Two months ago, we got the first look of Venom, showing a jaded Tom Hardy walking down the streets, riding bikes and getting a CT scan. However, we never really got to see Hardy’s true character Eddie Brock transforming into the evil Venom, but the wait is finally over and believe us when we say the wait is worth it.

The latest trailer dropped today and it introduces us to Hardy’s transformation into the scary anti-hero.

The trailer shows how he gets infected with the ‘Symbiote’ (an alien parasite), that requires a host to survive. The first host for this venom was Spider-Man, but Peter Parker got rid of it after he realised how dark and dangerous it can be. Soon the alien element finds itself another host in journalist Brock

Going by the comic books Carlton Drake, a twisted Silicon Valley bioresearch scientist, is fascinated by the alien element and creates different variations of the symbiote- Lasher, Phage, Scream, Agony, and Riot.

Coming to the rival, while there were tons of speculations that Cletus Kasady aka Carnage will be the main antagonist, it looks like Carlton Drake played by Riz Ahmed (head of Life Foundation) might actually be the one.  Yeah, they are the same evil gang who were after Spider-Man.

Also in the film, Scott Haze will be seen as Roland Treece. We also have Reid Scott as Patrick Mulligan aka Toxin, the third famous symbiote. In case you forgot, he is the first symbiote to actually have an alliance with Spidy and an on and off equation with Venom.
