Bollywood celebrities have started arriving at Shah Rukh Khan’s Alibaug bungalow and are clearly ecstatic. This party surely seems like one of its kind and will see the Bollywood bigwigs under one roof. Some of the Bollywood celebs have already started sharing pictures from Shah Rukh Khan’s Alibaug bungalow, as the superstar prepares to bring in his birthday.

Off late, Shah Rukh Khan and his family have chosen to celebrate all their special occasions in the small city of Alibaugh, where the actor owns a huge lavish farmhouse. Recently, he celebrated his wedding anniversary with family at this farmhouse. To bring in Shah Rukh’s 52nd birthday, wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan, along with close friends, have headed to Alibaugh. They took a ferry from the Gateway of India and were accompanied by the guests who will be in attendance at the bash.

Here are few friends, who have already left with the mother-daughter duo, for the grand celebration – Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Sussanne Khan, designer Anu Dewan, Vikram Phadnis, Seema Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep Kapoor and daughter Shanaya Kapoor, Suhana’s friend and Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey, who has already become a hit amongst the paparazzi and wife Bhavana Pandey.

Till 2016, it has been a usual norm for Shah Rukh to greet his fans along with his youngest son AbRam from his bungalow Mannat’s balcony and then proceed for a candid interaction with the media at a five-star hotel in Bandra. Today, the maverick has left for Alibaugh with the apple of his eye, AbRam.

It was easily one of the most exquisite high teas that we have recently attended (the other being a few Sunday’s ago with the nuns and girls of the St Anthony’s Girls’ High School on Bellasis Road, but of that some other day).

Catered masterfully by Harsha Kilachand with scrumptious pastries and delicate sandwiches, and festooned with a veritable forest of roses by Gurleen Manchanda, aesthete and designer Simone Arora’s high tea at her store on Friday was a feast for the senses. Simone is married to Ajay Arora, the man behind a luxury furnishings brand, and they appear committed to making the word a prettier place, separately and together.

Seen partaking of the surrounding beauty were the likes of Simi Garewal (who informed us that she was on her way to Melbourne next week where she’d be compeering the Indian Film Festival), Bindu Kapoor, Anu Dewan, Mona Narang and Zeba Kohli amongst others, joined by the beauteous ladies of Simone’s own clan: mother Zarine Khan, sisters Farah Khan Ali and Sussanne, sis-in-law Malaika, and cousin Laila Furniturewala.

And to remind everyone of the magical hour when they had sat atop an exquisite room in an artfully restored heritage site on one of Mumbai’s most genteel tree-lined avenues, Simone had thoughtfully arranged a give-back present of a tiny exquisite fine bone China tea set festooned with roses!

The subject is under wraps, but you know what to expect – an irreverently funny take on anything and everything. Meanwhile, Twinkle threw a bash to celebrate sister Rinke’s birthday on Thursday.

In attendance was her girl gang which includes Sussanne Khan and Anu Dewan. She shared a snapshot from the bash on Instagram and said, “Happy birthday Rinkston. Wined out birthday fun.”
