near the Night King will be difficult, since he now has an ice dragon (yeah, twist a dragonglass in our heart). So the next alternative is to systematically clean out the army of the dead.

After Sam’s genius discovery, we did think defeating the army of the dead was not THAT difficult. Dany’s dragon could have lived to fight another battle.

Now that we have something to take away from the tragic battle beyond the wall, we feel a little less bad about Viserion, Daenerys’ beloved dragon who was killed by the Night King.

Jon snow’s suicide mission was bound to fail from the beginning. It’s just his luck that whenever he is on the verge of dying, someone comes to his rescue. Jon Snow is the Matt Damon of ‘Game of Thrones’. Towards the end of the 6th episode of season 7, when Snow is left alone with the White Walkers and almost dead, Benjen Stark magically appears out of nowhere.

This Is How Benjen Stark Magically Appeared To Rescue Jon Snow From The White Walkers

The hooded rider on a dark horse flashing a flaming chain, Uncle Benjen cut a fierce picture, as we heaved a sigh of relief, and so did Jon Snow. Of course, he stayed behind to stall the White Walkers and let Jon get away.

— New Life (@LordBalvin) August 21, 2017

We were left wondering how he appeared at the right time and the right place to save his Stark nephew. If you remember, he had earlier rescued Bran and Meera from the White Walkers and revealed it was because “the Three-Eyed Raven requested it.”

Bran, who is now the Three-Eyed Raven, can not only warg into creatures, he can also communicate and warn someone. This time he sent Uncle Benjen to rescue Jon.

Benjen Stark has been destined to stay beyond the Wall because he was attacked by a White Walker who pierced him with an ice sword. He tells Bran and Meera that the Children of the Forest saved him by shoving dragonglass in his chest. Though he did not become a Wight, he can’t cross the Wall that is protected by magic spells to prevent the dead from passing through it.

Although Benjen disappears among the White Walkers with his flaming chain, we believe he will be not be dead so easily. Considering he is already half-dead and seems to have a connection with the Three-Eyed raven, we think there’s more to him than meets the eye.

We all heard about Jon Snow’s sword Longclaw having a life of its own, after we saw how it opened its eyes when Snow emerged from the icy water. Fans theorise it was Bran who had warged into the sword. Some also say it is possible that the sword has a trapped soul, and the only soul that can possib;y still be alive is Azhor Azhai’s. This could be a powerful hint about Jon Snow being Azhor Azhai.

We’re sure by now you all have seen the 6th episode ‘Beyond The Wall’ of ‘Game of Thrones’ and are going through a lot of emotions. Shock has given way to grief which has further given way to rage, and right now we are facepalming ourselves. Let’s take a moment to mourn the beautiful creature we lost in this episode and also the death of sanity in the show.

Like seriously, all this was for Cersei? To convince her that White Walkers exist? Cersei, who was already on the brink of a defeat at the hands of Daenerys Stormborn with a Dothraki army and 3 dragons. Cersei, who had only one ally by her side – her brother Jaime. Jon Snow went on a suicide mission to make the southerners believe there were White Walkers? They couldn’t come up with any other plan, any other alternative to win this war. That’s even more naïve than Ned Stark’s decision to confront Cersei about the real parentage of her children in Season 1.

Daenerys And Jon End Up Giving A Dragon To The Night King

Guess who has the last laugh now? Without raising a finger, Cersei Lannister has become the reason behind the death of a dragon. We wonder what her reaction will be when Jon Snow presents her with the captured Wight.

There’s a tiny detail in the latest episode that might have escaped your sad eyes, since all of us were busy digesting what happened to the dragon. So when Jon Snow comes out of the iceberg, alive, he touches his sword, Longclaw, which is, err, actually alive.

So how did that happen exactly? The possibilities of a soul being trapped in there are quite high, or wait, is it Bran? Who knows! All we know right now is that this is a huge game changer and this little detail will spread its wings in the upcoming season.

