The finale is almost here and we are still trying to recuperate from the loss of the dragon. But since things move real quick on ‘Game Of Thrones’, the attention is now shifted to other things, one of them being the fate of Little Finger, possibly one of the most cunning characters in the series who knows exactly how to shield himself from danger, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

The theory about little finger's plan in game of thrones© HBO

When he is not creep stalking Sansa, and shoving secret notes in someone’s hands, you will find him lurking around Winterfell brewing conspiracies like tomato soup. Fans are already angry at how he’s dividing the Stark sisters at the moment. However, what is his ultimate plan for himself? A Reddit user who goes by the name ‘Squirrelwoman’ seems to have a legit theory about him. “Littlefinger wants Sansa and the Iron Throne; Jon is the roadblock in the way of both goals. Littlefinger’s already told us what his basic strategy is; he lets his enemies destroy each other for him while he acquires more territory and an ever-larger army.”

The theory about little finger's plan in game of thrones© HBO

“Adding the North to his pile is his next step, and while he seems to be sitting around Winterfell twiddling his thumbs, he’s actually positioned exactly where he wants to be, with a fantastic excuse for staying out of the fiery bloodbath to the south. While Littlefinger and his army are parked safely at Winterfell, his rivals are dropping like flies: the Martells and Tyrells are gone, half the Greyjoy fleet just sunk the other half, and Team Cersei and Team Daenerys are hacking away huge chunks of each other’s military might every time they clash. In Littlefinger’s plan, it doesn’t matter much whether it’s Cersei or Daenerys who wins; whichever one sits on the Iron Throne at the end will do so with heavy martial losses and a serious public relations problem. People hated Targaryens before one unleashed a Dothraki horde and burnt the countryside… and they hated Cersei before she blew up their religion and strutted around pregnant with her brother’s baby, thus proving the rumors true that Joffrey and Tommen were never legitimate kings.

And just imagine… into this mess rides the Queen in the North, trueborn supermodel daughter of the famously noble, recently vindicated Ned Stark, with the united armies (and food!) of the North, the Vale, and the Riverlands behind her, to be hailed as the liberator of the Seven Kingdoms. It would be sweet justice immortalized in a thousand songs. Once Littlefinger has Sansa installed, Littlefinger can either be the power behind the throne or marry her to claim it himself. MIND=BLOWN, right?

If you could bring back one character from ‘Game of Thrones’, who would it be? While Khal Drogo, Olenna and Hodor are the top contenders, Stark loyalists really miss Ned Stark, the late king in the North. His was the first major ‘Game of Thrones’ death that pulled the carpet from under us.

This Fan Theory Says Ned Stark's Alive Because Valar Not Morghulis

So according to the fan theory, Ned Stark was saved by the faceless men. It is believed that Jaqen H’ghar was a prisoner at Red Keep at the same time that Ned Stark was. Not a coincidence but a ploy by the wise old Varys. Now the Jaqen at Red Keep could both be the original Jaqen or a random man with a borrowed face paid to get captured alongside Ned Stark. We say ‘paid’ because it’s unlikely that THE Faceless Man Jaqen would so easily be captured, considering he helped Arya escape later without as much as batting an eyelid.

This Fan Theory Says Ned Stark's Alive Because Valar Not Morghulis© HBO

So the person who dies at the guillotine was not Ned Stark but someone with Ned Stark’s face. Like us, you’d be thinking a man has to die to exchange his face, and the theory  falls short here, but it is possible that the Faceless Men do have an exception to the rule, probably which is why they needed the very best – Jaqen H’ghar – to carry out the task.

This Fan Theory Says Ned Stark's Alive Because Valar Not Morghulis© HBO

Another alternative to the theory is that the person who died in place of Ned Stark was Syrio Forel, Arya’s Water Dancing teacher. The theory says that Syrio was actually a Faceless Man who didn’t die at the hands of Meryn Trant, but escaped only to end up in the Red Keep later. After all, if you don’t actually see a character dying in ‘Game of Thrones’, chances are he/she hasn’t actually been killed.

