What will happen with the ‘Transformers’ franchise is a question that has remained unanswered for a long time, but at least we now know there is one movie coming for sure to entertain us thoroughly. The trailer of Transformers’ spin-off has arrived and it’s all about our much-loved yellow VW Autobot.

Unlike most Transformers film, this one is quite refreshing and brings in a female heroine, some deep emotions and a lot at personal stake. The gigantic Autobot has a lot of heart.

The trailer begins with the ever-lasting words of Bobby Bolivia, played by Bernie Mac in the first Transformers movie. “The driver doesn’t pick the car, the car picks the driver. It’s a mystical bond between man and machine.”

Soon we are introduced to Charlie, our teenage heroine (Hailee Steinfeld). We see her driving home in a yellow Volkswagen Beetle, only to realise that it is actually a Transformer.

You see a bond building between Bumblebee and Charlie, where they form a strong bond of friendship. This is Bumblebee before we met him in 2007. He is lost and finds it difficult to trust people. Charlie shows him solicitude and compassion.

But time will test their relation, as Decepticons make their appearance.
