'Spider Man: Into The Spider Verse' Shows A Universe Where More Than One Can Wear The Mask

Sony Pictures joined hands with Marvel and gave us the first trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’, which is supposed to be the first animated feature spider man movie. And now people, it is time to be meet Mile Morales.

The trailer made its much awaited release at the ‘Comic Con Experience 2017’ in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The film is based on the Spider-Verse Marvel event which traced Morlun and his family killing every possible spider character that existed across the humungous Marvel universe.

Eventually the spider men from all over gather to team up and win this war. The official synopsis of the movie reads something like this:

“Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.” The movie is all set to hit screens on December 14th 2018 so that’s a long wait but we trust these trailers to continue coming our way.

‘Dangal’ has been causing a lot of ‘mangal’ everywhere in the world. The stellar record-breaking movie has already made it big in India, overseas and especially in China.

The Aamir Khan-starrer has added a new feather to its overflowing cap. ‘Dangal’ has been awarded as the ‘Best Asian Film’ at the seventh Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards. The amazing piece of news was shared by Shabana Azmi, who was also a part of the jury.

The wonderful movie traces the story of Mahavir Phogat and his famous Phogat daughters who have made India super proud.

The movie managed to stake in more than $6 million in China and Hong Kong in less than a week’s time. The Nitesh Tiwari directed movie starred Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim, Sakshi Tanwar and Suhani Bhatnagar in lead roles. It’s movies like these which give you a taste of Indian cinema in the perfect way. 

'3 Storeys' Is An Intriguing Tale Of The Mumbai Chawl That Is Not Visible To The Naked Eye

Very few films capture a city or a place in a certain way that is usually hidden to the naked eye. ‘3 Storeys’ looks like one amazing multi-narrative movie. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the movie shows an intriguing and an intense side of the Mumbai ‘chawl’ that is not visible to the naked eye.

Like the name suggests, it tells three different gripping tales. The first story features Renuka Shahane ( in a never seen before avatar, BTW) and Pulkit Samrat, the second one has Sharman Joshi and Masumeh, while the third one has a runaway couple with the zing of Richa Chaddha’s presence as well.

There’s a dark love story, a dead body and a stash of casually kept diamonds. The stories seem to be running parallel to each other and will they collide or not, we can’t decrypt that yet. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens in February 2018 so you want to keep an eye for this one. 

The 'Wolverine' Could Have Been 'James Bond' But Unfortunately It Never Happened

Hugh Jackman made his ‘Wolverine’ avatar iconic and has a massive fan following for that.

In a recent interview, Jackman revealed some information which could have been HUGE, if only it happened. Apparently, the ‘Wolverine’ turned down the iconic role of ‘James Bond’ because he thought the script was a little too wild for his comfort. “I just felt at the time that the scripts has become so unbelievable and crazy, and I felt like they needed to become grittier and real’, he said.

Another hiccup in the legendary actor not taking up the role of the iconic spy was that he was told by the producers that he won’t have any say in the whole plotting of the movie and the character. So that’s one more thing that made him turn it down. Also, he was worried about swinging between ‘X-Men’ and ‘James Bond’ which would have been tough. His refusal turned out to be gold for Daniel Craig eventually.

Obviously, Hugh had nothing to worry about and regrets didn’t have any space in his life since he went on to do some stellar work and owned the whole ‘Wolverine’ franchise and made it what it became.
