They might have denied the news of their wedding, but when it’s about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, the news doesn’t die down easily. And especially the one involving their D-Day, one can’t help but try to know more and more about it.
A source close to Virat Kohli told MensXP that, “The wedding is happening and we can’t help but be so happy for this day.”
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli both left the country around the same time with their respective families and that just added fuel to the fire. Looks like the speculations are not wrong, after all.

Revealing more details about the wedding, the source told us, “The guest list isn’t huge. It is a very intimate affair and only close friends and family are invited. In fact, everything was decided almost 3-4 months ago. The priest picked up the December wedding and they wanted to keep it low key. Both the families sat together and laid down the plan of how they want to do it.”
Fans who want to know who has made it to the guest list: “Not many people have been invited, as it is a really small function. Just closed ones are invited, Virat’s childhood friends and few of our family members. From cricket fraternity, only Sachin and Yuvraj will be seen, if they make it to the wedding. And of course, Virat’s coach Rajkumar Sharma who once taught him. There were others too but they can’t make it for the day.”
The source also revealed that “There are a couple of functions taking place. One will be held at Florence and other at Milan. It is going to be a proper Indian wedding with the priests and Indian wedding rituals.”

This close friend of Virat also shared that Virat didn’t get time to prep much because of the cricket series. However, Anushka Sharma will be wearing Sabyasachi’s design as her wedding trousseau.
Giving in more details, the source said, “The reception will take place after the Sri Lanka Series that’s when the whole Bollywood and cricket fraternity will be invited. It will be a big bash. The duo will also be registering their marriage in Mumbai Court in January.”
