Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most anticipated films of 2018. On Friday, the makers of the film announced its release date. The film will now hit the 70 mm on June 29, 2018. Ranbir Kapoor and the other characters in the film are seen to do equal justice with each of their respective characters. However, apart from the cast and Ranbir’s look, not an iota of the film has been revealed, not even its title. Though there are various speculations like ‘Sanju’, ‘Dutt’ and many other names floating around.

Talking about her looks in the movie, Manisha had earlier said, “We did a couple of tests, from when she had short hair to when she had long hair. I think we have got the look somewhere closer to how Nargis Ji looked and I am quite kicked about it. Yes, I am excited about it.” Late actor Nargis Dutt’s daughter Priya Dutt even gifted Manisha ‘Mr and Mrs Dutt, Memories of Our Parents’, a book by Namrata Dutt Kumar and Priya to help her ace the role of her mother on screen.

Apart from Manisha, the film also features Dia Mirza essaying Sanjay’s wife, Maanayata Dutt’s character, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Sanjay’s father, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal have some interesting roles to play in the Dutt biopic. This film proves to be very vital for Ranbir’s career.
