‘The Rock’ boasts of having unparalleled popularity across the globe and that is saying something. Called the ‘people’s champ’, Dwayne has a heart of gold when it comes to his fans and showing his love and appreciation for them.

Recently, one of his fans, a young high school girl asked him to be her prom date on Twitter. The message was funny and her explanation for why he should go with her was also pretty on-point.

So obviously when you tweet out to your favourite celebrity and ask them on a date, it’s not like you expect them ringing your doorbell right? Anyway, that’s not how Dwayne plays the game. But what he did next will leave you stunned.

He surprised Katie with a recorded message on her school intercom system explaining how he cannot make it to the prom since he is shooting. She was okay with it, obviously. However, that’s not even the best part of the story. He actually booked an entire theatre with 232 seats and unlimited snacks and asked her to take all her friends with her.

I’ll take happy 😭 tears all day.
Here’s the vid from this morning of me surprising @katiekelzenberg over the school’s intercom. Her reaction when I say her name is priceless.
I bought out her local theater this weekend so she & her BFF’s can watch RAMPAGE. #StillwaterHigh🤙ðŸ?¾ pic.twitter.com/P24M5RuiWt

Part 2. @katiekelzenberg’s reaction to me buying out her local theater this weekend for her and 232 (theater capacity) of her closest friends! Don’t know who’s more excited, me or Katie 😂👊ðŸ?¾ #StillwaterHigh #Minnesota #AllTheCandyAndPopcornYouCanEat pic.twitter.com/wtCfSZiksl

Oh, by the way, he also followed her back on Twitter. How many high school students get to have a fan moment like this!? Even though I am not an American citizen, but hell yeah, please put up ‘Dwayne Johnson for President’ banners already bro!