This Fan Theory Says Ned Stark's Alive Because Valar Not Morghulis © HBO

Fans also believe Syrio Forel and Jaqen H’ghar could be the same person, with different faces. Jaqen H’ghar tells Arya, “There is only one god. A girl knows his name.” while Syrio says, “There is only one god, and his name is Death.” Too big a coincidence?

Even if we believe the rescue theory, it doesn’t explain why Ned Stark hasn’t shown up yet. If he was saved in the first season, where was he all this while? The theory says he could be in hiding, serving the Faceless god who saved him. For all we know, he could turn up in the next season as a Faceless Man himself!

He might have been incredibly naïve and trusting, a quality that will get you definitely killed in the ‘Game of Thrones’ universe, but Ned Stark was THE king in the North. We’d love to watch him watch his kids kick some ass! And who knows, he might have learnt some tricks after his near-death experience. If Sansa can become worldy wise, so can her father.

Valar NOT Morghulis!

Internet is a dank and a super dark space for anyone and every one who is settled and nestled in the wonderful world of ‘Game Of Thrones’. Episodes being leaked, HBO being hacked and spoilers flying like mosquitoes in the air, it’s a game of spoilers and thrones alike.

What started off as a can of empty threats and has now become the reason of HBO losing its sleep and millions by the day, the episode leaks of ‘Game Of Thrones’ continue to haunt everyone. After having access to all the social media accounts and making absurd ransom demands, the hackers are back with a predicted demand.

This time, they have threatened to leak the finale very soon. They have reportedly demanded $6.5 billion in the form of bit coins. While there has been no official statement about the status of what the channel is planning to do, it is indeed a sad situation for every one who invested their time, sweat and money in it. Fans are however, divided on their opinions.

While many condemn piracy and want to wait till Monday to watch the new episode, there are millions who have not only watched it, but also injected the internet with spoilers. Internet is a dark place, what more can I say. The world now waits to see whether the finale is actually leaked or HBO’s grace is saved.

Our favourite show ‘Game of Thrones’ is back with its 7th season and so is our obsession for watching it before everyone else. To avoid spoilers and ruin it for everyone else, the fastest option seems to be the pirated and leaked versions floating online. Well, when half the world is watching it, why shouldn’t we, right? But, ever wondered what happens to the source who leaks it? They get arrested by the cyber cell before they can even get to see the ‘leaked episode 6′. If Monday wasn’t bad anyway, it turned worse for these four men who saw the real life White Walkers aka Mumbai police, walk into their lives and arrest them for leaking an episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ online.

Three employees of Prime Focus Technology and a former employee have been accused of leaking the show’s fourth episode online. Reportedly, the complaint was filed by the company. It processes the series for online streaming service Hotstar and a Mumbai court remanded them in police custody till August 21. Yes, we are talking about ‘The Spoils of War’ and apparently the leak of this episode was separate from the HBO hack that stirred a storm on the Internet.

Mumbai Police Arrests People Who Leaked Game Of Thrones' Episode 4© HBO

The company that is said to have the season’s airing rights lodged a complaint after they found the low quality video of the episode on the internet, before the official airing. They caught hold of the culprits because they saw the channel’s watermark on it. According to Hindustan Times, the people accused are Bhaskar Joshi, Alok Sharma, Abhishek Ghadiyal and Mohammad Suhail. They have been booked under section 408, 34 of IPC for breach of trust with common intention and sections 43 and 66 of IT Act for penalty and compensation for damage to computer and computer-related offences.

‘Game of Thrones’ has already become the most pirated show on television and has compelled half of us to wait for the leak, more than the actual airing of any episode. While, we are losing our sh*t over the leaked episode 6, please beware before sharing anything because ‘cyber cell is coming’.

