The immensely talented actor stole the show as the villainous Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie, impressing everyone with his intensity and evil eccentricity. And now the talented actor has bagged the ‘Entertainment Leader of the Year’ awards by a leading business news channel. And we couldn’t agree more, that Ranveer deserves this award more than anyone in the industry.

Well, Ranveer getting this title doesn’t come as a surprise as over the years, the actor has carved his way to the top, proving that he can literally pull off any character effortlessly. In the past couple of years, he has tried on different shades as an actor, entertaining us to the fullest. When it comes to playing any role, it’s just amazing to see how he gets into the skin of the character.
Watching him play Khilji was like watching a live experience in itself. Ranveer, as Khilji, gave an electrifying performance. He ensured that you couldn’t take your eyes away from him. On the work front, 2018 is quite an interesting year for the actor with quite a few interesting projects lined up. Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ is next in line which also stars Alia Bhatt, where we will see him playing the role of an aspiring street rapper. Ranveer will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’, and Kabir Khan’s next film, ’83’, in which he will portray former Indian Cricket Team captain Kapil Dev.
