No, don’t worry, it’s not the end of another celebrity couple who made us believe in love.
This is just another dramatic yet hilarious way of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively showing us how much they love each other.
They both never let go of an opportunity to one up each other online and I’m just glad that we can all experience them trolling each other together.
Side note: we need to take this opportunity to reminisce some incidents where these master-trollers entertained all of us.
If you’re like me and are always on Instagram, you must have noticed the Instagram blackout by Blake Lively recently. She pretty much deleted every picture she had ever posted on the social media account, along with unfollowing everyone, even her husband Ryan Reynolds. If they were a typical millennial couple, they would have had a huge fight over this.
But all’s well. After speculating that if she got hacked or not, we found out it’s just an elaborate promotional stunt for Blake’s upcoming movie ‘A Simple Favour’.
Okay coming back to Instagram, Blake unfollowed everyone and started following a bunch of people named Emily Nelson, the name of her character.
Anyone unfollowing you on Instagram would hurt but when it’s your own wife, well that is like the first step towards divorce. Looks like even Ryan Reynolds is also aware of this and that’s why he had a very sad reaction to this huge relationship deal-breaker.
While promoting ‘Deadpool 2’, one of the most anticipated movies of the year, he was asked about his marital problems, because after all your wife unfollowing you on Instagram is a big deal.
“How are you feeling too, by the way? I know the wife unfollowed you on Instagram,” the host asked, to which Reynolds responded, “Yes she did.”
The host then asked, “Does that hurt, a little bit inside?”
And, Ryan replied, “Definitely stings. It’s a terrible way to find out that I’ve been kicked out of the house, to be honest. Absolutely terrible. I don’t know where rage like that comes from.”
Aww, Ryan.
When the host further joked about this fake marriage problems wouldn’t affect his kids at all, Ryan joked, “That’s true, yeah. ‘Mommy unfollowed Daddy on Instagram.’ My child would just fart and walk away.”
Kids are precious, tbh.
