He is none other actor Keanu Reeves and if we keep our brains aside and look at all his old pictures and movies, it seems that time froze in his case. Whether it is the year 1995 or 2015, the 52-year-old Keanu Reeves looks like he is still in his early 20s or 30s. Well, even our heart wants to believe that Keanu is a human, but this site called Keanu Is Immortal has been throwing shade…oops light on this matter for quite some time now. With every scroll down, we fall deep in love with this site that has listed in detail the similarities between Reeves and his alter egos from the past. Some of the notable personalities are Charlemagne (748-814) and Paul Mounet (1847-1922).

It does make sense given that he shares a striking resemblance with the French actor Mounet, and we are glad that he did not leave his exceptional acting prowess, even as Reeves. Further, a comment by Reeves triggered this theory more. When asked about donating £50 million, he said “Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I have already made for the next few centuries.” Hmm, centuries you say! Are there any chances of adopting a few of us Keanu?

Now, while we all were coming to terms with this shocking revelation and were in a dilemma of which side to choose – science and logic or our fanciful eyes; Reeves cleared the air around it in a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon. At his ‘The Tonight Show’, Reeves was shown pictures of his supposed previous personalities and his priceless reaction is worth watching on a loop. Although Jackie Chan’s movie ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ with actor Sonu Sood failed to impress audiences, after watching the trailer of his upcoming movie, ‘The Foreigner’, we can now say that he is finally back and how! Directed by ‘Casino Royale’s’ Martin Campbell and starring Pierce Brosnan as well, Chan will be playing one of the most badass characters he has ever played in his entire movie career.

Set in the backdrop of London, this movie revolves around a businessman who goes to great lengths to find the terrorists behind the blast that took his daughter away from him. Fueled with cold revenge and a brutal vendetta after watching his daughter die, he sets out to unravel the real reason and the culprits who might be connected to a British government official, played by Brosnan. What happens when you push a good man into a corner, especially when that person has a long-buried past which is better left untouched; weaves the rest of the plot.

When you have two of the biggest stars in one movie, it becomes difficult to give equal attention to both. But our James Bond and Martial Arts expert proved us wrong with their phenomenal performance and great chemistry (even when they are foes). The movie is slated to release on October 13. We can’t wait!

‘Annyeonghaseyo’ (Hello in Korean) my Chingus (friends in Korean)! I am back with my fresh list of Korean movies that I would recommend you to watch. If you are even remotely aware of names like Won Bin, Choi Min Sik, So Ji Sub, Lee Min Ho, Song Joong Ki, Ji Sung, Bong Joon Ho or the Hong sisters; then I can certify you as a true K-Drama fan. But, if you are scratching your head and searching it on Google, then we guess you still have a long way to go.
South Korean directors leave no stone unturned in bending our minds with their trippy plot twists and gut-wrenching scenes. So much so that movies like ‘The Man From Nowhere’, ‘Oldboy’ and ‘The Host’ are now etched in our memories. Having said that, I think most of you will second with me that ‘The Host’ is one of the best monster movies ever made and director Bong Joon Ho deserves all our respect for creating such a masterpiece.

However, his directorial prowess does not simply end here, Bong Joon Ho has given the world some of the best movies and we are glad that we happened to get our hands on them. Bong Joon Ho is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, a Netflix original ‘Okja’. ‘Ojka’ is the story of a young girl who goes to extreme lengths to protect her giant pet pig from becoming a pawn at the hands of the corporates. It will release on June 28th.

Do you know what happens when names like Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Bong Joon Ho, John Hurt, Song Kang Ho, and Ed Harris come under one roof? A mind-bending masterpiece comes to life. This South Korean-Czech science fiction thriller is a must-watch movie if you haven’t seen it already. Set inside a globetrotting train called Snowpiercer, this movie revolves around the passengers on-board, supposedly the last remnants of humankind, who fight to survive after a climate engineering attempt to prevent global warming goes awry and creates a new ice age. After the success of ‘Snowpiercer’, Tilda Swinton and Bong Joon Ho came together for his upcoming film ‘Okja’.

2. Memories Of Murder – 2003

If you are a K-drama fan like us, chances are you would have already seen it. But for those who are new inductees into the remarkable world of Korean movies, this has to be on your favourites list. ‘Memories of Murder’ is a crime thriller about a serial killer, who rapes and kills women who wear red on a rainy night. To rub salt on the wounds, he further requests the local radio station to play a particular song on the night of the murder. It is based on a real-life story of Korea’s first serial murder in history that took place in the 1980s and 1990s.

3. Mother – 2009

This movie revolves around a windowed woman and the fight she puts up for her son, who is unjustly arrested for a murder of a high school girl. After her son becomes a scapegoat and gets tricked by the police into signing a confession and is now facing a long jail term, she decides to take matters into her own hands and begins solving the case. To what lengths can a mother go to protect her child, weaves the rest of the plot. Won Bin, who plays the convicted son in this movie, later starred in 2010 blockbuster ‘The Man From Nowhere’.

4. Barking Dogs Never Bite – 2000

Another classic by Bong Joon Ho, this dark comedy drama was actually his directorial debut. This movie narrates the story of an out-of-work college professor who starts abusing and kidnapping dogs in his apartment building, after getting irritated by the sound of their barking. When the people start complaining about the missing dogs, a woman working at the apartment takes it on her to investigate the case.

5. Tokyo – 2008

Although Bong Joon Ho is the primary reason, apart from him ‘Tokyo’ has several other intriguing aspects that will compel you to watch it at least once. This movie is special because it is not one of those regular feature films, it is a French/Japanese/South Korean/German anthology movie, written by three different directors. While directors Michel Gondry and Leos Carax directed segments called “Interior Design” and “Merde”, the third part “Shaking Tokyo” was helmed by Bong Joon Ho. I can assure you that you won’t feel disappointed after watching this film.

