Waking up on a Sunday afternoon with zero motivation, no gym plans (for some it was never an option), and no catching up with the gang; you sit down and start surfing and swiping through the pictures on Instagram. If this is what ‘my kind of Sunday’ looks like for you, then chances are that you would have also come across this particular video of Akshay Kumar doing what he does best – leaving us dumbfound with his charm and antics.

If there was a secret society or a club in Bollywood called ‘Fitness Actors Association For Whom Age Is Just A Number’, Akshay Kumar will probably be the uncontested president of that club.
Even at 50, Akshay Kumar is not only giving actors half his age a run for their money, but also setting unbeatable fitness goals like it’s nobody’s damn business. And the ‘PadMan’ actor did exactly the same again during a walkathon in Mumbai, by showing his fans why he deserves to be called Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’.
He did not teach any fighting tricks, nor did he show us any new technique of Martial Arts; he simply turned the whole world upside down, during the promotions of his film ‘PadMan’. How? By first doing a handstand and then walking on the stage on his HANDS. Akshay captioned the video as, “What seems hard today, will one day be your warm-up. Keep trying.” If this does not motivate you to jump out of your bed and start working out, we wonder what will.

Akshay shared another video, where he was seen flagging off the walkathon, “Happy to see a swell crowd while flagging off @MaxBupa’s #WalkForHealth. Keep walking Mumbai…not just today, everyday!”

While, we are super impressed with Akshay’s insane fitness levels, get ready to see a totally different side of him in R Balki’s ‘PadMan’, which is based on the real life story of social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham. The movie also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor and is releasing on February 9. Apart from ‘PadMan’, get ready to witness another inspiring story of India’s victory in Hockey at the 1948 London Olympics. Yes, we are talking about Akshay’s next film ‘Gold’.
Stay tuned to this space for more updates on the first look and trailer of the movie that’s releasing tomorrow, February 5th.