If you are a GOT fan, I am assuming you have watched the finale preview and it is as nerve wrecking for you as much as it was for me! It’s a tiny preview but is hinting at a lot of possibilities about how it will end.

The leads FINALLY are going to meet. We see Cersei, Jon Snow, Tyrion and everyone else in one frame, except for our Khaleesi. Sansa is still at Winterfell and is actually posing in a pretty grim appearance that might signify someone’s death maybe?

It’s probably the first time when we will get to see all of them coming together. Cersei looks like her cold self, unperturbed by anything and Jon is seen voicing out the same words he’s been harping throughout the season, “There’s only one war that matters here.”

The episode looks like it’s going to focus on Jon and Dany trying to join forces with the Lannisters but we know better than that. The Lannisters are huge fans of combats and violence and this peaceful meeting also might get ugly. We can’t wait to see what happens next.

Internet is a dank and a super dark space for anyone and every one who is settled and nestled in the wonderful world of ‘Game Of Thrones’. Episodes being leaked, HBO being hacked and spoilers flying like mosquitoes in the air, it’s a game of spoilers and thrones alike.

If there’s one question that has been on the mind of every ‘Game of Thrones’ fan, it’s this: why the hell have the White Walkers not reached the Wall yet, when Jon Snow has been hopping up and down the Seven kingdoms with the speed of light?! Convenient plot twists and creative license is one thing but sheer neglect of logic another!

Jon Snow Has Been Travelling At The Speed Of Light & We Need To Talk About It © HBO

Jon Snow, who knows nothing, has travelled from Winterfell to Dragonstone, and back to the Wall and then again back to Winterfell. Oh and he also went to Bear Island to meet with Lyanna Mormont. But in the meanwhile, the White Walkers barely managed to travel within the North!

Jon Snow Has Been Travelling At The Speed Of Light & We Need To Talk About It © HBO

A Reddit user has drawn a map charting Jon Snow’s travels and compared them with the distance the White Walkers have travelled. Jeez! The White Walkers walk real slow!

One look at the map and you’d wonder if Jon Snow has teleporting powers. Or maybe he has a flying ship or something.

Jon Snow Has Been Travelling At The Speed Of Light & We Need To Talk About It

In the previous seasons in the show, foot journeys have been incredibly long. Jaime and Brienne’s journey to King’s Landing takes quite a few episodes and adventures. So does Arya and the Hound’s. But not the king in the North.

Jon Snow Has Been Travelling At The Speed Of Light & We Need To Talk About It

We understand that the makers had to wrap up the season in just 7 episodes and there was too much to pack in each episode, but at least justify the huge difference in speed! Maybe show that the White Walkers are being stalled by the Children of the Forest who are trying to help the humans by giving them more time to prepare. It would have been a perfect explanation of why the White Walkers have still not reached the Wall. The Children of the Forest could have laid an invisible magic fence which the White Walkers are not able to cross, and the Night King finally breaks it? Anything!

The 5th episode, with its unending plot twists, left us gasping for breath. As if that’s wasn’t enough, the preview of the next episode is spine-chilling. ‘Eastwatch’ ended with Jon Snow marching beyond the wall with his band of the best fighters in the land. It’s a random rallying together of men who would have murdered each other in cold blood on any other day. But as the trailer says, ‘Death is the enemy’. As long as you are breathing, you are on the same side.

We still think it’s a suicide mission – venturing out beyond the Wall to capture a White Walker, with a handful of men! They may be great fighters but they are fighting against thousands of dead men! Come on now, we thought Jon Snow had better sense. He really doesn’t know anything!

If the footage from the next episode is anything to go by, this one will be one nerve-wrecking episode that will have you at the edge of your seats throughout.

Now really, was there a need to take such a huge risk, all for convincing Cersei?! Why couldn’t Daenerys just defeat Cersei first, take the Iron Throne and then send help to fight the White Walkers? Wouldn’t that be quicker, easier and less fatal?
