With the Indian Premier League (IPL) finale set to go down this Sunday, fans are beside themselves with worry and excitement to see if their favorite team will take home the coveted cup.
The whole nation is rooting for their favorite teams and it’s yet to be decided as to which two teams will fight it out in the end. However, the organisers cannot breathe a sigh of relief just yet because of the last match, as they have another massive issue to handle- the glittering finale.
The finale will be a star-studded affair with Bollywood biggies taking the stage and grooving away. IPL is not just cricket, as it takes the gentleman’s game and gives the sport a bit of ‘cricketainment’ and we bet you are excited as well.
B-town celebs Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kartik Aaryan and Katrina Kaif will be seen burning the stage and we are already excited for their sizzling performances.
Salman and Jacqueline will perform on Heeriye, a song from their upcoming movie ‘Race 3’. The movie has already created quite a buzz and is also internet’s latest meme target. Joining the duo will be the amazing Anil Kapoor, who can still give any actor a run for their money.

We will also see Katrina and Kartik perform and there are millions already rooting for them. Taking about this whole thing, a tabloid report stated, “Salman and Jacqueline will host one segment on cricket where the superstar will talk about his love for the sport and how he often plays the game at his Panvel farmhouse. He will also talk about his favourite players and who he supports. Later, he and Jackie will shake a leg on Heeriye, their latest song from ‘Race 3’. Anil Kapoor, too, will join the duo.”
Coming to Katrina and Kartik’s show, the report revealed, “They will have separate acts. Kartik will perform on Bom Diggy Diggy and Dil Chori from ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. Katrina will dance to her hits from ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017). Though the songs are still being finalised, Swag Se Swagat is sure to be on Katrina’s playlist.”
Reports also said that Ranbir Kapoor will host this two-hour event. We will also see John Abraham promoting his movie ‘Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran’.
Looking at the power-packed list, we just can’t keep calm because we know this is going to be a lit affair. However, we’ve also got to admit that the cost of these performances will surely be ten times more than that of the match. Things people do for TRP!