‘Game Of Thrones’ never fails to blow us away. Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, that you’ve formulated enough number of fan theories to predict the course of the plot, the ‘Game of Thrones’ makers sweep the carpet from under you, leaving you gasping for breath at the twist.

Fan Theory Suggests Bran Is Actually The Night King And It's So Legit We're Blown Away © HBO

The latest in fan theories about ‘Game of Thrones’ has left us shaken, to say the least. The Three-Eyed Raven, who roams around in the body of a creepy Bran, hurling random half-baked visions at people, could possibly also be the Night King. Now before you shrug your shoulders and dismiss this, read the explanation that is so sound, we’d be disappointed if it isn’t true.

Fan Theory Suggests Bran Is Actually The Night King And It's So Legit We're Blown Away © HBO

So the theory says that Bran, in order to stop the Night Walkers once and for all decides to warg into the body of the Night King BEFORE he became the Night King! The Children of the Forest had chosen a human to turn into the Night King and Bran goes back into the past – yep, some major time-travel – to warg into the human who will become Night King.

Fan Theory Suggests Bran Is Actually The Night King And It's So Legit We're Blown Away © HBO

However, he is not able to stop the event from occurring and the human ends up as a captive of the Children of the Forest. Bran tries to escape the human body but is unable to do so before the Children of the Forest force a piece of dragonglass into the heart of the human. Bran is trapped in the Night King’s body.

Fan Theory Suggests Bran Is Actually The Night King And It's So Legit We're Blown Away

A conversation between Leaf and Bran in the show can be read in this context as a possible hint at what was coming. When Bran asks Leaf why the Children of the Forest created the White Walkers,

Leaf says: “We were at war. We were being slaughtered. Our sacred trees cut down. We needed to defend ourselves.”

Bran: “From whom.”

Leaf: “From you. From men.”

it is possible for a warg to get stuck into the body of the humananimal he warges into if they die. When the Night King changes form from human into a White Walker, Bran is forever trapped into his body. Perhaps this is the reason the Night Walker is able to touch Bran.

What perplexes us is if Bran indeed becomes the Night King, why will the White Walkers keep moving ahead? Why will they declare war on the Seven kingdoms? Wouldn’t Bran be able to control the Night King’s mind? Or maybe this is how the show will end, how the White Walkers will be stopped. And with the death of the Night King, Bran too will be dead.

Well, since the time our favourite series Game of Thrones season 7 has aired, the show is facing some or the other issue. Just a few days ago four people were arrested by the Mumbai police for leaking an episode and now there’s news about the leak yet again. The only difference is this time it wasn’t someone else but the channel that did the blunder themselves.

As per the new thread on Reddit, the sixth episode of GOT 7 was aired by mistake by HBO in Spain for a whole hour. No, we ain’t kidding, this time it looks like the channel played the wrong episode at the wrong time.

The thread even had a screen grab of the TV screen of the channel airing the episode, posted by username The Slayer Slayer. And guess what the screen grab is all about? It shows Jon Snow and Tormund Giantsbane walking in the snow beyond The Wall.  Yes, it is happening!

This scene wasn’t part of the trailer that was released a couple of days ago, so it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it might be the footage of the 6th episode after all.

The time the episode went on air, people started sharing notes and discussing all about the show. Many users also dropped a hint on where one could watch or download the episode.

There is also a small video from the episode that’s going around the internet.

A Twitter user shared a video where Benjen is seen saving Jon. We bet the 6th episode’s glimpse has already intrigued our interest and we can’t wait to watch it.

An Instagram user @afaga23 apparently has also live-streamed the whole episode; however, the post was deleted later on.

And that’s not it, there is also a gif showing something that none of us could have imagined. It shows a Night King touching Daenerys’s dragon and you know what will happen next.

Episode 7 leaked too?

As per some media reports, apparently, even the 7th episode has been leaked. However HBO representative has stated that they are not aware of it yet. Last month there were reports about a lot of data being stolen from HBO.

