It won’t be wrong to say that 2017 has been a rather good year for Varun Dhawan. With both of his releases- ‘Badrinath ki Dulhania’ and ‘Judwaa 2’ being blockbusters and crossing the Rs. 200 crore mark, we thought it could not get any better for him…turns out it can.

Getting immortalized in the form of a wax statue at the legendary Madame Tussauds is a huge deal for any and every celebrity. But it becomes a greater deal when your wax statue is going to break records and Varun Dhawan is doing just that. The Bollywood heartthrob is all set to have a wax statue created in his image at Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong and THIS is why it is a big deal.

With this achievement, Varun is not only the youngest Indian actor to have a statue at the wax museum at Hong Kong but is also the fourth Indian face at the Hong Kong center. The other three are Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.

The actor, who is in seventh heaven, confirmed the news through his Twitter handle.

More than 200 measurements were taken and his hair color, eye color and skin tone were also closely matched. Varun himself has been working closely with the sculpting team and giving them ideas about the statue’s final look.

All’s well and done and we definitely can’t wait for his statue to be unveiled. But one thing we can’t help but think about is what pose would his statue be in?

Taking the past into consideration, Madame Tussauds’ statues, though stunning, usually include the celebrities standing in a rather stiff pose. So we thought of some poses that the Tussauds team could consider while making his statute. You know, just to break the monotony.

1. The ‘debut’ pose

Varun made his debut with ‘Student of The Year’ back in 2012 and with his first film itself; he managed to make women all over the world swoon over his charming looks and excellent physique. Although we doubt that Madame Tussauds would ever go the extra mile and consider a shirtless pose, his iconic rockstarish entry in the film definitely makes for a good pose.

2. The ‘Shah Rukh Khan’ pose

Varun, who is an ardent fan of Shah Rukh (who isn’t?) loves to imitate this classic and legendary pose of the Badshah of Bollywood and we have to say, he does it pretty well.

We’re pretty sure he would be more than happy to have his statue in the same pose as his favorite actor.

3. The ‘sitting on an imaginary chair’ pose

This one might prove to be a little difficult to execute but Varun Dhawan channeling this pose on top of a bus while lip syncing to his hit song ‘Palat’ is definitely noteworthy.

4. The ‘making a heart’ pose

We aren’t exactly a fan of this pose but it seems to be quite popular with his admirers.

5. The ‘Badlapur meme’ pose

Last but definitely not the least, this still from the movie ‘Badlapur’ went viral over the internet. Also, Varun’s intense expression gave Twitter users the perfect opportunity to churn hilarious memes.

Raise your hand if you dream of travelling the entire world, sometime in the future. Yes? Everybody? We thought so.

It’s rather difficult to come across a person who wouldn’t want to travel the world. However, due to certain commitments and issues (mostly monetary), it remains a far-fetched dream. So, for most of us, resorting to movies that take us to exotic locations through the medium of cinema, compensates for our otherwise not-so-happening lives. But it isn’t just the location that does the trick.

When directors add interesting characters with tales of friendship and locations in a never-seen before manner, it makes for the perfect combination. It’s no wonder why movies like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani’ did wonders on the box office!

So if you have been feeling a void in that wanderlust-inspiring-movie genre, then here’s some good news. Kalki Koechlin and Richa Chadha are coming together in a movie that will take you on a roller coaster ride and inspire you to take that long-pending road trip with your friends.

‘Jia aur Jia’ is a story about two women, played by Richa Chadha and Kalki Koechlin that share the same name (no points for guessing this one)- Jia.

But apart from their names, nothing and we mean absolutely nothing is similar.  Despite their differences, they embark on a life-changing journey.

The trailer starts off by showing us how the character of Richa Chadha, an uptight banker called Jia, meets her contrasting, happy-go-lucky personality i.e. Kalki’s character ‘Jia’.

When it comes to road trips or any trip for that matter, one would obviously prefer going with like-minded people as your trip can go seriously wrong if you are stuck with a person who is exactly your opposite. But from what we can judge by the trailer, this movie will shatter this stereotype in the most interesting and fun way possible.

The conflicts that arise between the two of them will bring a smile to your face and brighten up a dull day. From almost hating each other to becoming the best of friends and sharing their darkest secrets, the movie sure takes a refreshing look at female friendships while taking you through the beautiful country of Sweden. It somehow reminded us of the Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Queen’ and the blockbuster ‘Zindagi Na MIlegi Dobara’ and we don’t mind this vibe at all.

The film also stars actor Arslan Goni in a pivotal role.

The movie is slated to release on October 27th 2017 and we can’t wait to see the powerhouse performances of these actresses.
