After being in a legal soup for a long time, the John Abraham and Diana Penty starrer ‘Parmanu’ has finally been cleared for a theatre release. The trailer for the movie based on the 1998 Pokhran blasts is out now.
The movie tells the story of the army officials who disguised as ASI officials in 1998 and conducted the nuclear bomb test explosion.The trailer starts in the voice of Boman Irani’s who explains how anyone taking this up will not get any rewards or medals, followed by John Abraham’s voice, which explains us why the Indian army had to go undercover and carry out this nuclear test. The operation was carried out by six brave army officials who carried out this dangerous ‘Operation Shakti’ without letting the world know about it. The movie salutes the brave army soldiers and scintists who were involved in this dangerous excusrion. The movie was under a lot of legal pressure and the release date kept on being postponed due to this.
The movie also stars Boman Irani and is all set to release on 25th May and will clash with the release of Harshvardhan Kapoor starrer ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’.