According to Entertainment Weekly, an anonymous email was sent to reporters following the hacking incident which stated, “Hi to all mankind, The greatest leak of cyber space era is happening. What’s its name? Oh, I forget to tell. It’s HBO and ‘Game of Thrones’……!!!!!! You are lucky to be the first pioneers to witness and download the leak. Enjoy it & spread the words. Whoever spreads well, we will have an interview with him. HBO is falling.”

We hope there are no more leaks for the upcoming episode. Episode 6 airs on Monday on Hotstar and on Tuesday on Star World and Star World HD.

Things have been going pretty well for the mother of the dragons lately, barring the moment Drogon is shot. Everyone is rallying behind her and Cersei is left with practically nobody. With 3 dragons and a Dothraki army, there’s nothing much that can baffle you. But if fan theories are to be trusted, then there’s some tough times ahead for Dany.

Daenerys Might Soon Be Betrayed By A Close Ally© HBO

According to the prophecy that was made for her in Qarth, Daenerys would be betrayed 3 times : once for gold, once for blood, and once for love. She was betrayed for blood when a Dothraki witch takes revenge for her people’s blood by killing Daenerys’ son on the pretext of saving Khal Drogo’s life.

Then she was betrayed for gold when it is revealed that Jorah Mormont had been sent by Robert Baratheon to spy on her. Of course, Jorah comes around and becomes her biggest protector later.

Daenerys Might Soon Be Betrayed By A Close Ally© HBO

So, that leaves being betrayed for love, which she hasn’t been yet. It is speculated that it might be Jon Snow – they are already falling in love – who will have to sacrifice her to fulfill the prophecy of Azhor Azhai. Considering he will have a whole kingdom to protect from the White Walkers, it might be the only way. But Jon Snow is no Stannis, and he could refuse to do the unthinkable.

Daenerys Might Soon Be Betrayed By A Close Ally© HBO

If not Snow, it could be Tyrion too. His sympathy towards his brother Jaime was well evident during the battle scene in ‘Spoils of War’ when he is desperately wishing for the latter to flee. The mother of dragons has been ignoring her Hand for far too long now and Tryion’s role has been pushed to the background. The character is being under-utilised and we think the reason could be a future betrayal.

Daenerys Might Soon Be Betrayed By A Close Ally© HBO

Another close ally whose betrayal would affect Daenerys is Missandei. There has been some character development for her and her conversations with Ser Davos about her hometown subtly push towards a sub-plot that may unfold in the future. The girl is in love with Greyworm and she is also sure that if she were to leave Daenerys, the queen would be perfectly okay with it. The lure of starting a family and settling down in her hometown could be greater than serving a queen.

The 5th episode, with its unending plot twists, left us gasping for breath. As if that’s wasn’t enough, the preview of the next episode is spine-chilling. ‘Eastwatch’ ended with Jon Snow marching beyond the wall with his band of the best fighters in the land. It’s a random rallying together of men who would have murdered each other in cold blood on any other day. But as the trailer says, ‘Death is the enemy’. As long as you are breathing, you are on the same side.

We still think it’s a suicide mission – venturing out beyond the Wall to capture a White Walker, with a handful of men! They may be great fighters but they are fighting against thousands of dead men! Come on now, we thought Jon Snow had better sense. He really doesn’t know anything!

If the footage from the next episode is anything to go by, this one will be one nerve-wrecking episode that will have you at the edge of your seats throughout.

If it scares the Hound, there is little hope

Now really, was there a need to take such a huge risk, all for convincing Cersei?! Why couldn’t Daenerys just defeat Cersei first, take the Iron Throne and then send help to fight the White Walkers? Wouldn’t that be quicker, easier and less fatal?

