The cast of Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s (Swastik Productions) Shankar Jai Kishen talk about their plans for Diwali and the cracker they resemble the most.
Chitrashi Rawat
Chitrashi Rawat: I have already started attending many Diwali parties. On the day of Diwali, I will stay at home. I have not gone to my home town this year, because of the shooting schedules. This Diwali, I will be at home, cleaning my house, decorating it with lights and rangolis, as I do every year.
Himmanshoo Malhotra: I will celebrate Diwali at home with my wife. We will light diyas, decorate the house with Rangolis and lamps, get dressed and maybe call up some friends. I think I resemble the fountain, as I am full of positivity and like to make people happy.
Hemant Pandey: I am going to celebrate Diwali with my family this year. The cracker that I resemble the most is Phuljhadi because it is bright and lively.
Sumeet Samnani: I celebrate Diwali with family every year. Diwali is one of the grandest festivals for Hindus. So I take off from work for at least 3-4 days and spend that time with my loved ones. I resemble a fountain because I feel that I give out positive vibes when I meet people. I try to do good things for others. I think I also resemble a rocket because I always aim high.
Falaq Naaz: I will visit my friends and my brother. My family and my friends think that I am like the fountain. Because when it bursts, everyone looks at it in awe. But personally, I think I am a rocket because when I get angry, I burst and people watch me in silence.
