Few months ago, around the release of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, his wife Twinkle Khanna aka Mrs. Funnybones’ tweet about a man defecating on the Juhu beach sparked a debate over the lack of toilets in the area.

Months later now, Mr. Kumar is doing the needful that a real life hero would do. According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, he has joined hands with Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray to install toilets on the Juhu beach and is reportedly spending around 10 lakhs on it.

“The toilet has six seats, three each for men and women, and a separate row of urinals. “The toilets have bio-digester so there will be no stink. The toilets will bring a lot of relief to not just the local slum dwellers, but also to visitors,” said Prashant Gaikwa , Assistant Municipal Commissioner, K-West ward.