After breaking all records within the first few days of its release, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ has now added another feather to its hat of achievements. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus will now be screened as the opening movie at this year’s Moscow International Film Festival in Russia that starts today. This development has filled both Rajamouli and Baahubali’s fans’ hearts with pride, joy and excitement.

Feeling like a proud father, Rajamouli shared this news on Twitter and all we are left with now is to see Moscow shout “Jiyo re Baahubali” or cry at the scene where Katappa killed him. In fact, Rajamouli is currently in Russia to attend this 8-day event that will end on 30th June.

Ahead of the release of his film ‘Tubelight’, actor Salman Khan is busy with promotions and has been participating in various media events. However, at a recent press conference, it wasn’t Khan but his youngest co-actor, 8-year-old Matin Rey Tangu, who stole the show and our hearts with his innocent comments.

We are not trying to start any racial debate here, but time and again people from the North East are made to feel that they aren’t a part of India. Recently, Matin too found himself at the center of such discussions and taught the much-needed general knowledge lessons to even the adults. Matin who hails from Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh, was asked by a reporter whether he has come to India for the first time. Matin who looked clearly confused by this question asked the reporter to ask the question again. After Salman explained the question to him, he understood what the question really meant and answered the same in an innocent yet the most badass manner.

Matin said, “Hum India par hi rehte hai to India par aege hi kaise?” (I live in India, so how will I come to India?”) This one line has won our hearts and now all we can wish for is a society where one does not get racially discriminated. The audience was smitten by his answer and start applauding him. Set in the 1962 Sino-Indian war, Kabir Khan’s directorial venture is releasing on June 23rd. It also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and Sohail Khan.

We don’t think there will ever be a ‘Jumanji’ without Robin Williams. Being the exceptional actor that Williams was, he turned Alan Parrish into a legendary character, whose power the animal kingdom and the humans believed in. After making us fall in love with the cheeky Mrs. Doubtfire, he stole our hearts yet again in the 1995 blockbuster movie, ‘Jumanji’. Although the actor passed away in 2014, he will always live in our hearts as Alan Parrish who was trapped in a mystical world for 26 years. Remembering the celebrated actor, Jack Black revealed that the ‘Jumanji’ sequel will feature Williams and our excitement now knows no bounds.

Black said that Sony Pictures’ new movie, ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ will feature a tribute to Williams. While the first movie revolved around the outside world, the sequel will primarily explore the inside world, the jungle. Black told The Hollywood Reporter, “We’re exploring this jungle and trying to conquer the game; its life or death.” “But while we’re there, we find clues left behind by (Williams’ character Alan Parrish). He built up a full-blown jungle house, similar to a Swiss Family Robinson situation. It’s like he’s there helping us without actually being there,” he further added.

Black also mentioned that exploring the jungle is the “coolest part of the film” since the makers managed to transport the audience to the ‘secret and wondrous land’ of ‘Jumanji’. Although, we badly miss actor Robin Williams, the fact that the new movie will feature a tribute is reason enough for us to head to the theatres on December 20th.

The teaser of the much-awaited film ‘Baadshaho’ is out and actor Ajay Devgn is back to sweep us off our feet, after winning our hearts earlier with his stellar performance in ‘Shivaay’. Set during the 1975 emergency, this movie revolves around ‘6 badasses’ who take advantage of this situation to pull off a heist worth millions in gold and change their lives forever. For those who failed to notice (although, we wonder if there is anyone who missed it), the movie also features Sunny Leone and sparks will surely fly once you watch her share the screen with Emraan Hashmi.

Ajay Devgn’s rugged look and spot on Haryanvi accent is an intriguing takeaway from this teaser and has compelled us to look forward to its release. He will be joined by Ileana D’Cruz, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jamwal, Sanjay Mishra and Esha Gupta, and together they will redefine badassery for this entire generation, by looting gold from under the nose of the army.

Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi, who earlier worked together in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, will play gangsters in this movie too, and in all honesty, we are dying to see the two recreate that magic. Esha Gupta and Ileana D’Cruz look stunning and it’s a pleasant surprise to see them in a bold avatar. Vidyut Jamwal on the other hand, looked every bit the fearsome individual he is. If you feel that these aren’t reasons enough for you to head to the movie theatre, the fact that Sanjay Mishra is a part of this brilliant star cast will definitely compel you to go. Apart from sex, Jon Snow, the Starks and the Lannisters, beautiful Emilia Clarke and her dragons; if there is anything that Game of Thrones is known for – it’s the gory and gut-wrenching death scenes. We are sure that all the GOT fans will second with me here when I say that no other TV series can portray death scenes as brutally as this one. But, this is the charm of GOT. Despite being gruesome, we still look forward to the deaths of those we hate and cry an ocean when our favourite characters are killed.

Last year, we compiled a list of deaths that included Hodor, Ned Stark, Wun Wun, and Khal Drogo to name a few. While, we managed to take the count over 40, someone has listed down as many as 1,50,966 deaths, thus becoming the biggest GOT fan to have ever walked on this earth.

YouTube channel ‘Leon Andrew Razon Compilations’ has created a 21 minute video where they have counted, with much precision, each and every death that took place in the series. While, we all are eagerly waiting for the season 7 to hit the screens on July 16, this video can surely help act as recap for all the seasons.

Do you remember Arya Stark’s famous dialogue from the second season? She tells Tywin Lannister that “Anyone can be killed” and after surviving through 6 seasons, fans can now possibly affirm that no matter how pinching those words are, they are definitely true for the characters. From heads mounted on a spike, eyes gouging out, to throats getting slit by swords, and arrows shooting out of nowhere; there is literally no mercy and definitely no limitations when it comes killing someone in the series.