Aug 142017

The fifth episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 was so heavy on plot twists, we had to pause to take breathers. Like hello, slow down! Long lost characters are re-introduced, Jon Snow’s Targaryen identity is almost revealed, Cersei throws a knock-out of a news at Jaime, Arya and Sansa are already on the brink of a fall out. Jon Snow is already back in the north and beyond the Wall , though we are still trying to adapt to the sudden change in the weather, because we were still at Dragonstone two scenes before that. So much has happened in this episode of ‘Game of Thrones’, it’s only legit to list out the best plot twists and what they mean.

Jon Snow Pets A Dragon

The 5th Episode Of ‘Game Of Thrones' Was The Mother Of Plot Twists© HBO

The moment finally happened. Dany’s dragon takes a liking to Jon Snow, just like his mother. Face to face with Drogon, Jon caresses his rocky forehead without being burnt. We can see the fire in Drogon’s eyes and it’s clear Jon is meant for bigger things. Oh come on, out with it already!

Gilly stumbles upon something that could threaten Daenerys’ claim to the throne

The 5th Episode Of ‘Game Of Thrones' Was The Mother Of Plot Twists© HBO

A seemingly insignificant conversation fans might have missed, this one’s even better than Jon petting the dragon. Reading out trivia picked from books, Gilly unknowingly stumbles upon an important piece of information, one that could challenge Daenerys’ claim to the Iron Throne. Gilly mentions a Prince ‘Ragger’ who annuls his marriage and get married to another woman in a secret ceremony in Dorne. No points for guessing it’s Rhaeger Targaryen who marries Lyanna Stark and they are Jon Snow’s parents.

This means that Jon is not  bastard but a trueborn Targaryen, and becomes the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. His claim becomes stronger than Daenerys’ because kings are given preference over queens in Westeros.

Cersei will have a fourth child?!

The 5th Episode Of ‘Game Of Thrones' Was The Mother Of Plot Twists© HBO

Now that was unexpected! This is a plot twist we didn’t see coming. Or is it another of Cersei’s schemes to bring back Jaime from the house of skepticism. Cersei was told in the prophecy that she would have 3 children, all of which would die before her.

Now Cersei is either proving the prophecy wrong or she will probably not carry the child to term. She is already willing to strike a deal with Daenerys, something that will buy her time to come up with a plan to win the war. With news of the pregnancy, she also wins back Jaime who was increasingly growing skeptical of her ways.

Also, erm.. where is Euron?

Littlefinger Is Back With His Sly Tricks

The 5th Episode Of ‘Game Of Thrones' Was The Mother Of Plot Twists© HBO

Littlefinger has finally begun to weave a web of lies and deceit. While we thought Arya would expose Littlefinger and catch him in the middle of a sly coverup, he turns the tables on her by leading her to Sansa’s little secret. The scroll Arya finds dates back to the time when Sansa was in King’s Landing and literally, under house arrest, and Cersei had forced her to write a letter to Robb tell him their father had plotted to kill Joffery and had been charged of treason.

The 5th Episode Of ‘Game Of Thrones' Was The Mother Of Plot Twists© HBO

He is obviously trying to poison the relationship between the two sisters, something that wasn’t exactly perfect before they left Winterfell in the first place. There was already some tension between them when Arya confronts Sansa about her failure to defend Jon Snow in front of the lords.

Gendry is Back

The 5th Episode Of ‘Game Of Thrones' Was The Mother Of Plot Twists© HBO

We must confess we were curious about the whereabouts of Gendry. The lad has grown and knows how to wield a hammer. But his eagerness to run to the North to fight the White Walkers, creatures he has never seen, is a little too unreal and forced. For someone who probably has never even met King Baratheon, his biological father, trying to chat up with Jon like old family friends looks a little silly, to be honest. But the man can kill. He doesn’t bat an eyelid before hammering down the two Lannister soldiers. We have a feeling he’ll be the first casualty of the White Walkers, just like the most enthusiastic member of a gang is always the first to die in a horror movie.

One more reunion besides Jon and Arya’s we are looking forward to: Gendry and Arya’s. Do we see a love story in the making?! Only if the White Walkers don’t kill him.
